Description
The Bountiful Garden line of artisanal fragrances were created for a woman who loves the natural smell of the earth’s bounty. Offering a variety of fruits, flowers, vegetables and herbs, they signal freshness and impart the free-feeling spirit of the outdoors. Light enough for summer wear, the Bountiful Garden fragrances also adjust well into the fall and winter when they will provide a refreshing reminder of warmer days.
Victory Garden by Great American Scents is a Floral Green fragrance for women, inspired by the World War II-era “victory gardens” of fruit, herbs and vegetables that were cultivated at homes across the country. Victory Garden was launched in 2013. Top notes are bergamot, petitgrain and basil; middle notes are lavender, violet and sage; base notes are woody notes, mahogany and cedar.
Victory Garden is available in a 1 oz. eau de parfum spray and a matching 8.5 oz. candle.

Very vegetal, aromatic, fresh and shady. This smells exactly like how you imagine a flower and vegetable garden in summer, under the shade of a big oak tree, in your mind’s eye.
It’s not strong but there is something so, incredibly intense about this blend, as in an intense sensation and feeling of a memory. It makes me think of the shadowy crispness of blue flower blends.
“Victory Garden” has a very pleasing and clean, brisk dampness to it. You’ll truly feel as if you’re walking through the woods or a back yard garden.

While I love Tomato Leaf by this company I don’t find Victory Garden as appealing. It doesn’t seem to work with my skin chemistry – I can’t pick out any of the lavender, petitgrain or violet at all. On me it smells like a tossed salad complete with a generous dose of Italian dressing. This does make it true to it’s garden name, but while fresh garden salads with Italian dressing taste delicious, I don’t want to smell like one!
