Always a classic! This is one that I get consistently told “you smell so good!” It’s warm and cozy and reminds me of Fall. It’s very sweet but dries down clean. It’s like the comfort food of fragrances.I particularly love the body butter and eau de parfum version~ very rich and decadent.

Rice is very noticeable! I bought this frag partly because of that rice note, yet it failed to impress me… raw, unrinsed and screechy Uncle Ben’s rice (which technically, is not per se a rice genus)
I swear there’s some shea in the mix, it reminds me drugstore body lotion.
Vanilla is floral, actually, I feel more flowery notes would balance that juice out.
Definitely not foody – I don’t associate florals with blankety comfort scents.

Warm Vanilla Sugar will always be a staple in my collection. Warm, cozy, sweet, and sexy. Definitely a comfort scent.

This is a weird one. Sometimes I like it, then other times it just smells plasticy. I have the lotion and the body spray, but haven’t tried the EDT. It’s an inoffensive, warm vanilla that would be easy to layer.

Is it me, or did back in the day did this smell different? When I say “back in the day” I’m sure a lot of people will know what I mean… as in, early 2000s? Or it is my nose just becoming mature?
I recently got the body wash and lotion, sampled the spray and they all just had this vibe that I couldn’t pinpoint. It was a plasticky smell, but didn’t make me sick to my stomach. It’s like the difference between a nice room spray and a perfume… You know the difference just by what should and should not be put on humans…
Brown Vanilla Sugar used to be THE vanilla scent. It was everywhere, along with Cucumber Melon, Victoria’s Secret Dream Angels Heavenly, and Victoria’s Secret Love Spell.
So it’s 2018. I bought Brown Vanilla Sugar, and it had that “French vanilla” quality (a richer vanilla), but it was more like a French vanilla that had turned rancid.
Unfortunately I couldn’t wear it. It didn’t used to have any kind of alcohol stench or plastic vibe, but now it’s in the same class as a vanilla Glade spray that went on clearance due to low sales.
Sensual Amber had the same effect. I used to LOVE Sensual Amber.
You have to remember that you can’t take Bath & Body Works too seriously (anymore). They are supposed to be fun purchases now. Their products used to be special and higher quality. The store had class, the labels weren’t so loud. I think the formulas have changed over the years, probably to cheapen them down. They don’t have that special, sparkling quality like they used to have. I keep reviewing old favorites and I always seem to say the same thing… “The formula is changed, it’s for the worse”. If people read my reviews they’d think I was an eternal Negative Nancy. But I guess nothing stays the same!
So I just scrolled down just a little and there it is… I’m not the only one! Sad!

I really like this! It is sugary and powdery soft like icing on a cake. Smell is subtle which is to be expected of a body spray. I’m going to use this to layer probably. It’s definitely a comforting, gourmand vanilla. Initial spray reeks of alcohol but that dissipates quickly.

I typically hate B&BW products. I mean /hate/. Someone on the forums wrote that this smells like vanilla lip smackers and they were spot. fucking. on.
It’s a delightful cheapie. I personally really like it because it’s so simple so I can wear it every day and remind myself of being about ten begging my parents for their vanilla lip gloss. I’m secretly a child though, so it’s no surprise. There are little things that I do to make me happy and this is one of them (along with waiting until the holidays and buying frosting fragranced drugstore cheapies, particularly chapstick.) I don’t feel like a child wearing it though, it’s just pleasant. It’s not like wearing Prada’s candy gloss r anything else that yells “YOUTH! I AM REVELING IN NOSTALGIA FOR CHILDHOOD!” thank god. I can just sniff throughout the day and be comforted by the idea of my christmases when I’d get my lip smacker in my stocking. Oh bona bell, you’ve lost so many great flavors throughout your years! I wish that their cookie dough didn’t get discontinued, it’s all soda pop flavors now. 🙁

I have Warm Vanilla Sugar in the Shea body cream (which is a rather good & long lasting body moisturizer and my go to for dry winter skin). It is a light vanilla/amber/sweet scent with moderate longevity and silage. Nothing groundbreaking, but rather pleasant. It is excellent for layering under different fragrances. I am a nurse, and find it perfect to wear alone as a work scent (florals/heavy scents/silage monsters are no-go as they can bother patients)
It layers under all my Chanel perfumes wonderfully (Coco Mademoiselle, Coco, Coromandel, No 5 extrait)
……..I know Bath & Body Works + Chanel = sacrilege. But a little slumming is good for the soul.

Hmmmmm….not too bad. Typical Bath and Body Works formulation…generic..???….kinda. However, I like it!
I do get coconut…but not pina colada/suntan lotion coconut…more “toasted nutty-ish coconut, which is better IMO.Underneath I am getting a tad of “dirty” dry vanilla woody too….again, IMO.I got an older 1 oz edt on eBay so maybe it’s vintage…lol. I see other reviewers saying the newer one is water/alcohol-ish. I did get that typical alcohol zap at first, but it goes away fast.
It is an easy to wear, “simple” vanilla scent IMO. I have tried some other vanilla scents that are way higher priced and this one smells better than some of those.
Nice scent to have around when you are justhaving a lazy day at home…ect…ect…lol. Not bad at all…happy.
EDIT: I also enjoy the bodywash in this scent….!!

    Rice pudding. Vanilla. Whipped cream.
Makes you feel like a tease, walking around smelling edible.
One of those “I wear it for me” fragrances because I don’t spray enough to make a big sugar cloud around myself, although the temptation is sometimes there 🙂
Also, I am certain that this would beat Vanilla Lace in a steel cage match, just sayin’!

Very watery and alcohol …. back in the day it was stronger.

I own both the body cream and the perfume and as others have said it smells somewhat like vanilla baked goods. This is my go-to vanilla for layering. I seldom wear this by itself, but it’s fantastic for layering under other scents when I want to add or enhance a vanilla note.

  13. :

A very straightforward, no fuss or frills, Gourmand vanilla. It smells a bit like freshly baked sugar cookies. I received it as a gift and while it isn’t my favorite of its “type” it is nice. I actually use it often for layering because it works perfectly to add vanilla and sweetness to fragrances I feel are lacking that element! Overall, I’m happy to have it even if I don’t typically wear it by itself.

  14. :

This is so yummy! My favourite from BBW so far. It is a lot like Victoria’s Secret vanilla lace but actually better, it isn’t that kind of sticky vanilla it’s just edible and really appealing. Very nice

  15. :

    4 out of 5

Really wish I got all those cookies, warm sweetness and cozy sugar… Nope. The front runner for me is rice and something green. It’s like when you’re eating a vanilla cookie, and somehow a chunk of celery gets in your mouth. And you end up chewing them together. Alas. So make sure you try it on before purchasing. Turned out not being that “your unmistakable vanilla” kind of scent for me.

  16. :

this smell is such a classic! if you have another vanilla smell that just needs a kick extra of warmth, pick this up for layering! i love the shower products for winter becuse it is so so warm

  17. :

    4 out of 5

Smells like there’s been a reformulation. I received this when I was 13 and I remember a richer smelling vanilla. It was certainly a “warm” scent, too.
Now at 24, I can smell the plastic a few other members mentioned, similar to BBW’s Riceflower and Shea. Like play dough or baby doll heads (lol). Also I find that when 2-3 note fragrances contain coconut and vanilla, they kind of compete with each other and result in that plasticky note (such as Victoria’s Secret Coconut Passion).
So the bottle I had of this became a room spray instead of a body spray. Not my kind of vanilla, test this one out for yourself.

This is my favorite go to vanilla fragrance! easy when i don’t know which fragrance i want to wear. This perfume is perfect for every seasons. Day or night. Can also be layered with other perfumes. cozy and sweet.

I am a huge fan of vanilla and this is my all time favorite. I have tried Vanilla Lace by Victoria Secret, Vanilla by Body Fantasies and they are nice but this should be the standard for a soft, sexy adult vanilla. I have it in the body mist, lotion, cream, and shower gel and have been using it for years. It is unique and hard to describe. To my nose, it smells like a warm, cozy vanilla surrounded by toasted coconut and brown sugar. The coconut note makes it stand out from so many other vanilla fragrances on the market. It is marketed as a fall/winter scent but I use it all year around and get many compliments. It smells like a mix between a bakery scent and a delicious suntan lotion. There is a reason this has been a number one seller for years. It is a classic.

I’m not a huge fan of vanilla, but this is fine. I got it as a white elephant gift, so it could have been worse. I don’t ever really use this except for maybe Thanksgiving. It’s kind of bland. There isn’t a wow factor or anything.

The most plastic vanilla you can imagine. 🙁 Ugh

My favorite vanilla… a childhood blanket, a worn-in pair of jeans, the softest knitted sweater, an old robe with holes in it that you still wear anyway.
Warm Vanilla Sugar is very true to its name. A kitchen scent, lots of powdered sugar, and I agree with the reviewer below who said it smells like coffee cake. It does indeed have cakey aspect to it – but while I’m almost invariably nauseated by “buttercream” scents, this one is all soft, toasty whispers – the creamy nuttiness of steamed basmati rice (a little coconutty, yes!), a hint of musk, dusty sandalwood. Overall it’s a bit doughy, with its glutinous rice accord, yet retains the “sparkle” of crystallized sugar. What really makes this fragrance stand out for me is how beautifully and harmoniously it envelopes you in that soft, warm, sweet aura of scent. It never feels overwhelming – just comfortable and relaxing and it makes me smile.
As others have mentioned, longevity is below average, but I find it does well on clothing – and I think the body cream may even have better sillage alone, much less layered. I’d tend to think of it as a cold weather scent, except a couple of summers ago when my fiance and I were packing up our old apartment – with its malfunctioning air conditioning! – in the 100-degree Carolina heat, this was all I wanted to wear. I think it was the nostalgia of happy memories watching the winter snow from our upstairs windows while wearing this. Even so, it held up surprisingly well in the heat, too, and now for me it has particularly meaningful memories attached.
The EDT is certainly a fine choice at its low price, but since B&BW always has testers out, I might suggest trying the body cream and body mist layered, and seeing if that gives you a similar or better effect. Best of all is the body cream layered with the EDT, of course – all the warmth and comfort and sweetness, plus the assurance it will stick around for a while.

    Warm is right
This is a suitable December winter time fragrance to cozy up with.
It smells like delicious sugar cookies the kind kids leave on a table by the fireplace for Santa Claus!
It’s sweet and powdery, milky, vanilla, creamy, delicious and edible.
It smells just like they extracted all the yummy sugar and vanilla out of some dessert in a bakery shop.
This is also similar to coffee cake.
A sweet but subtle scent, unisex, youthful, girlish, teenager-ish but mature and so easy to wear.
It’s not offensive to anyone who will smell it on you. You can wear this when you’re at the office or at work and co workers will not mind.
This is such a yummy perfume. Every note is built around that vanilla cookie scent. I detect only a little coconut but it never gets tropical. Oh no it’s wintery.
Such a beautiful warm vanilla perfume
    Enjoy!

Beautiful, warm, cozy and sweet vanilla with a subtle touch of sandalwood. Reminds me of Vanilla&Sandalwood body spray from Avon, but that one is more sandalwoody and since I’m more of a sucker for vanilla, I definitely prefer WVS. It’s perfect for the very cold wintertime that I’m now surrounded by, but honestly, I’m going to wear the heck out of it no matter the season :~)

This smells just like Sugar Vanilla by Body Fantasies. Sugar Vanilla has a lot more alcohol on the initial spray, and they smell almost the same on the dry down, but Sugar Vanilla lasts longer IMO. I own and like them both and use them interchangeably. Sweet creamy vanilla with milky undertones.

This is what I’m wearing for Thanksgiving!
Bath & Body Works Warm Vanilla Sugar
First of all I want to thank Bath & Body Works especially Sarah the salesgirl at my local B&B store. She has shown me the way to the best smelling scents i.e. Tahiti Island Dream. I have the matching body lotion and when layered with the perfume after a shower when you’re fresh & clean, this stuff leaves your entire epidermis smelling sweet & delicious!
The dominant note is the vanilla.
This is a warm, creamy, cupcake gourmand vanilla or vanilla cake, like the inside of a cake that is made up of vanilla cream. It has that bakery aroma, like walking into a bakery filled with cookies and cupcakes. There are 3 notes of vanilla so they really threw in a lot of vanilla. It’s not heavy or overpowering nor headache inducing. The nose behind this fragrance knew where to draw the line. It does not smell too sweet, and true to it’s moniker it’s warm, sugary and vanilla scented, and comfortably penetrates your skin like a sun tan lotion.
This is a pretty well made skin scent so if you like those soft subtle vanilla scents, this is possibly the best out of all the Bath & Body Work vanilla fragrances. They specialize in that one note.
The scent contains a few floral notes, hard to make out, but it has a distinct heliotrope, quite powdery and it becomes just the tiniest bit musky-powdery. It dries down to a lovely powder but not baby powder. The note of rice intrigued me but I can’t make it out. It seems to be more like rice cake or a sweet rice & vanilla scented dessert, so don’t let that rice note make you think of Chinese food rice.
A lovely and long lasting fragrance.
    Sweet and pretty.
Highly recommended for winter time to keep you warm and smelling like delicious vanilla cream and cake. It is very pleasant and everyone loves it. I’m wearing it tomorrow to my family Thanksgiving dinner party in Nashville.
    Happy Thanksgiving y’all!

Anytime I smell this I’m reminded of being a kid and chasing vanilla body sprays so I could smell like cookies all day. I also remember being a rowdy teen dousing myself (and my clothes) with this juice to cover up the smell of cigarette smoke. Such a simple memory of such a weird, tumultuous time. And even though the vanilla itself smells completely fake (as always), it’s still comforting.
My taste in fragrance has evolved quite a bit since then, so I haven’t owned this in a long time, but a recent whiff of it brought me back to that memory.
As for the scent itself – it’s linear and super-sweet, like an artificially flavored cupcake. And while on the surface that might sound bad, I think for what this is, it performs very well. Long-lasting and strong – and oddly not overwhelming – this is just a blast of sugar and artificial gourmand vanilla – nothing more, nothing less. It was perfect for me when I was young and I hated floral scents, and I didn’t mind walking around smelling like donuts all day. If you’re looking for an inexpensive gift-set-fragrance for a young girl, this would be a good buy. It’s just easy to wear, even with it being so sweet.
On the other hand, if you’re more mature and looking for a luxurious, genuine, sophisticated vanilla, then I’d suggest you keep looking.

This is my first BBW purchase. I bought it since second year college, and I have used up two full size body mists and two minis since then. I’m currently on my third full size mist. My boyfriend loves it still on me, and we consider it my signature scent for almost my entire college life because my friends and classmates automatically recognize this scent as mine. No one else that I knew in the univ has used it except for me. This scent got my bf hooked on me haha xD I collect perfumes and body mists so a repurchase from me means a lot.

I love this when I want something simple and sweet, but a little darker. This isn’t a light vanilla scent, but more of a burnt brown sugar/coconut scent. Very lovely 🙂

Sweet and quite sugary. Smells like baked goods with whipped frosting.. delicious, warm, cozy. I wore this scent in high school. I still have a nostalgic appreciation for it, but I think it’s a bit too sweet/gourmand for me, now. For me the coconut is strong, which gives it a little more intrigue than you’d otherwise expect. Not bad, not bad at all!

  34. :

My younger sister passed this onto me, presumably because she didn’t like it that much.
I also wasn’t thrilled to have it. It didn’t really match my fragrance profile, but what the heck, it’s already with me, and it’s from my sister with love, so I wore it anyway.
What a pleasant surprise it has been. I have to admit that the first few times I tried it, the cloying vanilla assaulted my senses. But I still wore it. Why? Because it made me feel clean and fresh well into the day. It settled peacefully on me. The vanilla notes were rounded very nicely by the sandalwood and floral notes, so it didn’t really smell synthetic. It’s reliable because its soft, sweet, muted, and has very nice longevity — enough to get you through the day.
It certainly is warm vanilla. I probably won’t buy another bottle after it runs out, but it has piqued my interest in the area of floral / vanilla / creamy notes.

Im from Australia and I just brought the body mist version of this perfume for $25 and I think its extremely over rated. It definitely does smell vanilla-ery. But it does not remind me of “cupcakes” or a “bakery” scent. At first it has a very overpowering alcohol smell until it warms down. Then it smells like a vanilla cleaning product or toilet spray. I would not consider this an upper class scent. It’s very cheap (smelling) and is also very weak. It lasts up to about 10 minutes before you have to apply another twenty sprays for it to even have any kind of effect.

Body Mist Pairing With Body Lotion Review.
The body lotion is great, it doesn’t leaves you with that sticky feeling. It absorbs well into the skin.
This scent really hit the spot of my craving for vanilla scent. Previously been wearing vanilla lace by VS, forcing myself to like it even though the plasticky smells killing me every time I wear it.
But after I found this, oh forget the vanilla lace by VS. This warm vanilla sugar is like 3 times better than the vanilla lace. More better without the plasticky smells that screech my nose every time.
In my opinion it’s very creamy, delicious & sexy and it also has a pinch of similarities with Hypnotic Poison by Dior the creaminess and Amber romance by VS the dark sweet scent.
Better to be apply on the skin, the lotion & the mist. It makes your body smells sexy when you sweat.Trust me on this.
Its really true, what the legend says of how vanilla is truly a magical aphrodisiac. I have been wearing it 2 days now and it’s true men react more on vanilla scent comparing to women.
On the first day wearing this, i heard 2 men few steps behind me saying that my perfume smells really good and funny they don’t mention or saying anything about me wearing women’s perfume. Because in my country most men’s are not brave enough to experimenting with women’s perfume. So I guess men also can get away easily with this.
On the 2nd day,it’s the mail delivery boy. Commenting, mmm what is that wonderful smells ? Smells like the vanilla ice cream. He like it.
So yeah, men are more responsive to Vanilla scent. That’s the result. Longevity is pretty good 4-5 hours on clothes and sillage is average. But I don’t mind reapplying.
I just can’t get enough of this, hopefully someday the BBW would release the Eau De Parfume version. Because I just love this scent.

I own the “fragrance mist” version of Warm Vanilla Sugar. It requires a bit of overspraying to achieve a decent sillage and longevity. Other than that complaint, this is a lovely everyday scent.
I initially get a true “vanilla with melted brown sugar” aroma, which is joined what I can only describe as a “warm rice pudding accord” and a touch of coconut.
The sandalwood, musk and flowery notes appear in the drydown but do not overpower the gourmand nature of this delightful fragrance.
Warm Vanilla Sugar is a wonderful, simple perfume, not anything fancy or pretentious, but it is sensual in a comforting way.

Some time ago, I read about the creation of Warm Vanilla Sugar. I can’t find the article now. It was created by looking at popular notes in perfume at the time, trends in Europe and America. They were combined, and Warm Vanilla Sugar was born. I think it’s interesting that such a seemingly simple perfume, has a more complex story behind it.

  41. :

For a long time, i don’t know why but I thought this smelled like Pink Sugar…? *shrugs* I guess the sugary aspect was pretty similar.
It’s warm, like the name states. It smells a lot like a cinnamon bun, fresh out of the oven. It smells like….. warm cuddles with a spiced latte by the fire… It’s sugary sweet, but i feel as though it has a bit of depth. It’s not just straight up sugary vanilla. It has a character that kinda grows on you. It’s powdery, but like a confectioner’s sugar kind of powdery..
    I love this.

  42. :

So sweet! I think the scent of EDT is way better than body spray and lotion.

Back in my early high school days, a family friend’s daughter gave me warm vanilla sugar along with the matching lotion in a small transparent bag as a Christmas present, immediately the smell reminded me of sugar cookies, mmm…delicious. Unfortunately, the new reformulated version is worse. The silage was wonderful on the original, the new one, not as much, and the smell is synthetic. The quality went down on warm vanilla sugar along with others.

  44. :

    5 out of 5

I’m a male and I love vanilla scents so I bought this. I like it and will definitely give it some wear. It doesn’t smell feminine on my skin at all. It isn’t overly sweet which I was concerned about. Smells like Sugar cookies to me. Very nice and comforting.
It won’t be an everyday scent but something I’ll just wear from time to time thru the fall and winter. Not sure yet about the longevity on my skin as I’ve only tested it for a little while on my wrist. I know it’s not gonna project very much as it’s a very light fragrance on me.
I think this is more for the people who like simpler fragrances. It’s not complex and from what I can tell is pretty linear, which is fine. As long as you know that going in and like these type of scents, which I do.

I want the shower gel too!

I love this perfume- as soon as the weather starts to turn colder, I switch from my floral/fruity perfumes to this! It smells wonderful, and I’ve had many people compliment me on it. The only complaint I have is that it is not strong or long lasting enough to last through the day. I have the small body spray version on me nearly 24/7 though, so I reapply every couple of hours. Also, the new perfume smells different than the old version, and I like the old better, I must say.
This perfume will remind you of baking on a chilly snow day. I always am reminded of Christmas Eve, when it’s tradition to bake a plate of cookies to leave out for Santa Claus. Sure, it’s quite unsophisticated, but I love how the sugary sweet vanilla never fails to make me smile.

Smells sweet, warm and pleasant. I have positive feelings toward this scent. My sister loves the scent of vanilla so I purchased BBW Warm Vanilla Sugar body mist and gave it to her. She pairs it with the BBW WVS lotion. She wears it everyday and she smells great.
I won’t give my sister anything bad or stinky. 🙂

I have WVS from the late 90’s or early 2000’s. My bottle does not look like the current version. I’m guessing mine is vintage. I’m so glad. It appears there has been a reformulation and rice may have been removed. As I sit here today, smelling it, I think it’s one of the notes that makes this fragrance so classic and endearing.
This fragrance is a warm throw in front of a fire with the snow piled up outside. It’s a true hug. One you want to give yourself over to and never leave. I TRUST this fragrance. Never said that before! But I trust it to deliver to my mind, body and soul what comfort food does. Yes! WVS is like comfort food for your nose!!! 4/4 Stars I love it. As long as it doesn’t change it will remain in my collection. This fragrance is one mature and youthful women can share. I wear it whenever the mood strikes me, mostly fall and winter, but I reach for her at some point all year long. I wear it for myself, alone at home, to bed, for my husband to snuggle, I wear it out. As aromatherapy. I layer it with other fragrances. This fragrance in my collection is like a good pair of worn jeans. WVS is a multitasker.

Out of curiosity I decided to compare the notes from the version of Warm Vanilla Sugar listed here with the ones listed on Bath and Body Works website for the most current version. The ones listed now:
Top Notes: Intoxicating Vanilla, White Orchid
Mid Notes: Vanilla Tonka, Sparkling Sugar, Fresh Coconut, Fresh Jasmine
Dry Notes: Warm Vanilla Bean, Cocoa Bean, Creamy Sandalwood
Both versions smell nearly the same, but I do notice the missing rice note from the new version as compared to the older ones, and sometimes the newest version has a little bit of a burnt sugar smell every once in a while.
Still, WVS is a lovely vanilla. It took a while for it to grow on me, but I do really like it now. It’s perfect for a casual, stay at home, fuzzy sweatshirt, coffee, and good book kind of day. It’s very comforting. I only wear it in the fall and winter, though, and rarely when I’m going out and about. B&BW has had other vanillas I like more, but there’s a reason WVS is a classic that’s lasted on the shelves.

I so look forward to wearing this when the temperature turns cooler. A soft, warm, and comforting scent for fall and winter.
On my skin, it’s an uncomplicated vanilla with maybe a touch of sandalwood, which keeps it from becoming too sweet and too much of a cupcake scent. I don’t get any coconut or any of the other notes.
Longevity is great. Layered with the body lotion it lasts all day. Perfect for work or cuddling at night.
Warm vanilla sugar is one of the best vanilla scents I’ve tried. In my opinion, it’s right up there with the higher priced scents. If you love vanilla, I highly recommend this.

My favourite BBW fragrance… I think the perfect way to describe this fragrance is “soft”. The floral notes in this keep it from being a cupcakey vanilla smell like many other perfumes that smell cheap and synthetic.. I actually find this quite mature, but in a good way. It’s not too sweet, and the coconut is really subtle, and something about this is really addicting to me. I’ve been wearing this for about 7 hours now and I still get whiffs of it when I walk around, and it lasts on my clothes for days, which I can’t say is true for any of my other BBW scents.
(I would say the lotion version of this definitely smells more sweet/cupcake like than the perfume, and the body spray smells pretty much like this but with a bit more musk)
sidenote: I think this may be one of those that varies based on your skin chemistry, since others have found it to be too musky/weird

I wanted to love this as one of my favorite smells in general is the sweet-things-baking smell. But when I tried it on it quickly turned very musky and heavy, a little sickening. Maybe it’s available in a candle?
PS – a few years later – I think this is my daughter’s favorite BB&W scent. So it’s got a good home now.

I was so excited when I got my bottle of this ( I have the mist) but was so dissapointed when I tried it, don’t get me wrong this smells really good but I am a Vanilla lover and I thought this would be so full of that calming-sweet vanilla scent but in my skin it just smells weird, the sillage is so poor. Not what I was expecting I won’t purchase it again

Make warm vanilla sugar, not war. Oh my gosh, this screams of love!!! I totally dig this scent, it reminds me of all things that really warms the heart. Like when it’s raining outside and you’re at home with a good cup of coffee with a good book. Or when it’s Christmas and it’s cold outside, and your whole family is at home having a hearty dinner and laughing to your heart’s content. Or freshly baked cookies and a warm drink!

Nice and sweet, very very warm. I don’t get any powder out of this. I would call it a staple but I don’t think I’ve ever worn it on it’s own, it has always been one of my go to’s for layering, so far I’ve tried it with Reb’l Fleur, Dolce&Gabbana Pour Femme, Dior Addict, Oscar Fresh Vanilla, Pink Sugar, and several others. It never fails to add a warm softness and depth to any of my sweeter perfumes.

So so so warm smelling. It’s very vanilla-y complimented by the smell of brown sugar. It makes you feel like you’re drinking a cup of warm black vanilla tea.

LOVED the original scent from the late 90’s. However as several other reviews have noted that the newest formulation smells like burnt sugar, burnt plastic, or almost like Raid or bug spray, confirming
