Description

Selena Gomez presented her first fragrance last year, created based on suggestions by her fans. Together they chose the three main ingredients that would characterize her first fragrance called Selena Gomez Eau de Parfum. The notes selected for the first fragrance were top notes of raspberry, freesia flowers in the heart, while vanilla was dominant in the base. This year, Selena continues the fragrant story with her second perfume, VIVAMORE, that comes in the same bottle shape with a bouquet of pearly white and golden lips on the cap. The body of the glass bottle resembles an elegant evening dress, for this edition colored in an ice-white shade.

The composition of the new perfume Vivamore is based on a floral bouquet of elegant calla lily, refreshed with white tea and juicy melon, on a base of soft and sensual Tahitian vanilla subtly sweetened with caramelized sugar. The fragrance is described as foamy, intoxicating and extremely floral, created as the embodiment of the philosophy that we should live life and love more. Exoticism and elegance are reflected in the selected bouquet of calla lily flowers that perfectly fits this “white” edition. An invigorating feeling comes from juicy melon and tea, and a celebration of life and love is reflected in the embrace of vanilla and sweet sugary chords.
Vivamore was launched in 2013.

A light,Fresh scent.long lasting.Smells like a sweeter less intense version of Aqua Di Gioia for women, without the lemon top note.

I believe this has been discontinued but can be had on eBay for an exorbitant price. The melon scent dissipates after half an hour then the creamy vanilla and sugar come through before disappear after about 6 hours leaving another faint melon note. It’s a fun, delicious and youthful scent. The bottle is tall white pearlescent, I read it is inspired by one of her sweeping evening gown. It is quite pretty in real life but be gentle with the cap as the wires are so easily bent

I think Vivamore is a really beautiful, simple fragrance. I was so excited to receive this in the mail and couldn’t wait to smell it! On me, I can smell fresh, creamy, sweet melon pretty much the entire time, which I quite like.
When I first spray this, I get a citrusy, cleaner type of smell, which I’m not particularly fond of and it unfortunately kind of reminds me of watermelon bathroom cleaner. However, this doesn’t seem to last too long, and the fragrance goes into a more sweet, creamy, honeydew melon scent that I enjoy. This is what I smell the most and for the longest amount of time. After that, I can smell a tiny bit of the lily in there, and this part of the perfume reminds me of an aloe scent, a high end sunscreen, or a nice day at the beach. It kind of reminds me of a classy, elegant woman who just got home from the beach, put on some freshly washed clothes and is on her way to an expensive salon or spa. I like this part of the perfume the most.
Vivamore becomes more and more sugary and sweet as time goes on. The melon mixes nicely with the vanilla and sugar and turns very warm on the skin until it slowly fades out.
Personally, I wish I could detect the lily more. It smells beautiful when I can actually smell it, but is too short lived. I also wish it projected a little more and was a little more noticeable.
Overall, I am enjoying this new perfume of mine! It’s fresh, fun, sweet, clean, and reminds me of a relaxing spa day where the spa overlooks the beach. Just beautiful.

I got a sample of it as I was curious of the young celebrity fragrance. I must say that on first opening it was pure D&G Light Blue on my skin. Then the notes turned into cucumberish smell as opposed to citrus like in D&G LB. I liked it, but not loved it. Very inoffensive, pleasant smell. Gave the sample away to a person in love with Light Blue, and she loved Vivamore as well. Obviously.

a little bit like a time machine – i smell like i just washed my hair with Agree shampoo (the green one) and used B&BW Cucumber Melon lotion.

Sugary melon, nothing else. It’s like Britney’s Island Fantasy, with another kind of melon (green or yellow). It has a bubblegummy vibe too. Nothing groundbreaking, but I thought Selena would make a more mature fragrance and won’t stand in the celebrity line.

Very classy, sweet, and unusual…just like Selena! Bravo!!

The concept sounds interesting – cool, watery top over a warm, sugary base – but didn’t work for me. Instead of adding depth to the top and lift to the base just kind of smelled like a mishmash that didn’t know what it wanted to do. Like some other less expensive perfumes has a synthetic, liquid hand soap quality. On the other hand, both my co-workers loved it and wanted to know what it was so take that as you will. I don’t consider this a scrubber but I won’t be adding it to my wardrobe.

“Vivamore” is a very pretty summer fragrance. I was quite surprised that its only composed of five notes. I get the sweetness and the green scents loud and clear. The vanilla is at the dry down of course, and I couldn’t discern the melon at all, unless it was melded into all that Tahitian lily and white tea goodness.
The sillage is quite moderate, it stands up well with heat and the longevity is great but after the first four hours it becomes more of a clean bright skin scent. Works well in warm weather and with sweat and I like that. Quite a light, lovely perfume. Congratulations!

Vivamore is a very light and pretty summer fragrance! It reminds me of a discontinued Maurice’s fragrance called MyLui. I thought I smelled pineapple in this with white flowers, but maybe it was melon…I don’t know, but this is very feminine…and not sharp or cloying at all for me! Good scent for every day in the warmer months.

So fresh and clean and wonderful. Definitely one of the more unique fragrances but in a good way. I usually like super sweet gourmands but I really enjoyed this. I smell yummy melon and white tea which is calming and nice. It has the perfect amount of sweetness. It lasts a good amount of time too.

Mmmmm…Melony gorgeousness with a creamy base. I was lucky enough to win this in a giveaway (along with lots of other lovely goodies..) from CaledonianChic77. I wore it last night and every time I took a sniff of it, it took me back to my late teens and spending long summer days on the beach near where I live..not that I had a perfume that smelt like this back then, but just something about it, in that way that scent evokes a fleeting “feeling”of a memory.. Love it.

This is delightful. Based on a sample I was surprised that it landed decisively on my ‘definite buy’ list – and no regrets.
It opens quite fruity (almost exactly like Vera Wang’s Princess Night, if you happen to know that one), then settles into a soft, creamy, flowery-fruity-fresh scent that’s sweet but not too sweet. Vanilla is there too, but subtle.
Even though after a while I can’t smell it strongly on my wrists (or at all!) I keep getting wafts of feminine fragrance from somewhere, for many hours. Others can also smell it emanating from me. No idea how that works!
I must say, I rather enjoy sweet ‘arm-sniffer’ fragrances. This is definitely not one of those, but offers other benefits. It’s a feminine Spring-Summer ‘everyday’ scent with good sillage and longevity. Also my man always comments favourably when this is in the air.

I was with my girls trying different perfumes, which, weren’t really different. So many smelled the same! This one, however, stood apart. It opened up with a soft watermelon, but not too sweet in a tween-age perfume way. The spun sugar was definitely there too, and became more noticeable during the dry down, as the the watermelon notes faded a little.
Fresh, aqua, watermelon, and a bit of spun sugar, summer-time, ocean side smells. Nothing overpowering yet lasts a long time. A nice fresh perfume for a hot summer night out.

I watched a review of this perfume on Youtube by Fragaholic, my guilty pleasure. I usually don’t care if a fragrance is celebrity or not, but lately, I have been shying away from celebrity frags and expanding my nose to design houses and niche perfume houses, but Fragaholic’s review made me buy a bottle of this.
First impressions: I think the bottle is unique and adorable. It makes the inner little girl in me shriek with excitement. I love that it stands out among my ever growing collection of perfumes. It looks like an oak tree shading my Dior J’Adore L’or bottle. Anyways, the juice inside is quite lovely. It is sweet, but not suffocating. It’s a gentle perfume. On first sniff, you are immersed in juicy melon. It’s more of a cucumber melon. It’s very fresh. It mixes well with the white tea. The spun sugar and Tahitian vanilla are there at the beginning, but only as a backdrop. This is a very airy perfume, not at all intense. As the fragrance downs down, the spun sugar and vanilla take over but ever so subtle. The longevity of this perfume is fabulous. It’s a perfume that is easy to wear for those casual laid back days. It has a summer vibe to it. This perfume does border on an impulse body spray, but it has enough ump to be little something more.
I recommend this perfume for a young adult person, but this scent is very approachable at any age. For adults, this is a great for the office or in close quarters with people. It doesn’t have sillage that is overwhelming, though when I am near my boyfriend, he moves in closer because he loves the sweet scent. Also, the price is quite reasonable, but I have seen it rise in the past couple of months.

This is a better version of island fantasy. Island has a harsh note all the way through the scent but this doesn’t, where island fantasy is harsh this is creamy so much much better. They do smell the same only this is creamy & more enjoyable to my nose

I can describe this fragrance in three words….. “Fresh but sweet.”

  22. :

    3 out of 5

The word that best describes this fragrance (for me) is “inoffensive.” Pretty much every aspect of it. Normally when I spray a perfume – no matter which one – the alcohol in them will make me sneeze at least 3 times. Always. It doesn’t matter if it’s my absolute favorite or not. This one, however, I didn’t even get a tickle. It sprayed “clean,” if that makes sense. It didn’t assault my nose as it went on. Which was amazing to experience for once! Scent-wise, I was a little scared when I opened it, because it had a faint smell that reminded me of Selena’s 1st fragrance, which I didn’t like. But after spraying it, the melon definitely stuck out to me. It is not an overly-sweet watermelon (think watermelon candy), it’s more of a clean watermelon (think watermelon flavored drinks). A little more on the sour than sweet side. But again! It’s just inoffensive. I can hardly smell it on me, I get little whiffs here and there, but the smell of the hyacinths on my desk at work are more powerful than the smell of the perfume on my body. It’s not too sweet, not too spicy, just pleasant. Also, it did not give me a headache, which is the other “inoffensive” part. It’s not heavy enough to get in my head too much. My most recent favorite – Mariah Carey’s “Dreams” – gives me a headache even tho I LOVE the smell of it. I can still smell this in the crook of my elbow and it’s been over 8 hours. It now has more of a sweet watermelon smell to it. Overall, it makes for a great “everyday” fragrance!

  23. :

Nice. Fresh, clean & sweet. But the drawcard for me initially was the spun sugar note which I don’t smell. Still, nice perfume.

  24. :

VERY impressive fragrance! Smells like NOTHING else! Very soothing and exotic. It has some citrus and it is sweet, but it is less sweet than her previous fragrance. It has a clean smell throught the duration of it that seperates it from the rest of the celebrity fragrances.
Has amazing sillage and staying power. Overall, amazing fragrance.

  25. :

🙂 🙂 This perfume has very good blend of creamy and citrus. It’s very pleasant and addicting. It’s a sweet perfume, but the nice, juicy citrus through the beginning till the end is the most memorable character. Although citrus note is not listed in the notes, it’s very noticeable. The scent doesn’t develop much on me. I smelled sweet fruits, citrus, lily and sugary vanilla all together from the first second it touched my skin till 4 hours later. But I don’t care since the scent is amazing to begin with. This is a real step-up from her first perfume. I did not expect to be impressed by this one so much since her previous perfume smelled like cough syrup to me.
It doesn’t have much complexity. It’s just simple and yummy. I give it 8/10. 🙂 🙂

    Warm cucumber
That is what comes to mind whenever I wear this scent. I actually really enjoy this perfume, I think it’s great for those easy going days where you just want something to throw on, and not have to think about it to much.
Defiantly not a “Night on the town” fragrance, but non the less comes in handy all the time

Melon? Don’t know … Cucumber – yes. And it overpowers all the other notes. Not one of my favorite notes.

  29. :

    3 out of 5

I don’t know why but this perfume reminds me of L’occitane Calanques. Probably because both is aquatic scent. I love the top notes so much. It is not heavy and nauseating scent, more to the calming side. Just like calanques but with sweet notes (the melon). Long lasting too! Now I really want to try her first one, since people said it’s sweeter than this one, and I love that kind of perfume!

based on all the reviews here, I was expecting Vivamore to be more pleasant smelling than the original Selena Gomez fragrant. It didn’t go that way with me. I guess I am the minority here. Although Vivamore is not a repulsive fragrant, there is more of a chemical smell to it than SG perfume. I can’t pin point what it is. Maybe it’s the ozone top note that gives it a bitter taste detergent soap like quality. It is more sophisicated matured perfumey type of smell. Not old, just more matured than Selena’ first perfume. It is not a foodie gourmand. I don’t smell any melon. More chemicals , floral, herbals (tea) combination with a slight creamy base. If you like to smell like tea, grass, or botanical greens, go for it! As for me, this fragrant makes me nauseous for some reason.

  31. :

    5 out of 5

This perfume is probably the worse thing I have ever smelt. the vanilla and sugar are way too over powering mixing with a fake lemonade and melon kind of scent. it turns into a sweet earthy smell coming from the tea and disappears after an hour. not impressed haha

  32. :

    4 out of 5

Reading the notes here is like going through a checklist. Melon, check. Carmelized sugar, check. You can smell them all. This is a very simple, light, fresh fragrance. Despite the inclusion of sugar, it is not that sweet. I am not a fan of heavy doses of melon in any fragrance, but I do like it here. The melon is accentuated by sugar, not doused in it. I find this so much better than her first fragrance. They are truly nothing alike.

This is really basic, but pleasant. To me, it’s very similar to Bath & Body Works Cucumber Melon– which makes me sick after OD-ing on it in high school and later working at B&BW. I do get the drydown of tea and vanilla, which I like… But it’s just too basic. Melon tea. Would make a lovely room freshner/scent. I may have to try that! It did last about 2+ days on fabric. Very light and summery, I will wear it. I got a 3.4 bottle for $20 on ebay, new in the box.

  34. :

    3 out of 5

I really wanted to like this, because it has almost everything I love, all in one big tacky bottle: Aquatic, ozonic, fresh, sweet, vanilla, yum! But on my skin, it was super sugary sweet melon overload, and it hasn’t really changed at all over the past 5 hours I’ve been wearing it. I was just hoping to smell more tea and vanilla. Though it does have a certain creaminess which must be the vanilla coming through.
I’m not sure what it is about this perfume that I don’t like. I guess you could say I find it a little boring. Just the same sugary melon-ness for hours. It’s missing something. I’m not sure what, but needs another note to balance out the sweetness and give it a little bit of an interesting kick.
Overall, it’s not a bad smell, I love melon really, but it’s too sweet and linear. I’m going to try this one out again later in the year to see if I’ve changed my mind, the notes just look too good to me to give up on it already!

  35. :

I don’t know who the hell Selena Gomez is, but this fragrance smells so good!! It reminds me of mouth watering pear and cantaloupe mixed with vanilla. When you first spray Vivamore, you get a beautiful sweet, mouth watering melon scent. I think of cantaloupe, honeydew and watermelon combined. Then as it settles into the skin, the floral notes of Calla Lily/freesia begins to come through, along with the vanilla. This would be a beautiful fragrance for the spring or summer. I don’t know how it would wear in winter though. It’s a unique smell, for a celeb fragrance. Nothing I’ve never smelled before. If your not one for sweet mouth watering melon/vanilla fragrances, then I’d pass on this one. The notes above mention, green, aquatic, ozonic, and raspberry, however, I do not detect any of these notes whatsoever in this fragrance. I have not smelled her first fragrance, but smelling Vivamore, is now making me curious to try out her first fragrance and give my opinion. I’m glad I purchased this scent. I think this will become my signature summer scent.

Finally something different than a Flowerbomb sister scent from a Celebrity. I like those but there are so many already. This is actually very nice. It’s a beautiful, soft, fresh, sweet but not in a cloying way, youthful, non offensive floral. I’m not really into florals but this is very well done. It’s a great floral for women like me that are not really into florals or consider them too mature or old.

  37. :

So Selena probably should have made this her self named debut. Its okay though I like keeping this secret. This opens off with the most fresh delish honeydew scent that you can’t think of from your preteen days such as body fantasies or calgon along with white tea. I got worried that white smelled the same as green but it’s so much softer and does not overwhelm the scent. This reminds me of a modern day estee lauder pleasures. Just on the feeling alone you get from this scent. Fresh free beautiful. Screams springtime!! It just hit me…it also is a melonful Davidoff cool water!! Love it.

Vivamore by Selena Gomez is the second scent from the Disney channel beauty. The new box is a teal / turquoise color with the white sketch of the bottle on the front. The bottle is the same as the original but this time it is a long elegant white dress design. The cap is rose gold with a bouquet of pearl white and rose gold ‘lip balloons’. The actual scent that is inside the bottle is different from what i expected from Selena it smells like milky melon tea with a floral vanilla hint in the dry down.
This perfume gets a 9/10 form me 🙂

  40. :

    4 out of 5

Although this is a good smelling fragrance, it’s nothing special nor unique. At first spray, you get a creamy melon. The creaminess being from the tea. It basically only has two stages. Top and base. I get absolutely no floral in the fragrance. Just the melon and tea. Once it dries down you do get the vanilla and spun sugar, but still, it’s barely there. This fragrance does sort of have a longevity problem, but not a silage one until it dries to the base.
However, I would recommend this fragrance!

  41. :

So I am in my mid 20’s and I am not a Selena Gomez fan and I imagine not her key demographic. However I was walking through sears the other day and smelled this fragrance someone had recently sprayed, I asked what it was and when the person who worked there showed me this bottle I was kinda shocked. It is actually a really lovely scent and it is even on the mature-ish side. I mean don’t get me wrong it doesn’t smell like old lady perfume but it also doesn’t smell sickly sweet like most tween fragrances. It’s a pretty, juicy, daytime scent and its unique it doesn’t smell like every other fruity scent on the market.

  42. :

Omg this is AMAZING like a cup of milky melon tea, sweet and creamy yet fresh and light.Better than her 1st one for sure!!!!!!! So in love…another successful blind buy 🙂

  43. :

    3 out of 5

oh-so-much melon!!!! like a melon snow cone. actually, it isn’t a huge throw from her original. this one is more ‘mature’ – less sweet, more watery, but that nutty coconut note is still detectable in this one (even though it isn’t listed)
longevity is somewhat non-existent. i drenched myself in this 2 hours ago, and can only detect a trace of it now.

  44. :

    3 out of 5

I don’t know if anyone gets a chocolate note, a white chocolate note, but I do and it follows all the way down to the vanilla base. I know it is not mentioned, but I smell it. I can smell the pink lemonade, the vanilla, melon, and spun (caramel) sugar. It is so different from anything I have. You could call this a fruity floral, but melon with Calla lily is an unusual combination. The melon is fresh and clean without being drippy sweet. It sits closer to the skin and there is something so comforting about it. I dont’ know, is there something like a fru-mond? Her first one was berry jasmine with a tad bit of coconut, a little sweet. This is something special and I am glad I purchased the 3.4 oz, even though the lips are still in the box. I don’t mind the white bottle on the dresser, but the Salvadore Dali lips are a bit too much for even my inner child. I will giver Selena points for trying something different. This is wonderful and I look forward to her next effort. Because of the carmel, vanilla and chocolate notes you can definitely wear this through autumn, maybe a bit light for winter. YOu will probably either love or dislike, I don’t know that there’s a middle ground with this one. I would love to know the nose behind this, though. Worth a try.

This one…I “LOVE”. No other words. SO happily surprised how it smells on me. I bought it because I loved her first fragrance, and this one just hit’s it. Something so different about it. Never have I smelt anything like it, and actually cannot even compare a single NOTE to anything else. I noticed how it says has notes of juicy melon. BOY does it ever. Simply put..this is a bottle FULL of melon, and grass. No other way around it. Almost sick how heavy it can lay on you, but VERY fresh at same time if you can tolerate it. I have yet to recieve any “compliments” on it. But I personally love the scent. Out of 5 I give this a 5!

Here we go again for round two. I got a really good deal on this. This is my favorite perfume of 2013. I wish this perfume was promoted more. They don’t sell this at the Macy’s store where I live. I’m still waiting for a body lotion of this, I know it would be great. I really love this smell, I can smell the pink lemonade, the vanilla, melon, and spun sugar so far. I’m glad this is different from her first one, which is my favorite perfume, and vivamore is a close second. I can’t wait for what she does next. I know she didn’t really support this perfume like her first, because of the problems with id perfumes, such a shame, I really hope it gets worked out. This is a must have perfume, especially if you liked her first one, and you want something different. I think this is great for fall.

So I just got it a week ago at shoppers drug mart($20 for 50ml,which is such a good deal)in Canada and it smells lovely!!!!!!!
At first, I smell melon and tea (mostly melon)and after two hour or so it dries down to sweet(vanilla, cotton candy) melon, which is just right!!! Great for spring, summer and fall use.(might be too light for winter though)
Anyways, I loves it and recommend anyone to try it out>_
Actually, I like this one more than the first one(the purple one)

i wasn’t sure about it but it is amazing, the bottle i think is adorable, might have been a little tacky in the purple but in white, it’s cute!
it smells like melon tea and pink lemonade kind of or like a the passiontea lemonade at starbucks!
it dries down to a very sweet vanilla-sugery smell which is awesome 🙂

It’s smell like a cup of melon tea in a top note. After 5 minutes it’s smell like a real cotton candy. Yep I really really want to buy it but I’m saving money for my Thailand trip
