Vibrant Leather reminds me of Ilum Dean “Fresco”, which at the same time was a lost cousin of Aventus.
While Aventus is heavier, Vibrant Leather is brighter, easier to wear, not as intrusive and by far more versatile.
The downside is longevity.
The bergamot is the star of this perfume, in this case this is a hyper bergamot, ultra citric borderline cleaning product.
But in general, including the unbeatable price, Vibrant Leather is a great fragrance.

Got this great scent yesterday…it is true,i can smell it on my hand exactly 8 hours after application.Of course,it is very close to my skin,but it hasn’t dissapeard,which really satisfyes me,considering the cost of 20€!(someone mentioned “relatively”cheap.It is cheap by any means,not relatively)Actually it’s phenomenal value for money,you can’t beat that!And it’s really close to mighty Aventus,which I really love,but I just couldn’t justify the high pricepoint,so this came as a great alternative(I know there are others clones on the market,haven’t tried any of them)The scent is so enjoyable and pleasant,suitable more for warmer months,but it can be worn year round easily.Very happy with the purchase,considering to buy a backup bottle,as once the bottle is gonne from the store,it’s gone.Big thumb up!

This is magic! If you love Aventus but cant afford it, give this one a try. Okey, its a copy, but for 20 euro its nothing else but amazing!
This fragrance has actually turned out to be my signature after all the complements I’ve got from using it. This one gives me more complements than anything else in my collection including BDC, Dior Homme Cologne, Prada L’homme etc.
I use to spray a little bit more than normal, around 8-9 sprays, and that will last for 8 hours plus.
This is not offensive, just pure class that everyone will love.

I don’t know why people are moaning about the performance, what do you expect for such a cheap fragrance, try and be realistic!! for the money, this is an amazing smelling scent, put it in a decant and spray again if need be, one thing for sure is, you will smell awesome and this is a compliment monster, probably just as much as aventus! 9/10

This fragrance smells very good when you spray it. It smells very natural and the bergamot in it is great. The problem is that it’s gone in 2, maybe 3 hours. Not really an EDP.
It smells pretty similar to a fruity Aventus, shame about the poor performance, otherwise I would have given it a higher score.
Only for day/summer and high heat.

I’m surprised by comments here that this doesn’t last long, although everyone’s skin is different. On me, this is longlasting. I sprayed a bit on my wrists (one small spray each) while reading in bed, and 8-9 hours later, I can still smell it, though faintly. I can’t speak to the many comparisons to Aventus, which I haven’t smelled, but this strikes me as a good leathery scent for summer. It opens with an almost medicinal citrus, then quickly becomes a light woody leather. I like it a lot! And for about $35 for 120 ml of this 2018 EDP version by Jerome Epinette, what’s not to like? If it doesn’t last long on your skin, you can spray more without guilt!

Absolutely lovely scent. Definitely has a large measure of Aventus’ fruity, pineapple opening (although in this case it’s bergamot) with a very mild, almost undetectable leathery bass note. A gorgeous, very well complimented fragrance.
The problem is it doesn’t project for more than 1 hour and fades away to nothing, quickly (1-2 hours). No wonder they give you 120ml for £20 – you’ll need to spray A LOT to get a decent effect. Lovely though and a brilliant bargain.

Much better smell than the previous vibrant leather which I did not think smelled anything like aventus. This is very close to aventus.
performance is poor 2/3 hours although I dont get much performance from the real aventus.

I agree with mo_liverpool comments. Starts very well aventus type cloud but fades rapidly almost gone in 2 hours. if you go for 120ml planning refresh its a big bottle to lug about. For the price good value. as I said I have the 12ml which probably do me until the next aventus type clone comes along.

I don’t know if this is an Aventus clone or what. It is a good EdP but far away from the kind it turns wearers into diffusors. It is mild, not offensive, restrained. As to the composition, it is analogous to those with citric topnotes and woody basenotes – it is a complex scent. And even though it does not project, I can smell it after hours of application.
It is a good value for money if you are into these kind of scents. If you prefer expensive, hyper complex sillage monsters rest assure this is not the kind you are looking for.

This one smells just right if you fancy the (fruity) Aventus DNA. I do own a 2017 bottle of Aventus and that one is much fruitier than the one my friend has (from 2011). Vibrant leather is a nice scent on its own tho, even if it is pretty close to Aventus without “being Aventus”. I like the smell a lot and I don’t mind the very soft sillage. Not every scent has to project like crazy if you ask me. But the longevity is about 2-3h on me and then it’s gone! Zara Rich Leather (which I also own)last a bit more, but that one is a bit mor woody and more zesty/harch in the opening.
Compared to CDNIM and l’aventure, I prefer the smell of Vibrant Leather edp. But my absolute favourite one that is NOT a clone of Aventus, yet similar vibe has to be Mancera Cedrat Boise! And Vibrant Leather reminds me a bit of Cedrat Boise in the drydown.

Ive owned two bottles of Aventus, 120ml of the z01 batch and 30ml of the x02 batch. This smells just like the fruity z01 batch and right from the start its absolutely beautiful, i had to buy a back up i was so blown away by the smell, you will instantly be impressed and it projects well for about 4 hours before it turns to a moderate scent but i actually get about 10 hours on my skin before it turns to a skin scent, which is good enough for me. i seriously suggest you pick up a bottle before its gone because itll be one of those that the Ebay sellers will amp up the cost. This will be my summer go to Aventus clone, while club de nuit intense man will be my winter,as thats more like the x02 smokey batch that i owned. put one spray on your shirt for better sillage and longevity.

what the reviews here say is correct.This new formulation of vibrant leather has a very poor projection and is almost gone in an hour.I have dozens of zara fragrances even alot cheaper and this is the poorest for lasting.
No way this is EDP. I have the night pour homm IV which is almost identical to this and that one lasts for many hours.
I hope this isnt the sign of things to come from zara because they make nice frgrances but no one going to buy something that lasts and hour and gone.

Purchased this fragrance after testing it for about 4~5 times every time I went into a ZARA store.
The first time I tested it, I didn’t care for it so much because it felt a bit too smoky for my taste. But after I gave it another try a few days later, it kind of grew on me. It kept comming in my mind and the cheap price tag eventually led me to purchase it.
The opening of the fragrance is very nice and pleasant. It is very bright and fresh, but not like any ordinary lemony fresh scent. It is still somewhat smoky and leathery in the background with this fruity smell that I can’t really describe with words. I guess it’s supposed to be bergamot according to the scent profile.
As time goes by, the fruityness dissipates a little bit making the leathery feel more prominent. It is very masculine but nothing overwhelmingly masculine. Just nicely masculine.
The only thing I do not like about this fragrance is the sillage. It really doesn’t project that much. maybe just 20cm MAXIMUM from the place you sprayed it. You cannot overspray this fragrance.
Longevity wise it seems like it smells for a long time when you smell the place you sprayed it directly. But also not so long. maybe 4-6 hours, so moderate
I guess I will be wearing this fragrance during the hot summer.
To sum up I think this fragrance is a
7/10 (pros: smells good, cheap, unique/ cons: projection)

@chazas its 45U.S dollars after taxes and I was told by a sales rep it was discontinued before I found 6 bottles at a larger location, then saw it was back in stock. Cheap fragrances that’s your opinion so you can save it if your not interested then you should mind your own buisness but that’s probably difficult for some people.

A pleasant smelling fragrance, reminding me of Zara Rich Leather (2017), Mancera Cedrat Boise and Reyane Tradition Insurrection II Pure.
Zara Rich Leather smells like alcohol throughout its life on skin. Vibrant Leather Eau de Parfum is much better: no nasty alcohol smell. They both have moderate longevity and moderate sillage. Although there’s “leather” in both of their names, the leather note is very mild.
Compared to I2P, Vibrant Leather EdP is woodier, while I2P retains its sweet characteristic till the end. I2P also projects more and stays longer on skin.
Compared to Cedrat Boise, well, Cedrat Boise wins in longevity: it’s crazy long lasting. And the smell… I think Cedrat Boise is a bit woodier. I actually like Vibrant Leather EdP’s smell more — a personal preference.
I didn’t buy a bottle because — like Cedrat Boise — it’s not my cup of tea. I stick to my I2P.
It’s a 120ml bottle for 20€. It’s somewhat safe, it is pleasant smelling, it’s very soft, subtle… What can I say. It’s a great release! I only wish the longevity was better. Good idea for a gift also.

For EDP version this perfume is so weak in longevity or sillage,it does smell like Creed Aventus but not near of the projection,,,Don’t know how to describe this fragrance,smell nice and it is a good clone of Aventus but the point is that performance is way low then any other fragrances in Zara store,,,

Nice. I prefer CDNI. If you have that then don’t bother. I was expecting something a little lighter based off of the reviews, but they smell very similar. In my opinion, It’s a nice, maybe little lighter version. Just got my bottle today and of course Zara is sold out. Willing to trade and I’ve been looking at Bvlgari Man Black Cologne or something for the summer.

Just tried it at Zara in Poland. Scent is amazing and well blended. Of course it gives strong Aventus vibe at the opening but transforms into woody/leathery scent. Unfortuantelly it is Edt power at best, moderate performance with low sillage for first hour then skin scent for about 3 hours. Zara please make it stronger next time, such a dissapointing performance 🙁

Ok everyone let’s get this straight … the reason the ‘new’ 2018 version smells ‘similar’ to the 2016 version AND Zara Night Pour Homme IV is that it’s the same juice in a different bottle .. simple as ! I have owned all 3 versions & folk who try to convince themselves that this is a ‘re-formulated’ or ‘fresher’ version are simply kidding themselves !
I mean come on, do you seriously think that Zara (who have clearly seen a lucrative market for their cheap CA clone) are going to go to the trouble & expense of messing about with re-formulations in the lab when they can simply morph the same juice into a different bottle / name every few months .. coughs !
Is it a good cheap alternative to CA, absolutely if you take into consideration that it performs averagely .. but on the up side it’s cheap, so you can spritz & spray away to your heart’s content … and then wait for another new style bottle in another six months !
If you do want a ‘Fraiche’ version of this why not try Zara’s ‘Rich Leather’ which actually does smell like a sport version of this AND has been continually available since it’s introduction in 2017.
Personally I still think CDNI is still the best AV clone & out performs all of the Zara versions … and maybe even some of the actual CA re-formulations too !

Vibrant Leather disappear after one hour. In comparison, Gourmand Leather is a real MONSTER (see my review). Save your money and try another Zara.

Not as the old one. Smells like grass and citrus. In other words, grassy feel comes from bamboo, and it blends with bergamot to give that pineapple vibe. But when bergamot dies down a bit you get only the pleasent bamboo. I dont get leather at all. A bit better in lonbevity but projection is poor. Very okay for the schorching heat as it is a bright citrus and then that herbal green feel from the bamboo. At least its not sweet like tons of Invictus Aqua clo es which to me are still too sweet for dead of summer.

Zara Vibrant Leather EDP in me has incredible fixation, lasts about 12 hours on the skin and projects more than 3 hours.
I do not know the Aventus, but this one has an incredible smell that provokes a lot of praise.
The best time to use it will be in summer, but with lower temperatures in the spring or even at night it will also be a great choice.
What perfume, maximum score for this bargain.
