Jasmine, Jasmine and more Jasmine..I was really disappointed with this, not because it isn’t a nice fragrance but because to me it is just like Pure Poison in a different bottle, it’s unfortunately nothing original. I wanted something fresh and light with bergamot & summery citrus lemon but instead all I am getting is Jasmine, Neroli and soapy white flowers with hints of white pepper and ginger. Quite heavy all in all and a little cloying.
I was impressed with the no parabens etc. formula by BSQ and look forward to trying some future fragrances but for now I’ll have to go and buy Acqua di Parma Bergamotto di Calabria, a far more refined Bergamot scent which delivers what is required; bergamot with a mouth watering zesty lemon/lime peel tang and soft whispers of a salty sea breeze. Perfect for summer – should it ever arrive..

One of my favourites – lovely fresh floral citrussy refreshing smell. Reasonable sillage and lasts a good 6 hours on me. Very reasonably priced if very hard to find outside of the UK.

i bought three white line from berkeley square on an australian shopping online site.. so i came here and read some reviews and decided to buy them, plus it wasn’t that expensive and i was in love with the retro and simple packaging..
i don’t know why but this white bergamot eau de toilette reminds me of kenzo amour indian holi a lot.. i know the composition is not the same, but the deepness and unique smell gave me the same feeling as the kenzo amour indian holi.. up there, it says there is jasmine here, but i can’t sense it, well unlike its brother, the white muguet, is full jasmine bomb..
in the box, it says “white bergamot with essential oils of neroli”.. i’m gonna be honest i don’t know how neroli supposed to smell, but hmm.. when i wear it, it gives me the feeling like i’m on vacation in some tropical island, at the SPA smelling this beautiful aroma therapy.. it is warm and relaxing, and i recommend it for night, and on cold weather days..

Oh dear, have just joined fragrantica and find that one of my signature fragrances is completely unreviewed! Berkeley Square is quite difficult to get in the US and I managed to discover them while hunting for Penhaligon’s US retailers/distributors on the internet. White Bergamot is amazing — fresh, floral, rich, with a breath of citrus and boasting perfect sillage and great longevity. If you come across it, BUY IT. You will not regret the purchase. Admittedly, it is somewhat linear as many — or most — British colognes tend to be, but the richness of the fragrance itself more than makes up for this.
