Description

Virgin Island Water was inspired by a sailing trip near Ginger Island in the Caribbean. This unisex perfume celebrates the tropical splendor and exotic scents carried by the Trade Winds of Sir Francis Drake Channel.

It opens with a citrusy cocktail of white bergamot, Jamaican lime, Sicilian mandarin. The citruses are accompanied by a note of copra, the white inner flesh of the coconut. The heart includes intensive Indian jasmine and sweet hibiscus, exotic ylang-ylang and cold, spicy ginger. The base of the composition includes sugar cane, musk and white rum. Virgin Island Water was launched in 2007. Virgin Island Water was created by Olivier Creed Sixth Generation and Erwin Creed Seventh Generation.

I was looking for a fragrance that tasted like coconut and lightheartedness but I found a citrus, acidulous and sugary summer colony. This scent does not scream coconut on all sides … It screams LIME as if it were a cocktail and before smelling rum or coconut, the fragrance no longer exists: it is a creed. From virgin island water to Virgin Island Lime … good? Yes, but that’s not what I was looking for.
P.s. Put coconut in Ck One and you will get a similar result!

Oooh I love this! I found a bargain so a took a risk and bought a huge bottle and its just so yummy! Not obsessed with the opening (very much like a drink) but after a couple of minutes it just smells heavenly! Very fresh lime and a little bit coconuty (not overpowering though). My fiance hates it though, but whatever…would still repurchase! Lasts a decent amount on me (around 5-6 hours). Gorgeous summer scent!

Virgin Island Water is a fresh aromatic. The fragrance offers up a stunning tropical accord of fresh lime, coconut, and white rum‒dressed in a glistening haze of sweet cane sugar‒that presents itself as the signature to the fragrance. It’s quite pleasing, although seemingly the most obvious tropical arrangement. Someone had to do it—and I’m very glad it was Creed!
Virgin Island Water is sure to become a staple to anyone’s collection who tries it for the first time. It’s so refreshing and captivating with its lush qualities. It lifts your spirits up high—and keeps you feeling good wherever you go!
There is a legendary rumor that the vintage batches with blue caps are far superior to the modern ones with the silver caps. I can’t help but to dismiss this as a silly rumor though. Two very important things I would recommend about Virgin Island Water.
The first is that you’ll want to make sure that your bottle is a virgin. Creed uses a high percentage of natural ingredients in their fragrances (the highest percentage in France); which means they shouldn’t be expected to remain fresh for more than about two years. That is the general shelf-life for most natural ingredients.
The second is that you’ll want to make sure that your batch is a Millésime one. True Ambergris is said to be placed at the base of this fragrance like a jewel. However, true Ambergris is so expensive, I don’t think even Creed could meet the demand of their overhead worldwide.
Considering this, it’s very likely that Creed can’t actually afford to put real Ambergris in every bottle—but moreso reserve it for the Millésime bottles—and use a synthetic Ambergris accord for the standard ones. True Ambergris has many performance boosting properties: Projection, longevity, freshness—qualities you won’t likely find ever present themselves in the regular batches.
You might also want to consider shaking your bottle up real good before you apply it. Musk is heavy chemical that sinks to the bottom of fragrances. And as a synthetic note, it might be all that’s left in an older batch. Just some words of advice if you’re looking to blind-buy or sample this for the first time.
Virgin Island Water provides a truly legendary experience—but it’s one that just may play out just like your first romantic experience. Only as good as you are naive or wise.

I am from a tropical country with 7,107 islands and this does not remind me of my home. I have tried it 3 times on skin and it just won’t work with my skin chemistry.
Tommy Bahama cologne works on me better because it is light and airy. VIW for some reason smells heavy and doesn’t remind me of a tropical island, it’s more like a fake indoor tropical beach just like the one in Germany
(nothing against germany) been there twice, I love the country and people.
I have GIT, Original Santal and Aventus and those are worth my money, but this one is not. Even my wife said it doesn’t smell good on me.
I envy you if this perfume works with your skin chemistry.

A tropical trip in your home ,the same price of your vacation in a bottle . Cheap smell.

Nothing quite like this in the fragrance game, sun tan lotion lime with rum by the beach. The lime is so tart and reaching it always graces my nose with that strong silage. And the bright warm ambergris and sugar cane just puts a smile on everybody’s face around me. I’m an Aventus fan boy but this stuff is just as good at what it does and it destroys the entire Summer fragrance list bar none. 10/10

    PARADISE IN A BOTTLE
I get a nice tingly feeling when I smell this even just through the bottle. That playful lime with a hint of sweet coconut reminds me of a crystal clear tropical island beach. Perfect for vacations and for casual fun days in the daytime high summer heat. Projection and longevity is average on me. Absolutely fantastic fragrance.

Okay I said before this projects for 1 hour which is true. That is on skin though. On clothes this lasts all day. Spray your clothes with this if you have longevity issues.

Writing this review to help people who are looking for a PREDOMINANTLY coconut scent. IMO This is not it. I purchased this as a blind buy on Fragrance Net. I think it’s authentic since people have vouched for that site, but who knows. The point is I wanted something powerfully coconutty. The main thing I smell is a lime cocktail with some salt (think margarita without the tequila). If there is coconut it is completely masked by the fizzy lime note. Some people have said they mainly smell coconut or get a suntan lotion vibe from this, but on me I get absolutely no coconut or even that fake coconut vibe in suntan lotions. I know this is an unpopular opinion, but this scent was a big let down for me. I think it’s a nice fragrance if you know what you’re getting into and want more citrus than anything. I just wanted to help out people who are looking for something as close to the scent of actual coconut/coconut oil as possible.

I see a vintage colorized postcard of a woman on a pier in blinding white capri pants and a stripey top and her wayfarer sunglasses pushed up in her hair. Whether she or her husband (who is probably the one taking the photo) is wearing VIW is unclear, but it’s clearly the fragrance of an upscale Mojito-soaked vacation, and there’s nothing respectful about it.

The scent would be good but the longevity is dreadful… blue balls if you ask me – can’t possibly justify the price for an hour ride.

Review based off of a sample I purchased from 2013 and how this smelled on me and my fiancée (I don’t have the batch code)
This is a very nice scent that I very much enjoyed but unfortunately I will never buy a bottle of this. I love the scent but unfortunately it came off very feminine on my skin and also there are 2 alternatives I enjoy better.
On to the smell ! It opens up with a gorgeous, very natural tart and juicy lime note with coconut and some sweetness in the background ! (Simply gorgeous !) it’s quite loud on first spray but quickly calms down and your left with a sweet, coconut and sugary smell with the lime almost non existent but it is there slightly in the background. I also tried this on my girlfriend and she also liked it ( but not loved it) but on my her it was actually more rich and the rum and coconut were more pronounced then the lime on her and it still smelled feminine but oddly enough more masculine on her then on me.
Again, I loved this scent but I honestly LOVE the 2 clones better and my fiancée does as well. Tommy Bahama is similar but whereas Virgin Island is a Pina Colada smell Tommy Bahama smells like a Margarita. Also if I want the same exact smell as Virgin Island Water I’ll go with Hawaii Volcano. There almost identical smelling but Hawaii Volcano is richer, stronger, more appealing, performs better and way less expensive !
Performance— on me this only lasted 2-4 hours but on my fiancée this lasted 4-6 with average projection for an hour but a skin scent after that on both of us.
Overall rating – 7 out of 10 ! This gets a 9 out of 10 just on smell alone but performance on this is lacking for the price.
Sidenote— I’m telling you that Hawaii Volcano is an all around better scent ! It’s what Virgin Island Water wants to be. It’s also more masculine as well

An absurdly expensive blast of lime and coconut and sweetness that rapidly disappears.

This smells mouth-wateringly delicious. It is exquisitely blended and nuanced. Not a drop of it smells like less than the pure essence of natural ingredients.. It is nectar of the gods, and anyone who insults the quality of this ambrosia should be sent to Hades for irreverence. It is true that the sillage is about a half-foot, but it leaves a trail when you pass people. It is especially good for a summer date when you plan to get intimate. Creed’s aesthetic is tasteful, upper-class, and subtle, which is why they generally avoid loudly projecting fragrances. Repeat the mantra, “less is more,” because it is more than you think. Trust me, people don’t want to smell you, but should they happen to venture closer into your personal space, they’ll get an impression. Sillage is over-rated, especially if you have a girl on your arm. PS: Compliments galore 🙂 I’ve had a bottle for four years, and it’s three-quarters full. I either crack it out on super hot days in Toronto or bring a decant on a trip to the Caribbean.

Lime and coconut; pretty straight forward. I think I get more lime than coconut. It smells like a cocktail including the alcohol. Someone might think you’ve had a drink! White rum is the correct spirit. This is a light airy vacation type scent; smells very natural.
Unisex hot weather fragrance for any age. I don’t really find it sexy so it’s fine for work. Projection and sillage are average. Lasted about four hours before becoming soft. I could faintly pick it up the next day. It smells high quality and I like the notes but roll my eyes at Creed’s prices. VIW should last forever for what this costs. Nice scent but I’m not interested.

Had this on my want list .. Now I don’t.
After sampling it, it smelt of straight up lime.. Couldn’t detect any of the other notes. Didn’t change at all. Just faded down to a watery lemon smell. Didn’t even last 2 hours.

I am sorry but this smells just like cheap “coconut” car freshners at least that EXACTLY how they smell in France…

Lime and coconut. It starts off with coconut and lime and dries down into white rum, cane sugar, and coconut. The lime and coconut in this are both extremely superb and have the greatest iterations I’ve ever smelled in any fragrance – and I’m a huge lime affectionado, having tried and owned many lime colognes

  20. :

    3 out of 5

I’m writing a second review of this perfume – I’ve owned it for some time now and noticed that even though it’s apparently the perfect summer scent, I rather refrain from using it.
I wore it today with flip-flops and a gallabia, and then it hit me – the coconut.
Many fellow fragranticans mention citrus and lemon smells as those reminding them of detergents. Here the scent of coconut is used in many types of airfresheners. I realized the coconut in VIW somewhat reminds me of coconut-scented airfresheners. Lovely as this perfume is, I can’t shake away the resemblance, and sadly I can’t see myself using it for much more than a room and sheets scent.

  21. :

    3 out of 5

This smells good but the projection is so weak. You maybe get 1 hour of very low projection and silage. It then becomes a skin scent from there on. Coconut dominates this with the lime coming in second. This has a very natural smell but whats the point if no one can smell it on you. If I bought a full bottle of this from Creed I would be so upset. I honestly think if you splashed a pina colada on yourself it would project more. If you have ever seen Jeremy Fragrance’s comparison of this vs Aqva Amara and see how underwhelmed the girls in the video are you will understand why when you smell it. It has no wow factor.

I went back to see if my opinion had changed on this fine summer day.
The quality of creeds is not under dispute, but the composition and price are at times for me.
I get a harsh fleeting lime opening, a lovely soft sugar cane background, a light and airy coconut, a nuance of vanilla, soft sandalwood and a drop of vodka.
Overall a good smell, but there should be more coconut. It does well and smell much better in the high heat, 100 or so degrees.
I cannot justify it for the price and found tahitian waters that cost less than a tenth of the asking price and does the job for me.
I think this could be a fine gift for the lady or for a islander you love.
    I recommend a sniff

    A tropical trip
On each year, June the 1st is summer’s vesting date. Now, holidays are in full swing and everyone is thinking to a well-deserved vacation. The travel agencies have lots of requests. Whether or not we have time to travel, just imagine the steps leading to a travel agency named Creed. We knew about the wonderful offerings in their portfolio such as: Himalaya and Silver Mountain Water – a trip to the mountain or Green Irish Tweed – a trip to the beautiful Irish countryside. And what a surprise ! I’ve found that they are offering a sojourn for couples (the perfume is unisex), called Virgin Island Water. Due to the wonderful experiences I’ve had, I knew that Creed is offering a great itinerary with quality ingredient. So, I accepted their offer.
We flew to the West Indies and landed on the British Virgin Islands. The flight (debut) was dominated by citruses like bergamot and lime. Usefully we chose the business class so the two ingredients are well crafted.
Once we reached the island I whooped: “Let the fiesta begin !”. We were encountered with authentic coconut and rum. To my happiness the coconut note is not gourmand and the rum is not so boozy. They are balanced. What a delight ! It’s like you are enjoying a cocktail on sunny tropical beach. If I add the pineapple from Aventus I’ll be enjoying a Pina Colada. 🙂
Overall the perfume has a balanced tropical vibe that makes possible to avoid the zone called “suntan lotion”. Creed Virgin Island Water is spreading joy, desire to party and to discover beautiful places. These are the memories when we’ll get back home from our trip.
The holiday ticket I’ve bought (Virgin Island Water) was quite expensive. This perfume is suited for the summer season. We’ll definitely spend our next summer on the Bahamas. 🙂

First spray is a huge blast of Froot Loops. Lime green Froot Loops. Later you get a soft musky rum but the Froot Loops never truly leave. The Coconut is completely absent unless it is hiding in the boozy rum.
I agree with the review stating it is like sitting at a beach side bar. It is a bar for tourists with their drinks made with sugary, chemical-laden sweet and sour mix instead of fresh lime juice. This is definitely a casual scent, as I would be self conscious about smelling like I’ve been drinking around children or at work.
While this is unisex, and it has enough sugar for women to wear it, I think it skews male. The warm boozy musk combined with traditionally masculine bergamot and lime would make any guy smell of salt drenched skin next to that tourist bar in a freshly laundered shirt.
There is zero projection on my skin and it doesn’t even last two hours on my skin on a sub-tropical summer evening.

  25. :

Virgin Island Water is one of those scents that I wouldn’t purchase, but I have to sit back and enjoy the beautiful wafts coming off of someone who has. It’s an effortless scent that I probably wouldn’t have enjoyed at all a few years ago due to the association with alcohol that is all but unavoidable. It’s a tropical beach, malibu rum cocktail in hand and a beautiful person by your side. No kids, no worries, no ‘how’. Just relaxation for when you’re at work, wishing you were somewhere else.

  26. :

    4 out of 5

is there anything similar to this but more feminine? VIW has the most amazing coconut note but the lime and rum, while I do enjoy them, are too strong for me and overpower the natural coconut note. VIW would be very nice on a man but I wish there was a version that was the same with just the lime and rum toned down a tad. This smells like the beach, but like sitting at the beach-side bar rather than sunbathing or strolling through the warm tropics.

  27. :

    5 out of 5

Like Onthemark user explained VIW smells mostly coconuty on some people while on others the lime dominates the notes. On myself I barely smell coconut… But I get a wonderful lime freshness… Initially on smelling this fragrance on another woman, I thought that I’m smelling a sort of sweet interesting mint… No coconut. But, l suppose the type of skin that we have and how our noses perceive smell make a huge difference. I really enjoy this perfume. On my skin it stays 3 to 4 hours and the sillage is moderate…(my experience). I still recommend it because it’s the perfect summer scent

Where Tommy Bahama St. Barts is a nice mojito/sunscreen type summer fragrance, VIW can be thought of as its more tempered and refined brother. They are very recognizably related in some way, but in every way save for value, VIW is the superior of the two – but let’s be clear: I really like and happily own both.
I was fortunate enough to purchase my bottle of VIW straight from the source in Paris. The very helpful salesperson explained to me (in a very alluring French accent) that VIW has a way of showing more coconut on some people’s skin and more lime on others. That’s pretty slick, I thought — until I tried some on. Sure enough, the first impression was of a coconut-dominant citrus melange that I have to say just screamed tropical vacation. Comforting and just lovely. And then it happened — that coconut fell back — still there, but now playing second fiddle to a magnificent natural lime. And yes, I could also pick up some of the other notes — ylang-ylang, rum, florals, citrus, musk — all apart yet fitting nicely together, in true Creed fashion. But yeah, I guess you can say I’m a lime guy where this one is concerned. Wonderful stuff, suited for informal occasions on a hot day or summer night. Sillage and projection are moderate and longevity really varies but is reasonably good for such a light, summery scent.
Is VIW worth the steep price you have to pay to get it? Probably not, as it is but one in a very crowded field of excellent entries in its genre. But It’s still brilliant and I’m glad to own a bottle. For most hot days, Tommy Bahama St. Barts will do just fine. VIW is to be reserved for those times when you want the vibe but also want to class it up a bit. Two sides to the same coin, the two complement each other very nicely.

It’s great and perfect if you want to smell like sun tan lotion a very expensive one!! It is a pass for me.
The problem for me is that the coconut note is too strong in this scent and takes center stage.

  31. :

Doesn’t smell bad but… to me is like suntan lotion with lime. In my opinion, it’s not worth it.

  32. :

    3 out of 5

Pina Colada in a bottle; from the way many of these reviews talk about VIW you’d think its overpriced and smells like synthetic suntan lotion but I found this fragrance to smell very natural and enjoyable, It opens with a lime coconut blast that feels like your at a beach seaside with palm trees surrounding you. The dry down is a sweet coconut rum that isn’t cloying or synthetic at all. In my opinion this is the PERFECT warm weather summer vacation fragrance, It’s super refreshing start to finish and I haven’t smelled anything that catches it’s essence.

  33. :

    4 out of 5

I have a decant of this. It was the coconut note that made me get hold of some Virgin Island Water. I do not get any coconut here at all. Just lime, and what a lovely lime it is! Really natural smelling. It is a beautiful citrussy and fresh fragrance and I have fallen in love with it, however, I just can not justify the price. As stunning as it is, I do not find it complex enough to warrant the cost. It’s just the smell of freshly squeezed ripe lime to my nose. I could probably justify buying myself a bottle if it was a killer at longevity and had immense sillage but it lasted a couple of hours on me before it disappeared.

  34. :

    3 out of 5

A summer beach resort, that beautiful girl with sunkissed face who sits next to you at the swimming pool – this scent has notes of candied fruit that begin a little too sweet for a unisex fragrance but settles down into a heady exotic cocktail bar of rum and sugar and ginger that seems like a really great evening but just like that summer girl the pleasure lacks personality and fades too soon.
Most notes fade within an hour of my skin… if I was gifted a bottle I’d wear it and use it up within a few weeks but I wouldn’t spend the rrp.

  35. :

    3 out of 5

Very unique and innovative fragrance. I dont think you will find something that smells like it my opinion.
The opening is very uplifting with high quality lime and ginger, then the coconut/sugar takes over and remains for long time. The projection is 1 hr and its from then a sugary coconut skin scent as if it was a scented lotion. The creed base DNA is very faint but luckily it is still there.
I like it although it is not one of my top creeds. It is casual, refreshing and nice if you get it from a discounter.

  36. :

One of the most feminine Creeds in the entire line-up. I’d rather actually rock a strictly labeled feminine Creed than this. It’s bascially sun tan lotion in a 300 dollar bottle. I’m sure there’s far cheaper options that smell better and achieve the same vibe so for me another overated Creed. I’d happily put this in a glass bottle and send it out to sea and hope it never returned. my only wish would be that I got my money back. Daylight robbery.

summer in a bottle . This is actually my dogs (yes my dog) favorite fragrance on me lol But she loves coconut and lime so it makes sense. If you live by the beach or just want to feel like your on vacation get it lol it mixes good with suntan or sunscreen to which is a plus

coconut, lime, and rum…sets a uplifting vibe for the summer..i hate virgin island water but i wont trade it for any other frag..what i hate is that after i apply, 3 hours later its gone. but its amazin. so i carry a viw atomizer.. constantly refilling. the more affordable alternative would be st. barts but its not as vibrant….viw is amazin in the spring and summer with a poor performance..i luv it,but i hate, but i love it.

My decision journey to buy a full bottle of VIW is taking a bit longer. Well, 3 years. And still I can never be sure if this is worth the price. I have tried VIW so much, and not sure if it’s changing per batch but I never get the same scent. Like there’s no stability. Sometimes I get coconut heavy, and sometimes lime heavy. In most cases the performance is so bad, that it vanishes in an hour or so. Therefore I’m still very skeptical about this one, but the scent (no matter if coconut or lime takes the lead) is so good for summer, very hard to resist. However one would expect at least a certain standard from a niche house like Creed, and a bit more lasting power.

  40. :

    5 out of 5

Creed as a fragrance house isn’t very impressive to me since many of their fragrances have just as good or sometimes even better clones, for example Aventus and its clone Armaf Club de Nuit Intense Man. And some Creeds are just uninspiring and smell kind of boring to my nose like Millesime Imperial and Erolfa. Others just have really great alternatives at a way cheaper price like Mugler Cologne is to Creed’s Original Vetiver or Montblanc Individuel is to Creed’s Original Santal. However Virgin Island Water stands apart from the crowd in that it is a Creed fragrance perhaps worth owning. I own and love Tommy Bahama Set Sail St. Barts but it is totally different from Virgin Island Water as the former has tequila and lime and an agave, palm leaf, and guava juice drydown which eventually becomes vanilla and white musk. Virgin Island Water however starts off with coconut and lime and dries down into white rum, cane sugar, and coconut. The lime and coconut in this I might add are both extremely superb and the greatest iterations of lime and coconut I’ve ever smelled in any fragrance – and I’m a huge lime affectionado, having tried and owned many lime colognes. There is really nothing else like it on the market except perhaps Bath and Body Works’ Coconut Lime Breeze or Coconut Lime Verbana. But both of them have horrible longevity and sillage while the Creed is a beast, which is part of its charm. Also it’s totally unisex. It really smells like a pina colada on your body. Overall I think this is the greatest fragrance ever made by Creed (followed by Original Vetiver).

As lovely as Virgin Island Water is, when I tested it at Saks, it did NOT last on me. I was shocked, given the rave reviews and price point. Upon first spray, I got a beautiful blend of lime and coconut, as well as the rum and sugar cane. After a half an hour, the drydrown was a lovely (but faint) pure coconut. I spent about 2 hours at the store after spraying it on my wrist, and by the time I was ready to leave, the scent was completely non-existent! Not even a skin scent, it was gone! Very disappointing. I have Tommy Bahama’s St. Bart’s (for men) and, although the scent is not exactly the same, it does give me a similar feeling (I actually like it better, which I didn’t expect). St. Bart’s lasts on my boyfriend (and myself) for at least 4-5 hours, if not longer. If you don’t have any luck with Virgin Island Water or are looking for something more affordable, I believe that St. Bart’s is a great alternative. I absolutely love it, it’s one of my favorites!
As a sidenote, it seems as though my boyfriend and I did not have much luck with Creed, as he sampled Aventus and it was also completely non-existent on him by the time we left Saks. I say this with confidence because, in comparison to Armaf’s Club De Nuit Intense (which lasts 14+ hours on him, no joke), Aventus had absolutely no lasting power! The formulation was cleaner and more pure, no doubt, but it was EXACTLY the same scent, just with zero lasting power. Absolutely crazy.
I don’t know if something was wrong with the bottles they were using for testing at Saks that day, but we did not have any luck with the Creed fragrances we tried. 🙁

Before I bought it I really loved the top notes. But after I did I noticed that the middle notes that came a bit after are even more wonderful which is a great thing!
During the transfer from the topnotes to the middlenotes there is 10ish min of no scent at all all of a sudden but then the middle notes kicks in giving an even better fragrance than the topnotes. Never experiennced this before!
For me, this is definitely a summer fragrance. But it also works on really hot days. It doesn´t beat Aventus(which can be used the whole year). But this is a summer fragrance you should get!

Put the lime in the coconut, drink ’em bot’ up…
    This scent makes me happy!
Smells like fresh husked coconut and fresh squeezed lime on me. I detect the slightest bit of jasmine but it is very light. Very beautiful for the summertime. I could wear this all summer long.

A beautiful fragrance with notes of lime, white bergamot, island wood, coconut, fresh herbs, ylang, musk tonkin and jasmine. A fragrance of serenity and tropical sweetness. The Virgin Islands, their white and exotic beaches, their wild nature have inspired the perfumer Olivier Creed and his son Erwin. Virgin Island Water is a sweet tropical trip as an invitation: Close your eyes, and dream … The engine of your little plane is slowly swirling over these Caribbean islands …

I blind-bought a bottle today and find it smells very much like Zegna Bourbon Vanilla. The only noteworthy difference is the opening as there is no citrus in Zegna Bourbon Vanilla. For me Virgin Island Water is a beach / summer scent. Unfortunately, it doesn’t project very well. I like it but I don’t think I’ll by another bottle once I’ve finished the current one.

I agree, this is the wearable version of Malibu rum, a delicious drink by the way. I’m wearing it today, which is the end of March and pretty cold out. I say wear this in the winter when you long for the summer and it will teleport you there.

Barbados Coconut Rum called “Malibu” tastes exactly the same this fragrance smells, if that makes sense. It’s a sexy alluring beach gourmand. Long lasting perfume but poor projection. This is my Creed Trio for life:
    Aventus: For day time.
    Royal Oud: For night time.
Virgin Island Water: For the beach.
    Honor mention to:
Green Irish Tweed: For casual wear.

This is just amazing. I feel it’s best on a sunny day with a chilly breeze. In the opening I can smell a lot of lime. After 5 mins, coconut appears, supported by rum, ginger and some florals in the background.
This is a type of fragrance that I would never buy, but I would love to get it as a gift.

first whiff – reminds me of the consistency of marizipan (does not smell like marizipan though), i want to bite into this. very soon after it just smells like rum and coke to me, makes me feel a bit drunk. the smell is ok, as all creeds i’ve been smelling it’s pure and clean, pristine – but kind of one dimensional. this makes my mouth water, i keep thinking of eating a sweet candy with this. but when my nose isn’t shoved up against my wrist, i just keep thinking of pirates and caribbean coconut rum and coke. it’s all right, just not for me.

I wanted to try this fragrance for ages and so wanted to love it, but it just doesn’t work for me. It started out promising with a burst of fresh lime and coconut but within a couple of minutes I just get spice. Unfortunately this makes me think of Old Spice and smells too masculine for my liking. Still searching for my ultimate summer fragrance…
