Description
Lost in translation: Volkamaria. The work on this original recipe was quite a challenge, as it was not clear initially what the name stood for.
Extensive research revealed Volkamaria to be the Austrian name for the tropical flower Volcameria, also known as Clerodendron Fragrans. WienerBlut acquired and cultivated specimens of this plant before actually deconstructing and rebuilding the original recipe.
Volkamaria by WienerBlut is a sublime floral accord with fresh top notes of bergamot and green mandarine, followed by warm Moroccan rose shining through a thick, almost raw iris heart. With a base of tonka beans and white woods, the overall effect created is what WienerBlut calls „exciting softness“.
Volkamaria was launched in 2012. The nose behind this fragrance is Pierre-Constantin Guéros.

I don’t understand why there’s not yet any review of this wonderful scent! It’s very similar to Lipstick rose of Frederic Malle and even better if you want a rose-violet scent for everyday! I wish it was easier to buy it !
