I love pear, and I like many Nest fragrances, but this smelled really funky to me. Just didn’t suit me, so I was relieved it was not long-lasting, either. I like the sleek bottle, but this is not for me.

Before buying any of these sealed nest fragrances that I saw at TJ Maxx, I first smelled the fragrances from the body lotions they also carried at TJ Maxx, not into blind buys until im really sure but this was not expensive and they let you return it if opened but to avoid the time and hassle, you can just take a whiff at the body lotions from nest which were the same respecting fragrance scents.
While most of them smelled feminine, none of them said “nice scent to wear” to me except for Moroccan Amber. It reminded me of the sweet burnt pastry and oriental incense of resin powder and amber that Hermessence Amber Narguile reminded me of. Except this was not $200 dollars as Hermes was. This was 12.99
Don’t mind spending $200 on something I really want but to spend said amount for yet another fragrance when you already own over 100 fragrances, I held back and opted for this Nest version. When I purchased the fragrance based on the lotions scent, I smelled it in the car when I left the store and man was it all so much better as a fragrance, since it was oils instead of the balmy and cold moisturizer scent of the lotion.
I wear it and people ask what am I wearing. It does dry close to the skin and its a scent that stays on the skin and not have much projection hence body spray (not eau de toilette or parfum folks) but Im ok with that. The scent lasts even if you shower if not scrubbing intentionally to remove. its great for romantic cuddle or with a female. Has that burnt pastry masculine smoke pipe man that baked sweets for his lady type of scent
😉 ladies will dig. Its the best scent out of the bunch and not just because its the most masculine out of the others. Its just the most pleasing and sophisticated that both sexes can enjoy. Wasabi pear I had more hopes for since its seemed unique. But better left as just a lotion not fragrance.

Whoa, this stuff is awesome! Blind bought it at a TJ Maxx for $12.99 and you definitely get a blast of pear and the wasabi! This is a very refreshing scent and will definitely wake you up!

I chose the Graprefruit over this one. I thought this smelled like a hair or body product.

I saw this at TJ Max this evening for $12.99 and had to go for the blind buy. i ripped the package open in the car and sprayed away. Big mistake! Right away I smelled a bit of pear and a lot of spicy wasabi. Am I the only one to smell green spicy wasabi? I was hoping the pear scent would intensify, but no. I smell a bit of non-sweet pear, spicy wasabi, and a watery vegetable smell. This is sadly not for me. So, back to TJ’s it goes.

I absolutely adore this!!! Fresh juicy mouthwatering pear, this scent is so refreshing and just smells like summer. It is quite linear, I get no wasabi note at all, which is quite alright with me.
I wore this one day and immediately grabbed 2 back up bottles and the body cream. Just lovely!

I smell mostly pear….I actually have the body cream which I bought at TJ Maxx, and the scent is pleasantly clean. I will say that the body cream is REALLY moisturizing and lovely.

I smell pure wasabi like in Jap restaurant, unfortunately no sushi coming))). There is a Strong chemical smell too that accompanies all Nests, Wasabi is not very appealing))). Of this line I only liked Bamboo, very green and light. Not very impressed with body creams of that line too.

Just like Elreno22, I just got this at Marshalls for 12.99. When I saw the price, I snapped it up immediately. It does not have a wasabi note at all. However, it is a clean, slightly sweet, aquatic pear scent;linear and pleasant. This will be ideal for the spring and summer.

I bought this today at Marshall’s at a great price ($12.95), and read the reviews beforehand. First impressions agree that this baby has lasting power. The only hint I have of wasabi seems like a fleeting alcohol flavor, which quickly air dries to a light floral pear fragrance. It is simple and uncomplicated. A little goes a long way. Don’t overspray, and don’t expect much besides simple syrup of pear and you will like this. The bottle is super simple too, and large and heavy and will last a really long time. Wish I had a few pear loving sisters to share it with. Good pear scent that lasts, right price = contentment.

My main deviation from the other reviews of Nest Wasabi Pear is that I am really aware of the wasabi. The first few seconds are overwhelming and very realistic pear…then it mellows and I sense what I think is the established “Nest” base, a sort of watery, slightly sweet vanilla and then, wham, Wasabi!
I like wasabi, but I miss the first hit of pear. On my skin this is a very soft, sweet wasabi with hints of pear.

    Nest: Wasabi Pear:
    Overall: 9.25/10
    Here’s Why:
Fresh, Juicy, Sumptuous, REALISTIC to the T, Refreshing Pear.
Singular, long lasting and mood lifting.
The word ‘Aura’ is used in the name and it is SPOT ON.
This is transporting stuff, relaxing, fresh and boy is it realistic!
Wasabi is undetectable, but the box explains that it is the ‘essence’ of wasabi… What I have taken from that description is that much like wasabi, the scent has a kick. Its not just a mellow pear scent, it is sharp and intense at first blast but after just a few moments, its melts onto the skin, tingling the nose for hours to come.
This lasts all day, much like a perfume would – longevity is nothing to scoff at here, 6+ hours.
Wearable for all occasions, but summer days make this gem a treat for the nose, body and soul.
    Great job Nest!
    Fans of Pear, rejoice!

I have been wearing (and tinkering with layering) this one for a couple weeks now, and I absolutely adore it! This is my first experience with Nest, and I am thoroughly impressed (especially considering this was a blind buy). I purchased the large bottle from HauteLook for a great price. That site has its share of junk, perfume or otherwise, but if you do your homework, it can be a fantastic resource for inexpensive fragrances, clothing, and so on.
As much as I love sushi, the “Wasabi” part of this fragrance made me a bit wary. Honestly, I don’t detect it. There may be a touch of warmth in the background that could be attributed to wasabi, but it certainly is not “spicy” smelling.
To me, this is a fresh, crisp pear in a bottle. Really, Nest hit the nail on the head. Very lifelike, incredibly refreshing. It’s delicate, but assertive enough to feel like a real “perfume”. I feel lovely, and quite feminine, when I wear it.
Perhaps it was my subconscious at work, but I did not connect my purchase of “Wasabi Pear” with my very fond memories of Bath & Body Works long-discontinued fragrance “Pearberry”. I wore that in the late 90s-early 2000s, in my late teens. I had “real” perfumes, too, but often reached for this affordable, school-friendly spray. (I wore Opium in 7th grade. I have always had strange tastes. Haha!) At any rate, this beautiful fragrance from Nest is my grown-up, refined version of the scent I loved as a teenager.
On me, the staying power is better than one might expect for a fruity scent like this – between 4-6 hours before I feel the need to spritz again.
Alone, this is a scent suited for warmer months. But layered with gourmands, for example, it becomes a yummy, cozy confection perfect for cold weather and holidays. I have been layering it with vanilla and mint, and the result is delicious – sexy, but comforting. The freshness of the pear still manages to soar, keeping the mix bright and clean. (I am picky about gourmands – they must feel complex, and well balanced. I do not care for linear fragrances, and even “layer” my candles and oils at home!)
I look forward to trying more from Nest, and will certainly be picking up backups of Wasabi Pear ASAP! <3 If you like fruity, fresh scents (especially pear or apple!), give this a try!

First spray: This is mouthwatering. An excellent example of how fruity scents should be done. This is such a delicious, fruity, candy scent, without being overtly sweet. Right out of the bottle it’s a blast of tart, and I mean tart, fruit. Is it pear? There’s nothing that distinctly screams pear to my nose, so I can’t say, but I know it’s pretty darn mouthwatering whatever fruit it is. And it pretty much stays the same scent from spray to dry down on my skin. It’s much louder right out of the bottle, then it as it dries it hugs the skin more. It reminds me of these fruit chews I used to love as a child, with thier tart, fruity, mouthwatering taste. Delicious.
Edit: After a week of wearing this everyday, I cannot believe that I did not notice the pear. It sings through in the purest way possible. This has got to be the holy grail for pear lovers, or just lovers of fruit in general. It’s the most natural smelling fruit fragrance I’ve had the privilage to smell. So lovely!!!

I purchased this for full price, and it’s great! If you love pears…
It’s a very crisp, juicy pear scent, with the wasabi kicking in just a bit to make it interestingly spicier – but not overly so. A refreshing, fruity and unique scent. Pear lovers, this one’s for you!
