SeanAA – I just tried this today. You read my mind about Polo Green pre-reformulation.

Tested on skin. Nice leather/tobacco frag, but performance problems.
Nicely priced on online discount site, may buy it anyways.
Fall/Spring day or evening, maybe even summer evenings. 30+
Edit: I bought it ($25 tester). Nice frag, but I confirm the projection is really low, and overspraying is needed.
Edit (encore): very frustrating frag. Great scent, but low projection, thus useless to wear outside of home.

Beautiful fall fragrance. My perfume snobbery led me away from it for a while. It smells higher quality and more natural than much more expensive offerings that I have. Who cares if I have to bring a travel decant to re apply. I travel with a bottle usually anyway. World class sophisticated cool guy/cool weather scent.
Also if you are getting hugs everyone will compliment you. It’s not loud enough to receive a lot of compliments otherwise but if you’re getting hugs everyone will say how nice it is and even ask what you’re wearing. I’m surrounded by people with world class taste, these are the people who would be hugging me and who have asked.
This is hipster boots (John Varvatos ones), Levi 501s, white tee, and leather jacket.
This smells a little bit like Chanel Platinum Egoiste added a darker touch and a strong leather accord.
Scent lasts much longer on clothes. Aptly named.

I know that exists Jazz Club by Maison Martin Margiela, but for me JV Vintage should be named like this. When I smell Vintage I imagine some Jazz club in the mid of fifties, super sexy black guys, smoke, whiskey glasses, music, laugh and nice light ambience.
Vintage has pretty good projection on my skin, but totally disappears after 5-7 hours. In terms of its cost this is a good deal.
It’s not masculine, but pleasant and elegant. Just put on smile and JV Vintage – you’ll be good.

    Batch Code; 5kb2
All JV batch codes are under “Elizabeth Arden” as they own the licensing
    Date of manufacture;
    August 2015 (CheckFresh.com & CheckCosmetic.net)
Finally! Another unmistakably masculine scent from JV!
Early on, I detect slight hints of my other two faves from JV, JV-Og and Dark Rebel, but it’s still very different from the two. I whole-heartedly believe that the pre-reformulation of Polo Green was the inspiration for this one.
I’m new to this and not very familiar with individual notes yet. True to JV form, this is not a simple, linear scent, but complex and deep. JV also uses some uncommon (for “mall scents”) notes that I don’t get to experience elsewhere.
It begins more sweet than bitter, then turns more bitter, then the scales tip back again to more sweet on the drydown for me. Something about it, especially in the drydown reminds me a lot of the parts of the pre-reformulation Polo Green that I love so much. I really think that is the vintage inspiration for this scent. The faint scent it leaves on clothing the next day makes me want to spray it again. This is quickly becoming one of my favorites.

The tart rhubarb is unique. I think it’s what gives this fragrance a “vintage”vibe. Interesting scent. Currently Winter-time and need further exposure in real-world, hotter scenarios. But worth a test, if you like a “twist” to your ephemeral projections …

  7. :

The only problem is projection, it becomes skin scent after 2-3 hours.
The smell is gorgeous. It has sweetness, but not too much, it has tobacco, but it is soft and not annoying, it has some earthy notes, but they are not overpowering. The blend is so high quality. This is one of my favorite colognes, because smell is so good and pretty unique.
If I would have to keep only one fragrance of such type (tobacco with some sweetness) it definitely would be this one.
    Smell: 10/10 with A+ quality
    Silage: 5/10
    Longevity: 6/10

First of all, I can say JV-Og definitely surprised me aswell, but after 2 weeks I realized (JV-OG) has similar vibe with Moshino UOMO mixed with D&G PH. Between of JV Og and JV Vintage I can say Vintage is the true winner. Scent itself has more character with a good masculin aroma and really balanced notes and its also modern.
Also I got a sense this scent is more (Air player) intead of skin player.
    Overall 8,5./10
    Well done John Varvatos Vintage

Looking for a scent you’ve never smelt before, a fragrance to soothe the senses, a cologne to transport your mind and soul beyond the mundane, that special WOW perfume, the smell of the unexpected that conjures images of the past (or the future)?
    Look elsewhere.
Vintage is a peppery fruity woody brew that wishes it smelt vintage.

To my nose, JVV is a fabulous though short lived fragrance, with both the complexity of a 90’s powerhouse and the evolution of a much more expensive product.
Vintage starts you off with a manly punch in the nose – cinnamon, clove (though not listed) and a slightly bitter, camphoric quality that I imagine is the result of the fir, wormwood and juniper berries. It reminds me somewhat of a pleasantly aromatic muscle rub like Tiger Balm – but only for a short while.
After a few minutes, I pick up a combination of florals and leather that really evokes the DNA of Dior Fahrenheit or Ferrari Uomo – that almost soapy leather quality. And I mean this in a GOOD way. It’s not in your face petrol leather like either of the two mentioned, but that essence is definitely in play along with the dominant spice base (which I am told bears a resemblance to Burberry London). From there, all its heavier elements remain in play, though softening up rapidly over 2-3 hours, remaining mostly a really nice skin scent for most of its duration.
JVV honestly smells beastly (again, in a good way), but it doesn’t behave so. Its sillage and projection are very modest, and its longevity shorter than one would expect from such an aromatic fragrance. But while it lasts, it’s all at one time a reverent nod to past greats as well as a modern day paradox of the harnessed power frag. And although I would wish for better longevity, I still love this stuff.

If you like this one and want a parfume version, with similar feel and notes – check out Winsor by English Laundry(not yet listed in database).
The original works fine for me though, for what it’s worth.

A smooth and easy going voyage of tobacco, suede and a touch of tonka. Sigh…I just wish it projected a bit longer.

  16. :

To me it opens with a tart citrus and mellows down with rhubarb, pine/fir, coriander, pepper and faint suede. If there’s tobacco, it’s not prominent to my nose. I gotta admit I’ve not smelt rhubarb in a fragrance, and here it gives the fragrance a little kick and uniqueness. Having said that, it doesn’t cry out and grab me, not enough to be bottle worthy. A great fragrance.
Not great projection and sticks close to the skin for me after 90 minutes

  17. :

Was looking for a modern better version of drakkar.Picked up azzaro sliver black and that gave me a fresher take on drakkar. However, the strong citrus in it quickly got tiresome.
Enter vintage… yes. This does it, the tobacco and suede kind of giving a worn by someone else vibe and the scent left on clothes more inviting and less brash than either of the other two mentioned..
The individual notes are hard to pick out but the blend is beautiful. Not a projector but JV is the king of skin scents and that’s what I like.
This is good juice. leather jacket, dressed up, but I’m not a gym wearer so not sure about that. You could wear anytime other than daytime summer.

  18. :

I’m not sure I can add more than what has already been said here. If you grew up in the 80’s/90’s, the scent of Vintage will be reminiscent of something you’ve smelled before. But that’s the beauty of this juice. It’s like a puzzle. Each time I’ve worn it, I get reminded of something different. From a very tame Polo green to A&F Woods, there’s something in this juice that will take you back. That being said, there’s no reason why it shouldn’t be worn today. Although not groundbreaking, it smells terrific and doesn’t really project loudly which makes it ok for the office. Truth be told, this isn’t something you wear to get compliments, if that’s what you’re after. Vintage is basically a throwback, playful scent that you wear for personal satisfaction. Longevity is 3-4 hours, making it a good short-term choice.

I was shopping around for a fragrance for my dad (born 1962). My dad likes the 80’s powerhouses like Opium, Antaeus, Poison, you name it. I sniffed Vintage in store and it was what I was aiming for. I bought it for him, and most importantly, he thinks it smells great! This was back in 2008 though. I hope it hasn’t been reformulated.

  20. :

This is a heavily woodsy scent. I don’t detect most of the notes listed in the pyramid above, certainly not tobacco or suede.
Although it’s not listed, I smell a lot of cedar, maybe eucalyptus, and definitely the juniper element that gives it a kind of gin-and-tonic flavor.
I would say it’s a dead ringer for the old Abercrombie & Fitch Woods fragrance, but it’s been a long time since I owned that scent, so I can’t compare the two and say for sure.
It’s a little like stepping into a wardrobe made of cedar wood. I like it.

    i’m wearing this right now.
    It’s piercing though the cold….
Like i can smell it though my stuffy nose and i spray this over an hour ago.
    Not bad.
And still has an old man vibe to it thou.
    I like it as whole…
There’s no way i can break down that note list…Geezzus!
That list is huge for a modern fragrance.
I expect this more from late 80’s & early 90’s power house fragrance.
I’ll give this one to my old man, he’ll love this.
This isn’t a scent for me.
    But it ain’t bad.
I picture someone using this…in jeans and tee…maybe sitting back on the couch, relaxing.
I used six sprays…both wrist, back & front of my neck, chest and front of my shirt.
    Will I buy this again?…No.
Does this fragrance enter BEAST MODE, good, just okay or weak sauce at best? Good.
What’s the strength of this? EDT.
Am i willing to trade this fragrance? Yes.
Should You Skipped It, Sample It First or Blind Buy It? Sample it!
Can you use it as a unisex scent? No.
Is it the old, new formulation? Old.
What’s its availability; in production, limited edition or discontinued? In production.

I don’t get this one, unless the formulas has changed…
I get pungent, tart sweetness with synthetic leather, drying down with some wet tobacco and generic spices.
A pretty vile concoction until far dry down. At first, really cloying tart and sweetness that I just couldn’t deal with.
Tried it twice and said there would not be a third.
    Performance seemed quite strong, unfortunately.

I don’t get the comparison of Polo Green and Burberry London because the 2012 version I have is completely different than those two fragrances. Maybe the latest version does smells different than the version I have. Mine is leather, tobacco, rhubarb, and some musk. In contrast Polo and Burberry have lots of pine and woods. All 3 colognes are completely different. Vintage is the perfect autumn scent and very masculine. Polo and Burberry are ideal winter and Christmas time fragrances and also just as masculine.

  24. :

Smells like old school Polo (Green). I guess that’s what then meant by “Vintage”.
However, I will say that the heart of this fragrance is waaaaay better than Polo! It smells of rich mahogany and many leather bound books …also a cigar box.lol

@Gourmet Fragrances…Cool! Unfortunately though, my piss still smells like piss.
But I really dig this scent. Varvatos is one of my top 3 designers and Vintage is probably my favourite, since I’m a big fan of tobacco. The entire line just has this grown-up, big boy quality that suits me perfectly. Heck, I wore the original Polo in the 9th grade and this has that same vibe to it (though a little smoother), especially in the drydown. Leather, fir, cinnamon and patchouli – what a fantastic combo. At least, after the rhubarb nuke you get off the top. Brown bottle, light green juice.
Sure, we all wish they had better performance, but spray your clothes people, or at least invest in a travel atomiser. Anyone and everyone who ownes a leather jacket or drinks heavily should own a Varvatos bottle. Pay some homage to the men that raised us. Get drunk and smell like Vintage.
    Or you know…Burberry London.

John varvatos vintage is nothing special.
This fragrance didn’t do much for me. A very boring concoction of I don’t know what, but that’s the very point, I want to understand my fragrances and I just can’t make this one out. But that’s just my opinion, there’s loads of people on here who love it. Lucky I bought the 75ml bottle, I’ll just chuck this one, oh well got to blind buy these cheaper fragrances & some times I win & some i lose. Anyway not a bigge, onwards to bigger and better smells.
By the way this reminded me of ckin2u which jettison said smells like the laundry which I totally get, this scent reminded me of that one but a bit better.
    5/10. Smell

  30. :

Burberry London is comparable but superior in every sense. JV Vintage is a budget Mugler fragrance with a budget smell. If you don’t have the money for a Mugler, go for Burberry London

This is a nice scent. It’s one of my go to scents and I’m always pleased with it. It’s got a nice spicy, sweet, leathery aroma that makes you smile. To me it is definitely a classic ‘vintage’ scent. Like a very refined leathery Old Spice. This is another one that will remain in my collection for years to come.

My first impression today: I stopped by the mall (not too far out of the way, on the way home from work) and sprayed it directly on my wrist. Maybe I was just tired, but couldn’t make out any individual notes, but although there’s NOT a cherry note listed, about half-an-hour into dry-down I smelled a very nice herbal CHERRY-something, as a few others have mentioned (I suspect maybe the fennel, lavender, and basil together?). Very nice, I wouldn’t mind OWNING Vintage, and I don’t say that too often.

  33. :

what a nice fragrance, tobacco, suede, pine tree, cinnamon, juniper berries and rhubarb. So a manly outdoorsy scent with fruity elements… can’t complain with that:)
2-4 sprays, it has a good projection and its not overpowering.
    last 7 to 10 hours
Fall, winter and early spring. Office, dates, casual and night out. Somewhat very versatile for a confident man.would fit to 25 years old +.
    so I give 8.5/10

  34. :

I really like JV Vintage. It’s a good cool weather/night time choice. I mostly get leathery/tobacco vibe from it. A bit sweet but not overly so. It does feel like a modern interpretation of a classic type scent. It has a lot of the players in a powerhouse 70s scent – oakmoss, patchouli, fir, tobacco, suede, etc.
I’m shocked that people are reporting performance problems with this. I have issues with other Varvatos fragrances but two sprays of Vintage and I’m surrounded by a pretty heavy cloud for easily over 12 hours.

  35. :

    5 out of 5

Opens up spicy, incense, a syrupy opening, like flat Coca Cola syrup in fact. Lots of clove, spiced up like a holiday dinner. The Coca Cola syrup that i am picking up is the rhubarb note? I have not eaten nor smelt rhubarb so it is a guess on my end.
I get a lot of the fir in this, and as it settles the fir to my nose ramps up to be an equal player to tobacco, spice, and that syrup note. Longevity is better than most Varvatos fragrances but this might be the very best smelling fragrance in his lineup. I vascillate between this and the criminally short lasting dark rebel. Fall and winter is best but a cool spring day or night is fine as well. I love to wear this dressed up because it is class personified. A more mature crowd, 30 and up I’d say will enjoy this most.
I came home one day and my wife said to me “what is that cologne you left on the counter? It is exactly how a man should smell”. She loves it, so do i, and you may very well love it too. Again this can be found discounted and it is a STEAL.

So I personally really like this as it’s a gorgeous scent that’s really well blended but unfortunately in my experience I haven’t received the best feedback. The general feedback I’ve received is it smells ok but it’s too old mannish and I agree to some extent but to my nose it’s a modern take on a traditional style of perfumery.
To describe this scent I’d say it’s a nice blend of suede and leather giving this a dark feel but I also really get the lavender giving this some freshness but also a nice barbershop type of feel and what you get from the opening is pretty much what you get for the duration of the fragrance.
A lot of people have said they get performance issues but on my skin this performs very well. For the first hour this is beast mode (with only 3 sprays) and then shortly after that it becomes a scent that leaves a foot and a half bubble around you for the rest of the fragrance life. This lasts on me 6-10 hours !
I love this scent but if this received better feedback I’d give this a 9 out of 10 but I’ve only received bad feedback, neutral feedback and no positive feedback so for that reason I’ll have to rate this a 7 out of 10 !
Redeeming factors for this is the uniqueness and because I personal love this

I think you’d be hard pressed to find anybody who finds this to be an offensive smell. There is nothing sharp, funky, or unusual about it. It’s not too sweet, it’s not too dry. It’s just a nice plain scent. It’s certainly a masculine smell, but in my opinion it’s not exclusively a mature scent. Grandson and grandfather could pull it off equally as well.

  38. :

    4 out of 5

Vintage is meant to recreate a classic vintage men’s cologne of the barbershop, with traditionally masculine scents of tobacco, leather, spices, and woods. It’s nondescript and not complex enough to mirror an authentic classic man’s cologne like say Chanel’s Pour Monsieur or Guerlain’s Habit Rouge, or Revlon’s That Man! However it does have some things in common with those fragrances, smelling of 1940’s and 1950’s MAD men’s business suits, men’s leather briefcases, the aroma of Cuban cigars, and the old time gentlemen’s clubs (not a strip club) featuring billiards/pool tables, leather couches, woodsy interiors, cigars and booze. I’m thinking of London’s West End, or Savile Club at 69 Brook Street. A place where a man can be away from the domesticity of the home and the wife, and spend time with men his own age and his own social class. But far from being a specific place, it’s only a mental image that comes to mind when one inhales this scent, and though linear and simple, it does have a vintage feel, true to it’s moniker.
Vintage starts off spicy and vegetal, dark, almost like the smell of a Middle Eastern restaurant kitchen but more subdued with top notes of wormwood, basil, rhubarb, fennel, quince and pepper. Out of all the these notes the pepper and the basil project their spicy airs, so if you like a spicy opening and not a citrus opening, this would satisfy you. It has no citrus or fruit notes so it never has a sweetness nor freshness in contrast to so many men’s citrus based colognes. In it’s heart there are minimal amounts of juniper berries and a more fragrant lavender floral note, atypical of most vintage men’s fragrances. There is a jasmine but it’s hard to pick up. Orris root or iris is supposed to be in the mix but I never found this fragrance’s heart to be all that floral and only the lavender comes through. There is hardly any powder note though orris usually comes through as powdery in fragrance. The florals seem to want to turn green, and there are green leaves as a note here, recreated through aroma chemicals and smelling like a realistic green plant or shrub. Here begins the green theme that dominates the dry down. The base notes consist of vanilla and tonka, patchouli, oak moss, balsam, fir, and woods.
Lots of scents right? But it’s so balanced and not overdone. As the cologne begins to dry on your skin it morphs into herbal patchouli leaves and green moss of oak. The vanilla and tonka are not as strong here but there is a faint vanilla coming through with fir and balsamic notes, medicinal and sharp, not a sweet vanilla. The dry down is pleasantly woodsy and potent, and yes very masculine because before long you smell that leather and suede. Smells just like leather belts, leather couches and suede apparel: shoes, and jackets. The musk is not as big an animal as musk in other men’s fragrances. This is mainly a green aromatic fougere, with notes that never seem to want to scream and instead caress and float around you: spices, basils, fennel, rhubarb, pepper, lavender, patchouli, oak moss, woods and leathers.
This fragrance is mature but can be worn by a man in his late 20’s and in his 30’s if he has enough experience wearing this type of classic vintage style cologne. It’s a confident and sophisticated but modest fragrance. It can be worn out in public if applied lightly for a man about town who makes trips for both business and pleasure. It smells best in winter and autumn and smells great from arm’s length at a restaurant booth like the Russian Tea Room in Manhattan New York City or again any gentleman’s club in London. It’s remarkably vintage and yet modern. A cologne for the “Most Interesting Man in the World” commercials, an older but dynamic man a Hemingway type, with traveling experience, living experience, women, wives, sons, grandsons, money, estates, properties, and with experience in many arenas: science, medicine, politics, real estate, business, industry. It is a fragrance for CEOS past and present. Howard Hughes would have loved this cologne. Hugh Hefner. Steve Wynn. Tom Ford. Don Draper from MAD MEN. Donald Trump. Gordon Gecko. Wall Street winners, and or guys like me who want to at least smell that good and look that good in a suit and tie.

Started wearing this again since it’s Christmas time. I love love love the scent. And really, I’ve noticed that the performance is really not bad. It lasts all day on me and throughout the day I catch my scent trail and smell it beaming off my neck and shirt. Now, I will say, this is a bottle that I have had since 2012. Maybe it’s been tweaked but my bottle is actually a champ. It’s like a fruity dark pipe tobacco that smells interesting, masculine and cozy. JOhn varvatos makes some really nice smelling juice. Could be someones fall/winter signature scent.

This was one of my first fragrances and I remember it smelling amazing but the performance was utterly weaksauce.
Sold it at a garage sale simply because it did not project.
    Smell: 8.5/10
Performance: Generous 3/10 and that’s because I’m having a good day.
Excellent for cuddling on the sofa near the fireplace with your loved one in the winter but beyond that it’s useless.

Top notes is as manly of a fragrance as you’ll find without being over the top like Aramis, Quorom, Kouros, and other masculines. The problem is the longevity is very poor. The drydown is a little stale on my skin so I need to refresh often to enjoy JVV. If this had better longevity this would be in my top 3 out of 60+ fragrances in my collection. This is ideal for a New England autumn enjoying a cuban cigar with Crown Royal whisky. My bottle is almost empty and I’m debating on whether or not to re-order because the longevity issue really irks me

Absolutely little coming through. The smallest hint of mint and nothing esle. Scent doesn’t last any longer than the time it takes to spray it on.
I’m really wondering if I have bought a dud.

If you like tobacco scents, well do we have a fragrance for you! Seriously though, John Varvatos Vintage is amazing. You get a very non-synthetic fine tobacco leaf scent out of this one, and it smells great, like a vintage, empty cigar humidifier that once stored some Cubans. I bought this around March, so springtime, and it smelled pretty great, but I could really see this one shining in the Winter.

  45. :

    4 out of 5

Absolutely love this scent! It has a sweeter tobacco note that is prominent to my nose which I believe to be the result of the rhubarb. There are a hints of spice and I do not get any of the green notes listed. It sits closer to the skin which is perfect for this scent, however, it does not last more than 4 hours for me. This is a great scent to wear during the evenings and for more masculine men. Classic.

  46. :

This is clearly inspired by ’80s powerhouses, but it’s much thinner and more synthetic than the originals it’s paying homage to. I didn’t detect any single note in the opening; it’s more of a combined oily/leathery effect, with something off-puttingly ‘meaty’ about it. After 5 or 10 minutes, I could pick out the fir, which is a note I like, but it seemed a bit thin/flat here. After 20 minutes, the oakmoss (or, more likely, Evernyl, which is synthetic oakmoss) note appeared and added an airless, clay-like atmosphere that I found fairly depressing. Others seem to be getting more out of this scent, so maybe it just doesn’t work with my chemistry.

A great tobacco fragrance! Super unique, very pleasant scent and extremely sexy! Projection is ok (I believe that reaches the purpose that the brand wants) as well the longevity. Despite the fact that the tobacco is the main note in this one, I dont see only mature guys wearing it, if you are 25+ in age go for it without fear!

A sweet leather-smoky scent, classic but in a modernish way. Some warm spicy note is also noticable.
For more serious, sophisitaced men in every age.
Love it on my fianceé as well (under 30)

I love I love I love this scent on my boyfriend. He has always been an outdoorsy, workin’-with-his-hands type. I wanted to get something for him to wear when we go out that a.) he would like, and b.) would reflect the type of guy he is. Vintage perfectly captured that.
I’ll start out by saying this is a fairly modern scent. That’s not to say it’s for the well-off young professional at the club (1 Million comes to mind). It just definitely reflects what comes to mind when modern people of my age THINK vintage /things/ smell like, and not actually what vintage scents are like! I’d still recommend it for 25+ in age.
On my boyfriend, the fir stands out more than anything. “Smells like tree sap– I like it!” he said! And he’s right! The suede and tobacco are definitely in there, as well as the tonka beans and cinnamon. The sweetness is there but so so faint on my boyfriend. Your mileage may vary, of course, but don’t buy this one for that.
Sillage and projection is nice for a very short amount of time, then stays close to the skin for about 5 hours. Not great longevity, obviously, but I like the scent enough to forgive that.

I fall back in love with my fiance every time he wears this.
    Such a wonderful earthy scent.

Couldn’t find the “sweet” notes on this one, despite what says here on Fragrantica.
This fragrance clashes old with modern, it does smells a little “old”, which is nice, regarding the “Vintage” thing.
(mostly due to the strong suede notes, I think)
Something in it makes it modern too, can’t say exactly why though. Probably some of the other notes.
    Good scent, anyway!
Sillage is nice on the first 45 minutes, then stays soft for around 4-5hrs on me.

The projection and almost nonexistent. Fixation also leaves to be desired, a pity because until liked the scent of this vintage Varvatos version.

Warm, leathery, somewhat sweet scent. It’s very much a cold weather scent for a cloudy day. I could see how it’s a bit too musky or old fashioned for some, although I enjoy it quite a bit.
Vintage’s biggest flaw is it’s sillage. It sits close to my skin and is hard to smell if you’re not in my face smelling it. It’s longevity isn’t great either, lasting 3 hours max. Definitely nothing to write home about for a winter scent.

    Longevity: 4/10

This is not an ordinary fragrance. Starting with the flacon, with an elegant leather strap with gold writing on it, which makes a perfect presentation for this creamy and sweet tobacco/leather-based scent. The notes, despite the Juniper berries that I particularly dislike, were ingeniously articulated in order to bring a balanced fragrance with a backbone tobacco/leather, as I said .Its performance is average, no more than 3 hours of longevity and poor sillage in my skin. Classy and elegant, I would recommend it for 25+ gentlemen.

A beautiful masculine scent. One that will leave a woman watching and wondering if she could pull it off. It’s a marvellous scent. Great silage and staying power. From the opening onwards you get smokey hot wood, spicy and tobacco. There’s really nothing not to like in this artisan perfume.

It is the first time I’m using it, I’m with him right now, I can say that is one of the best house in aroma aspect, and good projection and this lasted a long time already in the skin , unlike other Varvatos I’ve ever felt

    wow !
it’s sweet, fruity, it reminds me of a ripped jack fruit.
but sadly it doesnt lasts that long, and it projects under average. it sits close to the skin (at least on me)
    great juice with awful performance.
but it may vary depends on your skin chemistry.
    Try before you buy !

Vintage is extremely underrated. In my opinion, it’s the best of the John Varvatos line. It hits that sweet spot between commercially and universally mass appealing, and unique. As far as the notes are concerned, I can’t really pinpoint any specifically that stand out except for the rhubarb. It’s synthetic smelling, but it’s
