God this is just awful. A terrible mistake of a blind buy on my part. Like some dirt cheap deoderant purporting to be some kind of ‘sporty fresh’ but gone badly wrong. Don’t waste your money on this!

Vertigo… since I do battle with, and dance the dance (day after day) I had to try this perfume. I also felt compelled to give more meaning to the word “apropo” & “irony” in a twisted opposing way, ie: maybe it can cure?
After seeing the varying lightness of each category within the notes, it seemed as though it was a recipe created just for me. It’s fragrance, simply drove the idea home.
I love a botanical base with a light citrus tang and the swirl of gentle flowers, be they subtle or strong (and used sparingly). This scent is incredible.
I agree with another reviewer’s reference to transperancy and lightness.
The aldehydes.. Sometimes I believe it a pity that most perfumers do not use them more often with whatever resins they require or alone.
They bring forth the magic, the balance that I believe they intend to create.
A perfect blend of elements, layered just so, bringing each scent a personality of it’s own. The one thing we all crave in a perfume.
This perfume has a unique and subtle heart. It should be brought back. It’s staying power isn’t long but as far as I’m concerned… it’s moot.
It’s charm would be useful in any season as it boosts the spirit whenever I wear it. But, do not be fooled as it’s dry down can be quite sultry and alluring.

I have always seen this over and over again being sold on Price-Drop Tv, never heard of this frag before and just thought ‘ah just some boring frag they cant get rid of. Well, I happened to spot this in a shop the other day, so out of curiosity, tried it. And wow, what a stunning white floral it is and the staying power is fantastic, with a nice bottle. Also not forgetting its unbelievable price tag, I paid £5 for 100ml of this, a bargain worth buying

I find Vertigo really elegant. It stays long on my skin.

    Well, well, well.
This is actually quite lovely, and it doesn’t surprise me at all 😉
I can smell almost every note of this perfume, which is unusual for me, I can’t normally discern many of them.
Starts with delicious orange and lemon with a touch of lily-of-the-valley, aldehydes give it a special, surreal shine, transparency and lightness. This top accord reminds me of some kind of candies, sweet and cold in the same moment.
Then come the flowers on a musky base – what a great symphony! Jasmine is mercifully most prominent, but ylang, rose and tuberose are here, also. Like a lead singer and a small choir 🙂
Light amber blends with musk leaving an impression of a skin-scent.
I’d say it’s a scent for warm, clear nights in spring and summer.
Unfortunately, it has almost no sillage, and the staying power is rather week, about 2 hours.
Vertigo develops quickly, lives shortly … Which makes me think of Night Blooming Cereus, the Moon Flower.
    Or a shooting star 🙂
Good perfume for a signature – but not mine …
