For a little while it smells exactly like marzipan on me! Usually I really hate marzipan, but here it’s kinda nice. Not too strong, not too deep.
Later it turns into a very sweet and airy vanilla scent. I think I like it.

This perfume reminds me of the smell of a LUSH store: creamy soaps, almond, gentle spices, orange flower. Very nice, original, foody and clean at the same time.

I bought this blind based on the description (and the 50% off sale last month!). And it is absolutely divine! I love anything with almond notes, and this one is no exception. The nutmeg really stands out too, making this very comforting. And in the middle, is just the slightest hint of floral. Wonderful staying power for me too:)
I can see this becoming one of my all time favorites! Now I’m wishing I had ordered others of her fragrances during the sale!

If you like the almont scented fragrances you won’t be disappointed with this as the centre of Joy is the almond. Neither the fruity almond in the Castelbajac, nor the clean almond flavouring in the Cara by Farmacia SS. Annunziata dal 1561, but the freshly baked almond cookie with a hint of vanilla. Gentle and delicious, this is a must try for fans of almond and vanilla.
