Brash, but not in an altogether unpleasant way. It’s not listed, but there does seem to be a very dusty and somewhat overwhelming incense that is present. The lavender comes through rather creamy, as though it were mixed with sandalwood or tonka. The benzoin is very, very scratchy. Not smooth like one would hope for. The citrus opening is almost overtaken by the incense.
A bizarre fragrance, but not one I dislike or even just ‘like’. I’ve worn it quite a bit and really enjoy it. Very strong. Wear with caution.

I detected no citrus on this. Only lavender (strong lavender), maybe with sweeter flowers and vanilla. After an hour or so, the scent turns very smokey and incensy. For me, too incensy.
I can imagine why people might find this comforting. I think I’d enjoy it a lot, if it were weaker and less smokey. It can last hours, too, so blind buying might not be a good idea.

I’ve been dying to try this, and finally got a chance to. Although I do like Twilight, something about the addition of tonka/ vanilla in lavender reminds me of Bath & Body Works Lavender Vanilla, which I do not like, and was interested in trying this one. Although I did detect the same lavender note that’s in Twilight, the benzoin/ lavender/ tangerine combo smells like incense to me. It’s all well blended, no note pops out at me, and I didn’t really detect the tangerine popping out like the orange in a Sun or anything. I do prefer herbal lavender scents, but this to me is more incense than herbal. This currently cost $36.75 and ounce.

What Would Love Do is a beautiful fragrance. It smells like a Lush shop, it’s sweet and citrusy. It has a note of lavender, but it’s nothing like Twilight, it’s not herbal at all. It’s a bit spicy as well, I think there’s a ginger note in it. But it’s very well blended, so it’s not overpowering. I think most people would enjoy this scent as it is simple, sweet and fun. The price is very good, but the sillage isn’t great at all. It’s not really strong and it stays on skin for about 30 minutes to 1 hour. I wish it was stronger. I’d give it 4/5.

This one is going to take more sampling for me to figure out what’s going on with it. It is an interesting combination, with the lavender and citrus dancing back and forth, but the benzoin in the dry down is a bit overpowering. There is something comforting and almost maternal about this fragrance.
