Description

Just before the upcoming holidays, Juicy Couture is launching their new fragrance which fits among holiday editions perfectly, thanks to its composition and flacon design. Successor of the fragrance Viva La Juicy from 2008 comes in glamorous and glittery pink flacon with a tulle ribbon on the neck of the bottle and pink gold pendant.

Couture flacon that announces that the party has begun hides a new composition characteristic for its Italian mandarin and Williams pear zests in which jasmine petals are bathing. Top notes of flowers and fruit are succeeded by rich floral heart created of centifolia rose absolute, sambac jasmine and while peony, while powdery shades of orris absolute, benzoin and ambroxan linger in drydown. The fragrance is aimed at modern girls who see the world through pink glasses and enjoy pink, glamorous and glittery dresses.

Viva La Juicy Rose will be available in global sales in the amounts of 30, 50 and 100ml Eau de Parfum, starting from December 14th 2015.

I repurchased this perfume for 2 times already. The very first time I bought this perfume is on March 2016. I tried to spray this perfume on my arm and I didnt like it at first, but.. after i roam around for about 5 minutes I try to smell my arm and Man… I instantly bought the perfume. It is so sexy, pure seduction and very feminine. It has a lil bit of soapy vibe but in a good way. Very refreshing for summer heat in afternoon and very glamourous in nights kind of scent. It also reminds me of party life and rose champagne.. very mouthwatering. Its fruity, floral, sweet, fresh, sexy all at once. The bottle itself is undeniable eyecatching, super gorgeous and looks expensive. I am not a big fan and hate rose scent because most of them smells like grown up mature women/ grandma kind of scent but this one is exceptional. Definitely an easy top 5 favorite list perfume of mine!

Love roses and love this scent. Feel amazing when I’m wearing it! Furthermore I love the bottle. Travels well because it’s so solid.

My favorite viva la Juicy, I love noir so much over the original because of the extra fruits, but this… This is gorgeous the rose is not powdery or sharp, is soft and sweet! I hate rose scents but this is absolutely stunning perfect balance of rose and sweetness, can smell some fruit here and there, and the other flower notes ride in the back peacefully. I received compliments.

This is a stronger viva la juicy noir with rose on top + some detergent vibes in a good sense. The rose gives the original noir a little bit more character. Smells very nice, young and clean. Especially the first 10 minutes. I’m a man and it smells very feminine and sexy to me. It opens up with a fruity juicy bomb, after 3 minutes the rose kicks in and after 10 minutes it starts to sometimes remind me of a scent that I don’t want to be remembered of.
It smells like those fresh toilet sprays that you’d spray after you shat so it wouldn’t stink in your toilet. But then the smell would get mixed with the shit smell. Exactly like one of these sprays. Man I really loved it before it changed its character to a similar one like a toilet spray. Fortunately though the formula is deep enough that I can’t catch that vibe on every sniff.
Still overall a very good fragrance and definitely a better viva la juicy one.

I love this scent of perfume. It is fresh, soft, sparkling, sweet, rosey perfume. I dont know how to describe it more. But i love it so much.

Using up and reviewing samples…. this one is pretty. Nothing spectacular but I will enjoy using the samples I have.
First spray is harsh and sharp, not enjoyable. But then…it is girly and sparkly and pretty. Much fresher than most in this line, but still sweet, no green notes here. The rose is decent, the pear gives it a sweet kick. Nothing mature or matronly whatsoever about this rose! Wish it kind of went somewhere warmer in the base, there isn’t much depth to this at all.
For me, not FB worthy at all. I love rose but I have better, more interesting rose fragrances already. If I stumbled on this at a bargain, I would probably buy it but it’s not something I will actively look for or anything.

A lovely representative at Dillard’s allowed me to take a sample of this home, because I’ve been wanting to try this perfume for a long time.
This fragrance smells floral and fresh, but I don’t get as much rose as I do pear or peony. Viva la Juicy Rose is pretty and surprisingly mild compared to JC’s other fragrances, but I can’t say I’m a fan of this one! Definitely not the worst rose I’ve sampled but there’s something left to be desired in this one. It kind of reminds me of floral perfumes like Bombshell by VS or Tabu Rose, especially because of the amber-y base.

This is the rose perfume for those who want to try a rose scent, but are wary of those super strong, sweet and cloying rose perfumes. This is a mild rose that is mixed with a fruitiness that is pleasing to the nose. It isn’t overly sweet or strong and this perfume can be worn during the day, unlike a lot of those strong, rose perfumes. I’m not a big fan of rose, but I do love this one and it doesn’t give me a headache at all.

Now let me start by saying that I am not into floral perfumes. Not one bit. But I like Viva la Juicy Rose, to a point. There is enough mixture of fruity notes to offset the heavy floral presence. The downside of this perfume is it has zero staying power. I can no longer smell the perfume two hours after application, which is unfortunate since I could wear the dry down all day and be very happy. Viva la Juicy Rose starts out fruity and sweet, then goes into a heavy, yet beautiful floral presence before moving to the simplicity of a powdery floral as it fades away. While this perfume doesn’t last, it owns whoever wears it for its short life. Viva la Juicy Rose walks into the room 10 minutes before you do and takes command.
In my opinion this is a perfume you don’t buy blind. Either get a sample or go to a store and spray a LITTLE on. Not because it isn’t beautiful, but you don’t know how your body is going to react to this scent. I would caution those who are sensitive to scents, be careful with this perfume. Those middle notes are strong and present and while I like this perfume it did cause a pretty bad headache on me. Even as a migraine sufferer that is rare since scents aren’t one of my triggers. All I’m saying is drive this beauty with care.

A beautiful, radiant, sparkling and happy fragrance. An exceptional rose scent. It is feminine, modern and flirty, yet classy. I like it very much

My favorite one from JC Viva La Juicy line. Beautiful rose but not overpowering. It smells sexy, attractive and stylish, NOT girlish at all. I’m feeling pretty, energetic and happy, knowing for sure that I’m smelling good. Who cares about negative critics? I love what I love and what works for me and on me. Lol. Any female can pull this one off in my opinion 🙂
I found a set of perfume bottle 3.4 oz with a duo rollerball at Marshalls for $30 plus tax (clearance sale). Yay 🙂

  12. :

Not a fan of this juicy perfume. Too strong in florals for me. If you don’t like scent of strong flowers then you will not be a fan. Too strong.

  13. :

this is the one rose scent i love 🙂 thats becuase it doesnt scream rose lol………its a girly sweet pink floral blend………i detect a little rose but the jasmine in it maybe it makes the rose less loud lol im not sure because i am not a nose expert lol but it works 🙂 and the orris of coarse makes it nice & powdery………this is perfect & i love that its light……….even tho i love strong florals i do have a place for the light side 🙂 and the bottle is adorable………this is for a sparkly pink all that glitters type of gal 🙂

There is cold note similar as other VLJ. This is soft, warm, sweeeet rose. I can sense green note. There is something that for me seems rotten. For some reason I can sense Lilly of valley or it’s something similar to it… maybe it’s weird pear mix. I like and dislike this perfume.

  15. :

    5 out of 5

I guess I’m in the minority with this one.
The bottle is so very lovely. On paper it smells pleasant enough, almost like champagne, with a dominant (though not overwhelming) rose.
All I can smell on my skin is synthetic orange, which calls to mind baby aspirin and moldy orange peel. A lot like Clinique Happy. And underneath that…gin? How? I don’t want to smell like gin without the benefit of drinking it. 😉
If you love this, don’t take it personally…it seems to be something in my own personal chemistry. Orange and I rarely get along.
Eventually it did dry down to a typical powdery inoffensiveness. But anything that causes me to unconsciously hold my breath while wearing it is a definite Nope. Use caution if orange scents have a similar effect on you.

  16. :

On paper this smells like especially escada wich i love, rosy and fresh. But on me this doesent smell much. Maybe I’ll wait for warmer days and try again.

This sent is amazing and lasts forever. I can smell it on my self all day, sometimes i fell like i sprayed to much. When i spray at first it seems light, then as it warms up on the skin the fragrance awakens and slaps me in the face. i love it.lol. just dont over spray!! lol

Girly, happy, effervescent, uplifting, bubbly, sweet but not overly so. Dries down to almost soapy but not quite. A good choice to check out if you’re looking for a fruity floral for younger ladies, even tweens, or those young at heart.

While Glace is my favorite Juicy scent (and my signature scent), Rose is a close second! It’s light, girly, sweet and flirty! I love the gorgeous rose scent, with a touch of champagne, jasmine and fruit. While I can’t smell it as long as Glace, Rose still has pretty decent lasting power. My husband loves this fragrance on me!

My #01 favourite scent on top of victoria secret’s bombshell. The dry down is certainly warm and pleasant.
I can still smell them from my used clothes 2 days later when i bring them for laundry haha. Only bad thing is we are unable to see how much content is left? but oh well beautiful bottle who cares

I got a sample of this and I typically scoff at the Juicy Couture line, as they typically are just not for me; but being this is a “rose” scent, I tested it, anyway, as I am currently always looking for a soft rose scent. First blast was pure alcohol for me..but that alcohol blast only lasts for a minute or so before kicking into a a lovely soft clean rose scent. I am pleasantly surprised by this. A light soft fresh rose, sparkling. Nice. I would possibly even consider a full bottle, but unfortunately the sillage and longevity for this are poor. How can the other Juicy Couture frag’s last all day and through a shower and sadly this one poofs in about half an hour…? I love searching for soft clean rose scents, so that is why I gave this a whirl; but I just so wish this had better sillage and definitely better longevity. But my skin just eats this one up in no time flat. EDIT: Ended up getting a full bottle of this. Plan on decanting into one of those spritzers fragrancenet always pushes, and carrying that little spritzer with me. I just had to have a bottle of this. ❤️

I am impressed. This is a light sparkling rose scent. The more I smell it the better I like it. Soft clean feminine rose.

    * These are my personal experiences/thoughts with this fragrance. Yours/others may differ. *
    Initial – rose + pear + orange
    Drydown – rose + jasmine
    Duration – 4-5 hours
    Projection – moderate
My Experiences – While the scent is definitely rosy, the opening is very sweet due to the presence of the pear and orange. The orange goes away in short order, but the pear sticks around for an hour or so. Once the pear note fades, I’m left with a rosy scent that is laced with jasmine. While I like the bright opening, I’m not very excited by the drydown.
Quick Thoughts – rosy, sweet, girly

I don’t like Viva La Juicy and I don’t like roses in a scent, but I do like this one. Clean and feminine.

  27. :

    5 out of 5

I actually love this fragrance, which was surprising as I don’t typically rate the juicy couture fragrances. But this is a new daytime favourite. It lasts beautifully and is delicate yet still prominate.
The rose is definitely the strongest note, however I’m in agreement with other reviews that it’s more like a rose water smell. So complementary to a lot of people. It’s very sweet but more classy than a lot of sweeter fragrances which are similar, in my opinion.
The bottle is the cutest too, super girlie.

  28. :

I bought this blind as I thought I would like it based on notes – in my opinion this is not a safe blind buy. The bottle is beautiful but to me this smells a little unisex and like shampoo!

  29. :

    5 out of 5

After buying this I’m deleting my original review and rewriting it. I love this! It’s like a fresher, less serious version of Stella or Chloe. It’s very girly and feminine but in a fun, laid back way. I think Stella and Chloe are serious and sophisticated rose perfumes. This is a fun, young, fresh, happy girly one. Rose is definitely strong in the notes but it’s more like a rose water drink rather than actual roses. There are hints of pear and mandarin. For about 30 seconds in the beginning the mandarin reminds me of VLJ original but then it forms into a very different scent than VLJ Original. The bottle is indeed GLASS not acrylic. It’s soapy, clean, fresh. So glad I gave it another chance!!!

At first sniff this smelled of nothing else but diluted rose water and I didn’t like it. I didn’t notice any similarity to the original viva la juicy. But a little bit later the scent became more complex and pleasant.
It is definitely a fresh scent. A fresh, youthful rose with a little bit of the juiciness and fruitiness of the original in the background, but it is quite faint, at least on me. It takes a little bit of time to develop but in the end it’s nice.
The bottle is beautiful, sparkly, it’s a pleasure to look at it and hold it!

  31. :

    5 out of 5

This is a very soft and light fragrance. It’s a little fairy in a pink tutu flitting by then falling asleep. I would normally want to spray quite a bit of this because I’m accustomed to stronger fragrances. This is for someone who likes a very subtle rose with an even more subtle peach which blooms within a few minutes. The sillage is poor unless generously sprayed, and it doesn’t have great staying power on my skin. It lasts a little longer on clothing. It’s sweet but not cloying. This is a pretty perfume; however, for myself, I would only purchase a full bottle if I found it very cheap.

  32. :

    4 out of 5

So fresh and dainty. It opens a little synthetic and weird but dries to a really darling fresh rose and peony scent. Pretty good silage and longevity also, sprayed this 4 hours ago, had a shower and it’s still faintly there. The ending is very similar to the original Viva La Juicy.
This should of 100% been it’s own standalone Juicy perfume. No resemblance to the original VLJ at all (besides a slightly similar sweet ending).

When I heard about this one recently I literally gay gasped! Im currently obsessed with rose everything so I had to try this one. I also wanted to try the new Viva La Juicy Sucre as I tend to really love the gourmand, food, sweet fragrances.
I literally couldn’t decide which one I liked more so I bought both in the rollerballs that also come with the original Viva La Juicy fragrance. I’ve been a fan of Juicy Couture for years, since like day one when the company started out. When they released the first fragrance I immediately bought it and it has been one of my favorites for years. Its nice to see them trying something new and different.
While I DO like this Rose version, I have to say that to me its not very “rose”. Wet it is very citrusy, bright and bubbly. On the dry down you get more of the rose, but on the final dry down it smells so much like the original. Viva La Juicy. I was hoping for a little more rose on this one.
While I do love this one, Im not sure its one I would buy in a full size version, unless I found a great deal on it somewhere.

  34. :

    3 out of 5

Gorgeous scent. Easy to wear and very fresh. The rose is like a more bubbly and tart version of the rose in Stella. It dries down to something reminiscent of the original Viva La Juicy. Aaaaannndd then it’s gone. Poof! I really wish this lasted longer and had more sillage. Heartbreaking.

  35. :

    3 out of 5

first of all i would like to say that the bottle is simply AMAZING. im not big on packaging but for this one, it’s too pretty to pass. it’s sparkling pink with ribbon on it, ahh so princessy and girly. if you’re a collector of pretty perfumes then this one is definitely for u.
    the scent?
ermm.. it’s nothing new. i know i’ve smelled this somewhere, and that cant be good, coz i really dont wanna buy a perfume that smells like something else. . this is a basic fruity floral that im not too impressed about. however, it does smell a bit different from the other Viva La Juicy ones. someone mentioned that this reminds them of Anna SUi perfumes and i couldnt agree more.
spritzed this on both of my wrists and i could still smell it faintly after 2 hours. not strong. might have to reapply a few times.
    the sillage is weak too.
if youre keen on rose scented perfume i suggest you buy Rose Essentielle by Bvlgari.
so, VLJ Rose : for the bottle , it’s a YES , but not the scent. =)

  36. :

    5 out of 5

i love this perfume. the bottle is AMAZING. The fragrance too, it reminds me of Especially Escada Delicate Notes, which I LOVE too. But Viva la juicy Rosé has his own style anyway. it lasts a lot too.

  37. :

    3 out of 5

This smells shampooey, and lovely, roses in the beginning but it goes, I could douse myself in it, and this would be innofensive and delightful.
    Buuuut!
    The longevity is so crap
I totally want this, but it annoys me so much that it’s like shampoo water strength! 🙁

  38. :

    5 out of 5

This is less sweet than the other version, less cheap smelling, and less teenagerish..a real pretty mix of rose petals with orris , it is sweet but in a delicate way, just better, more grown up. Longevity is good, but it takes on a different direction.. It is mostly a rose scent, but more than rose if it makes sense. Not a sugar bomb, more a clean rose scent.

  39. :

    3 out of 5

This smells young, but respectable! The bottle is a pure joy to hold while spraying. It’s lovely through and through. I can’t produce a negative thought when using this. It’s a glass bottle, but the sparkly spray is like sprayed on like they do truck bed liners. It has a more firm rubbery feel than sticky flakes. It’s there to STAY. I like that because I can take it with me and show off without leaving a mess in my bag.
The scent itself is sparkly, bubbly, fizzy, effervescent! It’s spring and summer baby showers and weddings in a bottle. I just feel it’s a bit too lovely for jeans and a t-shirt….not that you CAN’T. This smells like color pink with sparkles. I’m so happy I got this in a trade.
This is a perfect Easter scent. If I were to suggest a scent for a mom and daughter dress alike for Easter Sunday, this is the scent they should share. It would shine on child and mother both.
I won’t be trading this off on ANYONE. I’m not normally excited about rose but, as the greedy Daffy Duck would say…It’s mine, ALL mine, MINE MINE MINE!

A guy’s review. This is a 10/10 sexy fragrance on a woman. I couldn’t let myself throw the sample paper away, that’s how sensual it is!

  41. :

    3 out of 5

The smell when I tried it at store and at home is different.
It turned out I hated it, especially the strong smell when you first spray it. The smell turned out to be the same with another perfume I own.
I was very upset I bought the big size.
I tried using it again, and it’s not as bad as I thought. I still hate the strong smell at first, but it will settle down and I love it.
I have a love hate relationship with this perfume.
    Will not repurchase though.

  42. :

this perfume smells as the bottle looks. Exactly. it is a very light rose that is so happy… i can see it: red and fresh and someone has sprinkled this sweet baby rose, with sugar! because i don’t like roses, but… this one is so cheerful as perfume, i want it for spring to forget my vanillas without suffering from dependence symptoms haha 😀

  43. :

Bought some testers (Viva LA Juicy, I <3 JC, Viva LA Juicy Rose).
This is, as I predicted, my least favourite of the three.
I’m not a fan of rose scents at all. For a rose scent though, this is pretty.
    It opens with… ROSE.
The rose doesn’t go away, and there’s a hint of sour some thing or other… but there is a softness added that makes it tolerable and debatably likeable to non-rose fans. It’s very soft and close to the skin. I think unless someone came up and got really close to me, they wouldn’t smell it.
    I wouldn’t buy this.
It’s only been 30 minutes or so.. will check back later.

Aaaahhhhh! Mmmmmm! Try wearing it in the bright sun on an almost warm day. It makes me feel like I should be laying out in the yard in a lawnchair.

  45. :

I have several of the Juicy line, and next to Couture LaLa this is my hands down absolute fave. When I originally saw the bottle I fell for it off the bottle alone. Then when I tried a tester at Macy’s I was hooked. I waited around and just got the GRANDE EDITION for Christmas! 6.7oz! Just a huge beautiful edition of this fragrance. I have worn it a few times since and I love how clean it is, even with the heavy Rose notes and the fruity undertone. I think it’s actually a sheer and chic fragrance. In this colder weather it stays strong on my body and clothes. I feel in the summer in heat it won’t fair well at all, maybe in the evenings or during a breeze. This one also does well in rainy days. The chemistry of the Rose and peony and white florals really holds up well in the weather. I love this scent. 10/10!

  46. :

    5 out of 5

I don’t like this when you first spray it. Then, minutes later it smells so good! My friend loves rose and has had an influence on me. I’m starting to like it as well in the right combination. That would be this. I’m Flowerbombin’ right now, but can’t wait for spring to break this out.

  47. :

    4 out of 5

My daughter bought me a great big bottle of this for Christmas! I love it!! It smells almost exactly like my signature scent Escada Especially Escada. Only thing is, the longevity is lacking and sillage is very close to my body. Which is okay, because I’ve never been the type of woman to killl everyone off with my choice of fragrance.

  48. :

    5 out of 5

I received this as a birthday gift after hinting around, leaving the magazine ad in different places of the house where hubby could see it. 🙂
After sniffing a sample strip, I realized that this was right up my alley. Very strong pear, peony, and rose notes (I smell nothing else but those three), but not the kind of rose that can make your head spin and get you quite nauseous. It’s a youthful rose… not mature and sexy like Stella, but more fresh and invigorating. It makes me feel revitalized when I spritz it on, and I get numerous compliments saying I smell good! It doesn’t smell like VLJ at all, or any of the other flankers. I have a gazillion perfumes, and I can’t compare this to anything I own, which makes it unique to me. The only downside is the longevity. It doesn’t last long, or at least my nose doesn’t detect it after about an hour, but other people can still smell it on me. I like to catch whiffs of my perfume during the day, and with this one, there’s no whiffs to savor.
Probably would not re-purchase after this bottle is gone.

  49. :

This smells great on me. I get a strong rose/floral scent and then a slight sweetness. I receive many compliments wearing this. I feel as though it is a very young, summer fragrance. The bottle looks better in real life than it does online, but the sparkle is kinda tacky

    Hello fragranticans,
A member that used to love Juicy Couture, had as a signature Viva la Juicy (EDP) after first snif, loved to the moon and back La Fleur (EDT) edition, had and still have almost all Viva La Juicy editions and graduated from JC College.
What I will say? I am expecting soon a new edition that will be the oriental one VLJ. Who knows? I love when houses have a signature scent and don’t play much with it. It starts to be boring from a point and after, specially for fans of JC perfumes. Example, what’s the point of VLJ Noir (EDP)? Why we faced the discontinuation of VLJ La Fleur (EDT)? Why VLJ Gold Couture (EDP) was that much advertised and now you can’t even find it in their website when it didn’t suppose to be a limited edition?
Let’s get straight to Rose. Excellent and catchy bottle, great lasting power and sillage, I couldn’t except anything less although JC plays a lot now days. I am not a fan of rose in perfumes and by reading reviews I thought I will find a candied rosie-bubbly result. What really happened? An opening extremelly similar to the original, berries are missing but the sweet part is still delicious and more serious. Middle notes are again similar to the floreal feeling the original gives but peony is the bright star and the ending is clean and fresh. Of course rose plays a good role here, we have Rose edition, but it’s so light and almost gourmandise that I don’t care. The total feeling VLJ Rose gives me is an expensive shampoo-type of perfume that is as sweet as serious. Belongs to a family of Chance Eau Tendre-Chanel, Blooming Bouquet-Dior but it’s way better and full of senses! Like you just jump out of the shower. A bit earthy, light and intense but so romantic. I like it and I am sure everybody will.
p.s: Although not a huge inspiration and effort was made to create VLJ Rose, please, please don’t discontinue it!

    Have this on skin.
Givenchy nectar is out shining it so far. Not getting much rose, McCartney still kicks ass in the rose dept.
Don’t know if I’d buy this

I’m SO happy to say that today I found this for 45dollars (CDN) tax in! My husband went into buy tools at a pawn shop so I just was looking around and found this! Like I said in a brief review I did previously this really does smell like couture la la just slightly more rose. It reminds me of Dior Addict2, bright crystal…you all I’m sure know exactly what I mean. I can’t even believe they had it at a pawn shop lol still in the package and everything….oh I bet it was stolen!!! Either way…score for me!!!

  56. :

I like this a lot more than the original Viva La Juicy. The rose is unique and classic. The other fruits still maintain the famous youthful, sweet appeal of Juicy Couture but it’s definitely not as childish or commonplace as the original Viva La Juicy.
I keep going to Sephora to get free test vials because I really like this but I don’t think I like it enough to buy a full-sized bottle. While beautiful, the rose and peony combination smells a little synthetic with my body chemistry. It’s a little sharp and soapy in my opinion. I’d recommend trying before buying because spraying into the air or on a tester does not produce this result with my particular body chemistry.
About 2 sprays of this on my warmest areas gives me about 3 hours of wear before it fades too much and I re-apply. That’s a fairly good longevity for an EDP with this type of light composition. I get a fairly close sillage which is perfect for school, work, or just about any kind of setting.
Overall, I *may* purchase a bottle if I find a deal on eBay. Right now, I *like* it but it’s definitely not a love. Maybe when I finally wear down my current fragrance supply… so basically never.

I had a tester of it and didn’t think much of it, but then when it ran out, I wanted more. It lives up to its name: Rose. I like it more now that I have the bottle. It’s not too harsh smelling. It last awhile. My only complaint is that the bottle was like $60 or $70. I think it’s worth about $40.

This absolutely, positively smells just like Especially Escada – which isn’t a bad thing!
This smells sweeter, initially – exactly the same in the middle – but the end? What end? It doesn’t last nearly as long, and that’s disappointing.
It’s a wonderful scent, if it stuck around longer.

Very surprised at how much I love this perfume! It has quickly become a favorite.
I’m not a fan of most juicy couture fragrances. I like a few but no more than like. I thought this would be sickly sweet like the others despite its name “rose.” When it came out I wasn’t in a hurry to sniff it. I had been receiving a lot of paper samples from Ulta and other magazines. Wow! It smelled amazing!
I recently bought a big bottle and I can’t get enough of it. I have been wearing it everyday and have received many compliments from loved ones and strangers. It’s not groundbreaking but it makes me smell PRETTY. I am very happy with my purchase. I love peony and rose notes. They play out beautifully in this perfume. A gorgeous fresh floral! Lasting power is decent, wish it lasted longer than 4 hours. The other day I sprayed at 5pm, I woke at 9am the next morning and kept catching wiffs of the scent. I guess lasting power differs.
P.s. I love that the glitter of the bottle doesn’t fall off everywhere. I was worried about that but it’s not a problem.

I wanted to like this so bad. The bottles is gorgeous. Smells okay but not my cup of tea. Won’t be purchasing.

Soapy, flowery, crisp and sheer. I smell mostly rose and peony with some sligthtly sour fruits. There is something in the basenotes that grounds it a little.
It smells like a perfume someone aged 16-25 would use, it smells “young”. I think it’s just a nice scent, and I don’t find it very special at all. The bottle is adorable though!

Smells EXACTLY like Bandung (AKA rose milk) Its a very popular drink in Asia.
All I get from this fragrance is a very sweet milky rose.

okay, this is my first review on this forum.
First, i’m newbie in perfume but i really like to smell something nice, so my POV might be different but here we go,
i don’t know why but i don’t like the scent of this. I got mine by online because i love the bottle so much.
When i wear it for the first time, i fell in love with it because i just simply love floral fragrances. It doesn’t last on me and i can’t even smell it.
    Then things got worst,
it started to smell like dead-skin from a yeti that hasn’t took a bath for years. it makes me real sick
It’s just my opinion, so no offense 🙂

Got it Feb 2016, and paid an arm and a leg for it, but the sparkly bottle is SO pretty so worth it, I guess.
The scent is nothing like original VLJ or the rest. It is very light. I smell flowers…mostly rose.

I was very pleasantly surprised to like this, considering the fact that I don’t normally like Juicy Couture fragrances. I agree with flowers-in-the-springtime. It seems like Juicy Couture creates fragrances targeted towards a younger audience; but this is quite a lovely adult fruity-floral. In the department store, this turned out to be more juicy-fresh than fresh/clean like I originally thought from another review. It in no way reminds me of JLo Glow (which I have and love. That one is more soapy-soft Jasmine, and fresh/clean). My husband agrees that on first spray, it starts out sweet and juicy, but quickly dries down to a rose/peony fragrance with tiny little “juice drops” instead of “dew drops”. It’s not as watery or sparkly as, say, Alessandro dell’Aqua Woman in Rose…or even Cabotine Rose…but more juicy; and dare I say, slightly more elegant? In comparing this to the other two rose scents, I’d say that the other two are probably easier to wear as everyday and everywhere scents, though this can easily be turned into someone’s signature scent and be worn everyday too (though probably more for work than just running errands). When sniffed close to the skin, it smells almost powdery; but the fragrance wafting away from the skin is floral with hints of sparkling fruit. The base notes appear early on me (which I’m glad about) and tones down the juiciness even more. Instead of being “full-frontal” like it was in the beginning, the fruit/juiciness becomes mild and weaves in and out of the rose/peony/powdery/resinous base. I can see this being worn during the day or night; in the Spring and cooler weather. In humid or extremely hot days, I can see it becoming too much for s
