When I first spray this, it reminds me of liquid pez candy scent. Specifically, it’s a dead ringer for the pink pez candies. This sweet sugary blast lasts for only the first 10-15 min. Then I agree with the other reviewer that compared this to a vintage 80s Pantene shampoo scent. I actually bought it because I also loved the original Pantene smell. I don’t care for the opening on this at all, but if you can get through it then this does develop into a lovely unobtrusive shampoo scent. I wear fragrances like this to work because I find they are less offensive. I do prefer the original walk on air, but this is still good and as I said if you’re looking for a work scent then this does well.

Ever have a perfume that is so good to your nose that you almost can’t stand it?
Like a pleasure that is too good to bear?
Yup. That is this perfume for me. It smells identical to Pantene shampoo from the 1980s until it was reformulated in 1999 to a peachy, sweet scent.
I mean identical. I loved the smell of the glorious, creamy, white shampoo with the simple white labels so much that I’d sniff it every time I went in the bathroom. I went through massive family sized bottles of it. Then it…changed. Cue screaming.
For years I fantasized about that stuff. I didn’t even have the slightest idea what notes it contained.
In December 2017 I went Christmas shopping at Ulta and of course I headed for the perfume area. Hmmm, what to try on? I applied the rollerball of this and didn’t expect much honestly. I am picky with department store scents.
In the car I smelled something amazing and nostalgic. It was my wrist! I figured it out upon getting a sample and now I desperately need a 3.4 bottle or 3. Yes, it’s discontinued. Ahhh, that creamy, deep, clean floral of yesteryear. I think of The Spice Girls, smoky college parties, flirtatious smiles, and my youth. Extraordinary scent to me. Never imagined I’d find an exact dupe to Pantene OG!

I have a sample and can give this a proper review. For the first hour, this is a strong bergamot scent. Very citrus, wakes you up. After that dies down a bit, the magnolia comes forward. I would call Walk On Air Sunshine a magnolia scent, it reminds me of a lower price point version of Eau d’Italie Magnolia Romana. (Not quite as nuanced though) I have a cyclamen plant blooming on my desk at work and every now and then I catch a hint of that delicate leafy cyclamen smell in here too. People who like clean shampoo-esque fragrances would probably like Walk On Air Sunshine. Magnolia is one of three perfume notes that remind me of freshly shampooed hair. (Freesia and peony being the others)

This is exactly what it says “sunshine” it’s impossible to have a bad day wearing his! It is quite citrusy and sweet as well. Love the scent, just wish it projected better.

This fragrance is bright and lovely. I like it the best of the Walk on Air fragrances. I have sampled it and am delighted to see it on Fragrantica.
