Description

The perfume Viva la Juicy was presented as a gourmet floral fragrance, which opens with notes of wild berries and juicy mandarin. The heart encompasses a floral blend of honeysuckle, gardenia and jasmine, while the base notes await us with a gourmet rhapsody of amber, caramel, vanilla, sandalwood and pralines.

The perfume arrives in a typical Juicy Couture bottle with a charming ribbon of fuchsia colour, as 50 and 100 ml EDP, as well as roll on edition in the amount of 7,5 ml EDP, appropriate for your purse.

Besides the perfume, the collection includes 200 ml rich, luxurious body cream, 250 ml bath and 250 ml body lotion. Viva la Juicy was launched in 2008.

I don’t think it’s worth it’s price at all. Quite a weak perfume. Gave it away. Bought largest bottle size as a blind buy (foolish I know, it was back when I was just getting into perfumes) and was super disappointed. Thought I was anosmic or something because I just wasn’t getting anything special. Easy to wear and a good beginner perfume maybe.

Of the JC fragrance family: Viva la Juicy is the most popular girl at her high-school, everyone wants her. She’s sweet and enticing.

    viva la juicy
    summer test
    two sprays inner elbow
    caramel fruity
    pale
    light all over
    eraser note (smiggle shop)
slight cheap flatness after about an hour (was trialling with JC original and ILove JC)
someone else had a sniff of me and said they could smell it, i no longer could.
ive had this and sold it in the past but no harm in spraying now and then in the shops.
i prefer others from this brand – i will say ive not been impressed with longevity from JC, so something to consider, aslo, seasons play a big role in performance for these

This is a blind buy for me. The smell is ok but not my favorite. The scent is a mix of floral and caramel but more caramel, sweet scent to it. But not a stand out perfume.

I like the sweetness, and flowery. But i’m expected more sophisticated as the gorgeous bottle. I’m literally disappointed. This perfume should be nice, and fancy. But this like ordinary perfume.
And this so soft n smell close too my skin.
    Scent 8/10
    Power 5/10
    Sillage 5/10
    Repurchase No,
not ready to pay for it again.

    So disappointed.

I absolutely LOVED VLJ in high school. It is such a great mix of florals, fruits, and sweets! I hadn’t smelled it in so long then yesterday I found a mini rollerball when cleaning out my bathroom. When I smelled it, it brought back memories. It is probably about 6 years old now so the scent definitely changed but I still plan on keeping it. This is such a great present for your teenage daughter. I remember also owning the lotion of this and loving it. Many lotions based on perfumes don’t end up smelling that great but imo this one is awesome.

Love/hate relationship with this perfume! Years ago, I couldn’t stand it! I live in a city that has extremely hot summers and the girls at my college were wearing this perfume. It was so cloying. I would get headaches.
One winter one of my coworkers smelled beautiful. A soft sweet, fruity floral scent was coming from her. When she told me it was VLJ, my jaw just about dropped to the ground. How? Then years later I had an interview with one of the nursing directors (probably in her late 40’s or early 50’s) at the hospital I work at. She smelt divine! I asked her if she was wearing VLJ and she happily said yes. How could this be? I hated this perfume?
I ended up buying a bottle myself and quickly discovered that I LOVE wearing this in cool weather. It’s floral, fruity and sweet but not overly sweet. I hate wearing this when it’s hot. It way to sweet. All I get is caramel on my skin.
Lasting power is about six hours. During the summer it’s like 12 but I stay away from wearing it during our hot months.
I see a lot of reviews saying this perfume is too mature or too much of a teen perfume. Wow? I can see someone of all ages rocking this perfume.
Wearing it today and absolutely loving it!

I dont understand how this perfume made it to have more loved than likes if all i see here is complaints about it. Guess am not purchasing it

Opens with a Jamba Juice stand, and finishes with Brach’s Milk Maid caramel bullion cubes, amber, and overpriced shoes.
Teen Vogue magazine has smelled like this for the past ten years; and it works in a ridiculously girly-girl fashion. Doesn’t project too much and doesn’t last too long, and the bottle is chichi cute.
I’m guessing the box sets sell like hotcakes on the holidays.

Oh how I have been wanting to have this. But thank God I got to test it before purchasing. All the notes listed suggest its a fume I should love. Sadly it’s not something I will ever buy. I was so disappointed when I tried. I did not get any sweetness at all. Nothing special, nothing ground breaking. It didn’t smell girly to me just an OK mature fragrance.

BIG honeysuckle on my skin, with a lovely base of caramel. I see why this fragrance is so popular.. there’s a lot to love about it and not a lot to dislike. A sweet, pretty floral with a sticky gourmand edge to it.. ultra feminine, youthful, and great projection and longevity for a bargain. This is my holy grail honeysuckle, actually. For a time I thought Brilliant White Diamonds was it but that fragrance is only a whisper, it lasts for about a millisecond on me even though the scent is a true honeysuckle without much else muddying it up. I actually prefer the caramel note in Viva la Juicy though, it complements the honeysuckle very well without overpowering it.
This also reminds me quite a bit of Paris Hilton’s Siren but higher quality/more complex.

I’ve always been a Juicy fan, and I’m not even sure how I ended up even buying this version but I like it. I definitely smell caramel, praline/chocolate, and floral which sounds like a weird combination but works very well. In my opinion a little goes a long way with this brand of perfume though. Very pleasant. I also feel like it has that “Juicy Couture” smell…like if you’ve smelled some of their other ones you could probably identify this as Juicy without looking. Would buy again.

I’ve had this fragrance in my collection for a couple of years now. I love the white floral notes. It’s faintly sweet. A lot of reviewers are saying this is for younger girls in high school or in their 20’s, but I don’t get a sickeningly sweet note from this and I could easily imagine someone older wearing this fragrance. It’s a great date night perfume and men will give you compliments. I enjoy the original way more than the flankers. I will say, though, that I do have to take breaks from it because I sometimes get bored. It’s a very popular fragrance and I know at least 3 other girls who have it. But I always find myself coming back to it.

I bought this for the first time around 2008, just because of the name and packaging. It was the perfect scent for me and was my signature from then (age 20) til around 2015. I’ve been through countless bottles of this and had endless compliments, but I’ve been exploring other perfumes as I age and try to broaden my taste. This may not be the right scent for 30+ as it’s very sweet and flirty. Then again… I’m not sure I can outgrow it honestly.

My husband bought this for me. I do not love it and I do not hate it. I don’t get the flower smell on this I get this sweet caramel vanilla candy scent. Not my favorite but I dont despise it. The bottle has lasted me over two years so do not wear it often !

I love it but for note, a little goes a LONG way. I found this out by accident. Sweet, and holds up for hours.

Blind buying of this fragrance, because I was looking for gourmand scent without heavy sillage. I like this perfume, I notice sweetness, vanilla, and citrusy note mostly. But I consider this scent is very common in my nose. I always notice it in public area where I find young woman with make up and feminine style. I like this fragrance so I will use it daily.

let’s take a moment here , at first i didn’t like this perfume since the white florals especially jasmine are so noticeable but i decided to give it more than a chance and finally i knew what all this hype for ! it’s very feminine on the floral side not the sweet sugary side – i don’t find it sugary at all like other gourmand perfumes – so it’s too girly and complex somehow at the same time it’s fresh and very easy to wear especially in summer and hot weather . i began to like it more and more every time i smell it . the longevity is quite good ( i sprayed it 7:30 am and i didn’t smell it again on 12:00 pm since nobody smells themselves after a while but it’s still in my clothes ) and sillage is moderate not overpowering unless you oversprayed it and not choking it’s very pleasing . i see why jeremy is raving about the VLJ line since it’s too girly an ultimate sexy girl or a woman can rock it easily. For me , it has a similar vibe to la vie est belle but they are not similar in the smell at all but it gives me the same vibe of florals .
simply you imagine yourself walking through a garden of caramelized jasmine (not freshly cut jasmine garden) with some orange (not an orange juice but an orange fruit)

A warm, sweet opening with vanilla, mandarin, and caramel. Unfortunately, a synthetic undertone ruins the whole fragrance. I think the culprit is the fruity mandarin/strawberry combination. It smells more like a Victoria Secret body-spray than an expensive perfume. However, I am sure I would have enjoyed this scent as a teenager.

  21. :

    4 out of 5

Smells very bright, elegant, soft, and sweet. In the first few minutes, the fragrance blasts off with very sweet vanilla, a bit of caramel, and white floral.
After a while, it softens up and turns into something extremely beautiful, and amazing. I don’t think this is a girls’ fragrance at all. I can see 10-50 year old people wearing this without anything odd.
It is also a very versatile scent, I can see anyone wearing this, anytime. Just not for a man, that is for sure.
Sadly, even though I am absolutely in love with this perfume, it sits extremely close to the skin. Unless someone buries their face in your neck, they probably won’t smell it at all. As a person who likes sharp, sweet, very gourmand, head-turner fragrances, the projection was an extreme disappointment. Would not repurchase.
The scent itself would get a 8.5/10 from a gourmand lover.
    The projection sadly gets 2/10.
Longevity gets 6/10. Lasts 5-6, sometimes about 4 hours. Keep in mind I spray it 2 times on the wrists, 3-5 times on my neck, and 2 times behind my ears. Gets total of 8-10 sprays every time I use it.

  22. :

This smells pretty, elegant, feminine and not too sweet at the same time. I would say its is the type of perfume that is very easy to please everyone.
The only reason I would not repurchase it’s because everybody that I know has the same one. LOL

  23. :

I was shocked at how unattractive this smelled to me. It smells of longtime stored sugar or some cheap sweet fragrance that went bad/rancid, but it also felt like something I smelled so many times before. Guess it’s popular where I live. Not for me though. Glad I didn’t blind buy based on the hype on Youtube. Seriously, Jeremy?? That’s ur ultimate “woman” perfume?? Can’t wrap my my mind around why people find this attractive. I hope I get a better experience with Gold Couture.

Is it my imagination or does this smell a LOT like Electric Youth? I used to love Electric Youth when I was 12.
In any case, Viva la Juicy smells like delicious bubble gum. But I’m 40 and I don’t want to smell like that anymore. For the young and young at heart, it is sweet and fun.

  25. :

    5 out of 5

I really don’t get why a lot of people say this is really really sweet :/ I love this worn it for years but I think this is more fresh then Cady sweet, yes it’s girly and sweetish but there are a lot sweeter fragrances out there. I think people tend to judge it on the really girly bottle love the bottle ! And how it’s marketed rather then the sent , I am not just going on my skin i have smelt this on lots of other people and it always smells the same , I get orange and white flowers , with a little vanilla in the dry down very nice fresh day sent for all ages ! As perfumes do not care how old or young you are 🙂

i am a HUGE viva la juicy fan….My go to girly signature scent! its smells so great on my skin – specially on hot sweaty summer days i feel like this scent really blends well with my natural scent on my skin & it does not smell overbearingly sweet. The initial spray is strong and very fruity for about 5 minutes but soon dries down into a subtle, light, supper girly fun scent. I’ve used it for many occasions, from everyday to special. Can’t get enough.

  28. :

I find this perfume to be quite ordinary and boring. it smells like caramel, vanilla, berries and floral notes.
it’s not bad but just isn’t wow.

  29. :

    4 out of 5

This fragrance smells good, and is fairly universal. I could imagine this on an older woman, as well as on a teen. Even though I like the scent, I can agree that it is a bit overhyped. It smells good, but isn’t anything extraordinary. This fragrance smells floraly ,fruity, sweet and a bit dark, like musk. Viva La Juicy is sweet, but also a bit spicy and dark.

  30. :

It’s just an OK perfume for hight school girls, it smells too much like candies and not expensive ones

  31. :

    4 out of 5

This smells like cheap, generic perfume – the type where you just smell a blend of unidentifiable, sweet, plasticky stuff with no middle notes. Same typ of quality as Victoria’s Secret perfumes. Got a sample from Ulta, sprayed it once, and now thinking about how to get rid of it in a least wasteful way…

  32. :

    4 out of 5

I’ve been wearing Viva La Juicy for about 5 years now, and aside from a bottle that may have been a fluke (wasn’t staying on me at all, no silage) , I have to say that i really love this fragrance. This is really one of only a small handful of perfumes I can wear, as I have chronic migraines. It’s a lovely, fun blend of vanilla/caramel/amber with middle notes of orange citrus and light notes of jasmine. Truly a gourmand floral that can be worn anytime, anywhere and by women of all ages. Love this and am glad to have a “good” bottle once again!

  33. :

    5 out of 5

This fragrance is over-hyped and just not worth it. It smelled like something you’d try in a drugstore and then wish you’d never sprayed it on yourself. It does have fruity notes but Juicy Couture added way too much into this mixture for it to be enjoyable. I feel like I am in the minority opinion on this one but I just really didn’t like it. This scent should be called “Viva NOT Juicy.”

  34. :

    3 out of 5

Viva La Juicy is very sweet, and it multiplies its sweetness to few levels in the dry down, to the level that it can be too much to somebody (I like a lot of sweet fragrances, and I can understand :)) I smelled concentrated caramel, vanilla…and then bold and sweet floral/praline notes that sometimes gave me a light headache, depends on the weather. Please test it first on your SKIN before buying. I like Victoria’s Secret Noir Tease better for the sweet level and the “darkness”, and I think VS Noir Tease smells more similar to JC Viva La Juicy Noir than this one.
I have owned almost all the versions of the iconic Viva La Juicy line and this original one, strangely enough, by far, is at the bottom of my Viva list. I still wear it but prefer Viva La Juicy Gold over the original.
(Same “trend” has happened with Victoria’s Secret perfume house, I own and like most of their Bombshell flankers more than the original Bombshell itself).

  35. :

    5 out of 5

To my surprise, I liked this better than the gold version. This is a better fruity floral gourmand. Amazing top and middle notes, the combination smells heavenly. This one is very heavy on the jasmine sambac and caramel and is a pretty and girly scent. If Barbie has a signature scent, this would be it. Too bad this doesn’t last that long. I’ll give this an 8/10!

Just run out of mine 🙁 need more ! I have had about 4bottels of this and still love it , to me it’s one you can just chuck on and run out the door , if I don’t know what one to choose I pick this always a winner but i have to take it out with me for top ups as it really dose not last long on me , but it’s kind of cheap so I don’t mine topping up , love this happy little fragrance ,think you can wear all year but I love it best in spring it’s beautiful 🙂

  37. :

    5 out of 5

There is eternally sexy combination feeding up all my senses: orange, vanilla, chocolate, jasmine.
I must admit, there’s something triggering in it. But oh well…Mugler Angel was my first love, and it has grain of hairspray notes or man’s cologne as well. There are types of people, the ones who wear Chanel and elegance and the ones like me, running away from polished looks and fragrances. This perfume is slightly edgy and bitter just as i like.
Each time I smell it in the air, i stop and check around. It’s interesting to see how wide is age range using Viva La Juicy.

  38. :

You spray it on your wrist, it smells nice, sweet caramel-ish and then it disappears. At least on me. In like 10 minutes, it vanished. I am offended.

I’ll do my best with this review,
My partner gifted me Viva La Juicy as a Valentine’s Day gift ❤️
I remember my mum having this a couple years back. The pink ribbon is unforgettable 🙂
I smell orange, gardenia & jasmine the most.
It’s so well blended, there is a tiny sweetness to it, & I guess that’s the wild berries.
I don’t get caramel or vanilla at all. But that’s okay!
Absolutely stunning, fresh, & mood lifting.
    I find this perfect for any age group 😉 whether you’re 20, 30, 40, 50…
You can pull this off ladies !
Happy to have this (thanks to my man) A❤️
Edit: woah woah fast forward to 5 hours later, this did a little magic, I can detect a tiny bit of caramel & vanilla! With very faint musk.. Guess you need to let this work on you. How surprising!

Veeery teenager-y and over the top. Although I personally find it fun and a cute addition to a well-rounded fragrance arsenal, I can see how a lot of folks would find VLJ annoying- not to mention cloying.
Totally not worth the full price of a brand new bottle. The quality simply isn’t that great to justify it. But if you spot it on discount, snag it. It really is cute.

  41. :

    3 out of 5

This is great for anyone who loves ultra-fruity sweet and candy-rich gourmands. I find it cloying with sugar and gladly parted with my full bottle after smelling it (or perhaps a knockoff that was similar enough) completely doused on a customer at my work (in produce with fresh fruits and vegetables; which provided the scent with a bare canvas-it was practically sticky in the air!) It’s hard for me to find anything floral about it and is reminiscent of baked-goods scented candles. Perhaps a nice first perfume for a young teen.

  42. :

    4 out of 5

So my friend got a gift set for this perfume and she was willing to give me the mini and the body lotion for this scent. I need to buy the fullsize asap! This smells really really really good. This fragrence is white floral, caramel, orange, and amber. Also light and pretty so it isn’t gagging strong. I would prefer wearing this in the spring and summer. I honestly rate everything 10/10. This one is definently worth the hype! <3

  43. :

    3 out of 5

I LOVE THIS! I am in on my third bottle of this, I need to wear this every summer. I get so many compliments. This is freaking summer in a bottle to me!

  44. :

    5 out of 5

I have a sample of it, luckily I didn’t buy a whole bottle without testing it.
It’s a huge disappointment. Actually I love the scent, I feel caramel and berries the most, smells like an expensive liquer. It’s a bit too sweet, too gourmand for me, but it could be perfect for teenagers.
The main reason I don’t like it is the poor lasting. It takes about an hour until the smell disappear completely. Sillange is also way too soft, it feels only close to my skin.
And the bottle… OMG it’s disgusting. Looks like a cheap prostitute from the 19th century.

don’t last on my skin at all!

  46. :

I tested this numerous times before I purchased it.its an unusual one, although I really like it.i thought I would use it alot more than I do.

  47. :

    5 out of 5

I actually quite like this as an inoffensive and office-safe floral/gourmand, providing you’re not too heavy handed with the application.
For me, the initial caramel blast dies down quite quickly to a comfortable vanilla-jasmine-sandalwood fragrance with light projection and moderate longevity.
I think a lot of the ‘Christ, this is pink, girly, hideous shit!’ hatred comes from an aversion to the Juicy Couture branding, to be honest. The actual fragrance is sweet but also clean and gives me a cheerful little boost in the morning.
Not one for the true perfume aficionados, perhaps, but really quite pleasant.

  48. :

in Bulgaria the brand is not sold. I begged a friend who went to the US to bring me the gold version, but he got confused and took that one. Can anyone compare the two? I have not tried it yet.

  49. :

    5 out of 5

Let me start out by saying this was a gift, and not something I probably would have picked up to even test, myself. My own taste tends toward more unisex, woody smells. I like florals, but I like them simple and straight forward.
    So with that in mind…
I find this the pinnacle of cloying, fussy, sweet, scents: It’s like Axe, but for women. I kept trying to tone it down and apply less to see if I could get something more subtle and wearable….I hate to trash it, since it’s expensive, but it is not for me. Those sweet gourmand notes punch me right in the nose with the florals, and nothing seems to blend or mature with wear.
Can’t fault Juicy Couture though – the bottle tells you just what you’re getting: flamboyant, and in-your-face. Certainly a polarizing scent.

  50. :

    4 out of 5

It’s a nice sweet/floral scent that eventually dries down to a caramel scent, but nothing special. I understand why many girls like this, but I personally prefer the Gold Couture version over this one.

  51. :

    3 out of 5

This is Ok, I’ve have it bought as a present before, it’s very sweet smelling I don’t think it’s worth the price tag. I have had alot of people saying that I smell nice while wearing it though mostly from men I’ve found

  52. :

    3 out of 5

Unbelievable, but true: I haven’t tested this famous, widely available, almost 10 years old milestone of girly gourmands properly until I recently got a sample with an online order. The brand and the first sniff from the bottle just didn’t appeal to me I guess, even though I like sweet and girly perfumes.
I have to say that I liked it better than expected when I sprayed my fresh sample on my skin. It opens with a mix of fruits and berries, very sweet, and soon the caramel note joins in.
Buuuut this is one of those scents that smell great in the top notes and less good in the drydown. It’s fruits and a very generic creamy jasmin/white floral note on a base of sticky caramel and amber. Of course it’s vanillic and sweet, but it’s more fruity floral than gourmand on my skin and has a bit of a sour background noise. The longer it’s there, the less I like it. Over the time it’s quite boring.
I mean, it’s okay, youthful and fun and starts out nice, and I’m glad I finally tried it, but in the end, it’s a meh for me and I don’t get the hype. I might try some of the flankers though.

Reminds me of guess guess for women.smells cheap, common, but guys love it on girls.

  54. :

    5 out of 5

Definitely one of my favorite perfume, it smells so feminine and sweet! It doesn’t smell too much of caramel or vanilla, and the ratio just seem right for me. I am really fan of sweet, floral scents and to be honest my boyfriend really like it too on me. I think this smell is perfect for bright, young, feminine women. The longevity is not too bad, around 4-5 hours on me.

  55. :

    4 out of 5

I really should know by now not to spray aimlessly while waiting in the chemist.
This is just horrible. A huge upfront burst of shrieking white floral and jasmine strong enough to induce a massive headache, that then dies down to a sickly, nauseating sweet like dairy toffee, with a slightly sour note. The ‘creamy’ note is more like yoghurt on the turn. It’s light, but it hangs about like a fart at a funeral, and lasts and lasts. Total scrubber.

  56. :

    4 out of 5

Viva La Juicy is very heavy on the white florals; I know that it is known for being a very sweet fragrance, and it is, but the white floral notes really stand out to me from the get-go, made creamier by the sweeter caramel/praline/vanilla/amber blend. Longevity is excellent, and it grows sweeter on the (or at least my) skin. I totally understand why it is so popular because it is very feminine, pretty, and easy to wear, yet I can’t help but feel that among the popular fragrances it is just too generic. Viva La Juicy to me lacks that extra little “something” that could elevate it from a great perfume to an excellent one. Maybe if the balance between the fruity floral and sweet notes were adjusted or a few more “challenging” notes were added maybe it wouldn’t be so straightforward and boring.
Still a great option for a perfume if you want something pretty and feminine for a nighttime event, but as it stands, it is rather uninteresting.

    Test this before,
First spray..alcohol..ok..thats normal i guess, then smells like really burnt sugar(with the burn smells),later on turns to creme brule and caramel then turns floral,by the time it reach the vanilla.. the scent is almost gone.
I was like, goodness.. this for that price, no way im getting it..too bad, really love the bottle (i hate noir and gold bottle, looks cheap/tacky..like metallic spray over the nice design bottle)
Today, its half price for 50ml. So i buy it for the sake of the bottle despite knowing the poor longevity, all because of the lovely bottle .well.. bow i have it.. i wont repurchase it again. Got the lovely bottle.. hehehehe

I have recently acquired this for the second time. I gave it away the first time, but I have been seduced into putting it back into my collection:)
This is floral on me with very little sweetness. It turns to musk and stays that way, not a candied floral at all. I would like it more if it was.
I am going to stick it out this time and not give it away because I want it for the sake of having it for my collection. I can barely say I like this, but I do understand its appeal…

I’ve had 2 minis of this frag in the past and never thought much of it until i used the last of my 2nd mini and fell in love. It’s a gorgeous, sweet and creamy floral that i personally don’t think smells synthetic, like “high school” or “white trash” which I’ve unfortunately read on some reviews here. To each her own.
Try it and see if you like it before letting a bad review deter you. No one should make you feel embarassed or regretful for buying something you like/love.
I’m so happy i just got a 100ml bottle more than 50% full in a swap today, just in time for fall!
EDIT: I have a back-up already! AND VLJ So Intense! AND VLJ Noir!
EDIT 2: JUST bought VLJ Gold Couture, I’m all set!

I think this is quite nice, I like the mix of flowers and a very little touch of gourmand. Unfortunatly I can’t be sure cause I’ve never had a perfume with such a terrible longevity. Really, the lasting power on my skin is none! Before I can discover what this scent is all about, it’s gone. I’ll try it again on very hydrated skin and see if I can enjoy it for more than 15 min. then. But I’m afraid it’s hopeless.

I was hit with berries and gardenia as soon as I spray this. I usually steer clear of gardenia….a little goes a long way with gardenia. I prefer jasmine but the gardenia here is a nice change of pace.

I find this to be fresh, sweet, and comfortable. I prefer to wear it in cooler weather because otherwise it becomes cloyingly sweet. The berry and vanilla and sandalwood mixture is yum and cozy.

Viva La Juicy was on my radar since last winter. The top notes reminded me of Happy by Clinique. I could describe it as white sweet floral, crisp like champagne and sexy.
This year I have checked it again and I wasn’t sure how I feel about it. The top notes are still same orange and honeysuckle mix but very soon it becomes literally Britney Spears Fantasy. It could be chemistry thing. I have nothing against Fantasy, this is pretty sweet scent, but not my type. I have tried many testers and got the same result.
Another reason that made me doubtful was my colleague. She wears this daily and on her it smells awful. On that lady it smells really bad, like perfume that was kept in sunlight for months. Now each time I test it, that expired perfume note is the first thing I notice.
Third drop that pulled it from me away is accidentally bought Air Wick Pure White Vanilla. That damn air freshener smells identical or even better than Viva La Juicy.
Sadly because of these repulsive factors I am not Viva La Juicy fan anymore.

I agree there’s a somewhat synthetic note but to me its more like adelhydes. I don’t consider this trashy( trashy wears body spray on top of not bathing). I get general sweetness, more caramel I guess, not really the pralines. I get more praline in Couture Couture. Mostly I get lily of the valley + gardenia. I only wore this can few times and gave it to my mom who likes this type of perfume, White Shoulders is similar and that was her fave. Hope nobody calls my mom ” cheap” as she would smack them!

I know this is a very popular scent but I can’t figure out why. If there was a white trash ball, I imagine it would smell like Viva La Juicy. It has a very pungent, synthetic top note that smells a Glade berry air freshener. I wore a sample one Sunday and my husband told me I smelled cheap. That’s the one word I’d use to describe it. Cheap.

Berry caramel. This is a party-time, a nightclub, a celebration fragrance. You think Juicy Couture when you smell this, it’s one of their signatures. I personally find this better suited to night-time, and colder, less hot weather. Bonus: The bottle is positively darling on a vanity table.

so this is my new fragrance. I made a decision to go with the original (blind buy) instead of Noir and think it’s ok to experience it first. Noir is absolutely in consideration for the future after I’m done with the original.
I read about Juicy alot and created a picture in my head how it should smell. the first moments were a bit confusing. after that: OH MY GOD! IT’S DIVINE! IT’S JUST SO SO GOOD… familiar, smelt it somewhere else, but so unique. has feeling. has soul. its calming and sexy. very womanly. has huge sillage. there’s really nothing to complain about it. Nice girly scent. apparently, vanilla and caramel are dominant in the air, but on my skin i smell lot of tropical fruits, like pineapple. kinda reminds me on Cavalli’s Paradiso, but much better.
it can be worn day and night. Gives that Happy feeling.
    Im glad I bought it.

I’m quite dissappointed by this. I too was expecting a heavy caramel scent but unfortunately this is very weak on my skin and smells of synthetic berries.

I was very curious about this perfume, because I’ve heard it’s one of the most popular woman fragrances in the world, although in my country (Hungary) just a very few people know it!
To be honest, I dont’t like this scent at all, it was a huge disappointment for me. 🙁 I expected a heavy, sweet gourmand scent with lot of caramel, but all I got was a weak floral scent with lots of white flowers, citruses, sour berries and just a little bit of sweetness… I hardly can detect any caramel in it. 🙁 It also has a little “watery” effect on my skin, so – as the name says – it smells like a very simple and a bit childish fruit juice on me. 🙁
It’s also not unique: on me, it smells EXACTLY THE SAME as Gucci’s Gorgeous Gardenia (although I know that VLJ was released earlier than GG).
To say something positive: it has good lasting power (and moderate sillage), a BEAUTIFUL bottle (actually, it’s one of the cutest bottle I’ve ever seen), and in my country it’s more affordable than other designer perfumes. I think it’s a not-so-special everyday scent for spring and summer. I can imagine it as a young lady’s first ever perfume.
I also tried one of its flankers, Viva La Juicy Gold Couture, which I think is so much better than this! On me, Gold Couture would be 5 points, because it’s much more grown-up, fem
