Versace pour homme citrus sport would have been a great name for this bottle. This is a super citrus/sporty scent in a great looking bottle but it doesn’t match it. The bottle looks formal but the juice isn’t. I have a 2015 formulation and it’s strong. 2 sprays is wonderful. I cherish this one very dearly.

Based on experience i got complimented on this through whiffs or scent trails meaning after putting the fragrance after a while and i walk pass on someone they will approach me and say that i smell really nice or very manly, one says that she knows i’m already in the office because she sat on the chair i was sitting an hour ago. Never did i get any compliments on this while im directly talking to someone or if someone walks behind me.
i don’t find anything special on this one and as a grower fragrance there would be other options that i would enjoy more.. I guess for me this is a type of scent that other people will appreciate you wearing rather than you yourself enjoying it.

Turns out I used to under spray this (1-2 sprays) and complain about it lasting 2 hours I now spray 3-4 sprays on the neck and it lasts all day, with people actually noticing as I’ve walk by. While Chanel Allure Homme Sport seems more full bodied, this is airy and supreme in the high summer heat.
Since you can find this at discounters at half the price of Chanel, for a 200ml even. Hard to pass, and the reason this has proved itself a modern classic. Definitely in my Top 5.

Hyped on the forums as one of the safest fragrances out there, it carries that title for good reason. Sure, it takes about 15 sprays to get the amount you want out of the atomizer, but that’s fine when it’s super affordable.
My bottle’s been quite neglected this spring and summer, in favor of this season of fun, new floral exploration – but this morning just rolling out of bed and deciding what to wear, my partner requested something “breakfast-y.” Huh? You want me to smell like syrup? “Something clean and fresh.” Oh, okay. So I reached for Versace Pour Homme, and I’m so glad I did.

The opening seems to be a little bit overwhelming but what I liked most was the dry down. Smells a little bit generic in my opinion but it gets the job done. My go to cologne whenever I don’t know what to wear and I usually use this when going to the gym as it really has a nice fresh and clean scent. I bought a 10 ml sample at the mall and I have already consumed 3/4 of the bottle. I think that it’s also very versatile as what I mentioned. Also, the price isn’t really that expensive, it’s very affordable considering where I live and being a student. Overall, great fragrance, definitely going to buy a full bottle after I finished the sample.

Box is nice but not as nice as the box used for Eros,utilizing a shiny meander motif border and the medusa.
Bottle is just BEAUTIFUL! a fine addition for anyone who likes eye candy.
Cap is nice and has a meander motif on top.

Very citrusy. fresh and non-cloying,but there’s something in here that for me at least evokes the smell of urine.Could be the clary sage or the musk but ill have to wear this more to be sure.
Projection – Sillage: (5/10)
Projection is weak.Sillage is next to non existent.This makes Versace pour homme a very office friendly and heat friendly perfume,but if you want to get noticed this will probably not do the trick.
Longevity: (7/10)
The scent lingers for hours,maintaining a clean fresh skin scent for the duration of the day.
tldr: fresh citrusy smell,great for casual/office/everyday wear during warm weather and daylight,would not use on a date or a night out.

Jesus, did someone ask for lemons?
The lemon note in this is so strong, it literally smells like Lemon pledge.
The opening, you get blasted with major lemon and that will last for about 1 hour, strongly. Then the lemon fades away and your left with a faint neroli for about 1 more hour…..
….then the scent is gone.
I don’t understand the hype with this one. Sure it’s a clean summer scent, but this frag is all opening and no mid or base drydown. After the opening dissipates….this frag disappears.

One of the best dumb reach frags out there, be careful the neroli is a very polarizing ingredient, people will either love it to death or hate it so don’t over spray this. Perfect for a solid introduction to fragrances, even more so than Acqua di Gio which imo is a notch below this in terms of scent quality. Don’t go over 5 sprays on a hot day or you might get some angry looks.

With Versace Pour Homme I have a relationship that many men appreciate. It’s not a passion relationship but one made of brotherly love and trust. Alberto Morillas is to be congratulated again for this fine work. He designed a fragrance with a scent similar to Chanel Allure Home as well as versatile and alluring.
“Pour Homme” is a versatility king. It’s not an overly complex perfume so the reason for its success must reside elsewhere. It proposes a citrus opening, a woody middle stage and a semi sweet creamy musky end.
The ingredients must have top quality and the blending is totally harmonious.
The sillage and projection are slightly under average, and the longevity is slightly above average. Actually the performance is in line with what you may expect from this type of notes.
I just regret this friend of mine not to have a younger brother called “Intense”

Just my honest opinion, there is something very unpleasant about these combinations of notes which are also present in Allure Homme Sport. I really can’t explain it, but combined they’re like a sour, dense smell I can’t even put my nose to. I understand that some people such as myself may have different scent receptors, so I am not upset if someone else might like this. It’s like cilantro, some people absolutely love it, and some people think it tastes like soap – which baffles me. But really didn’t pick up on the AHS notes after really testing it at Sephora, it was more sophisticated and stronger lemon. But I look here and they’re virtually the same notes. Will gift this away and look for a better cologne.

It is a blast of concentrated citrus freshness on the initial spray. Almost borderline cloying, kinda piercing on the back of your nose.

This is a way better alternative to Chanel Allure Sport, the performance is better, a bit more citrus freshness. Versatile fragrance can be worn in any weather, nothing unqie just pleasant and easy compliment magnet. The dry down in comparison doesnt have as much depth so it smells light and refreshing. This is what Allure Sport shoudve smelled like, and added more spice and depth for their Eau Extreme. This costs half the price of Chanel and lasts longer, if your not a Chanel collector get this instead. A solid fragrance in anyone’s collection!

To me, it’s one of the pretenders to the throne of versatilty. It comes close everytime I smell it. It’s difficult to disagree with Alberto Morillas formula here, it was done to be pleasing and it is, every whiff from this fragrance is energizing, fresh but not too fresh, gentle, not in your face, but especially, SMOOTH.
Yeah, to me this is smoothness in a bottle. The opening is right away very good: you get neroli, lemon and bergamot. They dont come as sharp though and they dont get to the head. Once again, everything is smooth. And it’s for every age.
The base is of tonka bean, amber and musk. A dry-down that, at the risk of repeating myself, is smooth as, for example, the scent of distant flowers. but I would also add, refined and interesting as everything comes to the mix in a very good harmony.
This is Alberto Morillas take on a fresh spicy, aromatic kind of scent, and you got to give it to him, when he does something good, he becomes like the Director of a classic movie. He does blockbusters too, but good ones mostly!
Versace pour Homme is intoxicating enough for yourself, but for people around you too. It lingers with honesty, it gets more like velvet as time passes. Of course, nobody’s gonna tell you that you smell bad. Nobody will have an headache just by smelling you.
I guess the success of this fragrance is in it’s balance. I can take it anywhere, to any situation, and it never seems out of context. Heavy cold winters, though, that’s another story.
Sillage, longevity, projection.. Everything is moderate. Mr Morillas does not do beast fragrances if im correct. Thats a good reason though not to feel guilty about spraying a bit more.
Considering the price of this scent, I feel safe to say it’s a good investment. It is 10 years old now. It hasnt aged a bit. Will it become a classic? It will surely stands out as one of the best Versace.

Overall, nothing really stands out, but very safe, manly in a good way, modern. You can always be sure of smelling good with this on. Great for not too hot summer days, good with any kind of senario, dress up, casual etc…

There is this strong metallic powdery,flowery weird musk smell in Versace pour Homme thats headache inducing.In the air the same smell is airy and fresh.Probably that is why girls dig this smell.This is the reason why I rate Versace Eau Fraiche higher than VPH as the former is smoother up close and in the air too.

Guys Versace Eau Fraiche is better of the two.It is my personal subjective opinion.

Versace Pour Homme EDT is a light, casual, clean and pleasant fragrance. It is friendly, inoffensive, easy going and refreshing, suitable for hot and humid environment. Without a doubt, it is one of the most POPULAR frags that is appreciated by MANY people (men and women).
IMO, any man can wear this one successfully without any worry about his first impression in scent. It is safe for a first coffee date, or job interview (at entrance level with less pressure and does not require important responsibility or decision making). It is to me, considered a safe blind buy present for college graduation, or an “introduction” to someone who just got introduced to the world of fragrances for the first time. Versace Pour Homme EDT in general is versatile and suits many wearing purposes or occasions. Yes, it is a crowd pleaser, but it does not mean that it is a “generic” one (sometimes, I’m not even sure that I fully understand the meaning of that word, and I don’t wanna “abuse” it).
Fresh lemon, bergamot and neroli present freshness. Hyacinth offers sweetness. Tonka bean, amber, musk, and wood provide warmth, while rose and geranium bring elegance to this table of goodness. Very gentle and balanced in ratio of notes that I experienced in this one.
Versace Pour Homme EDT gets its job done by getting you “thru the door”, and works as the “first step” of the journey wherever you want to take. But in order to define “character”, “personality”, “success”…, or in general, to make a great impression of who YOU truly are, you might wanna seek a further adventure from something else more “mature” perhaps.

This is a must have for hot summer day’s , one of the best hot weather fragrances.
It’s citrusy,frash,clean and goes on everything, casual or formal and it smels expensive and very high quality.
Now you can get this at around 35-50$ wich is great.
The preformance is not bad but not very good. Longevity is 5.5-6.5h and projection is moderate first 1.5-2h then it starts to sit close to skin.
In my opinion we can overlook the preformance because the frag itself is affortable and smells beautyfull.
And its a summer frag so preformence for me is more than good.I have no issues with it.

I can’t put in any simpler and my apologies for being blunt and straight to the point. When my other half wears this scent … it does something to a woman! Must be some pheromones they placed inside this juice. I won’t descibe the notes as it’s been said below and much better than I could. He sprays one spray on his chest and one on the back of his neck and I can still smell it the following morning! Believe me boys….. you might not smell it but we girls can!!!! The only other one that has the same effect on me is Dior Homme Eau! And he’s been complimented on it …. something on the lines of “You smell divine !”
By the way…. I find it so enchanting and appreciative when men make an effort to smell good. 😉 xxxxxx

The projection is very weak, will not reach arm length unless there is strong wind. The longevity is not good as well… After 30 mins it dries down and become like 1/3 left.
btw I am thin (but not super skinny) and applied this fragrance in HK (extremely humid, currently summer, around 33 degree Celcius)

i smell the citrus in the opening but within seconds its MUSK, big time musk.jeremy fragrance was not bullshitting when he said this cologne is not to be smelled up close.up close this cologne is iron man by avon or pure blanc by karen low.this fragrance though is bright and flowery and semi sport/aquatic.i even smell something fresh like watermelony but not jolly rancher watermelon.the hyacinth i thought was jasmine is very prominent and is pushed out by the musk i guess.i smell the cedar as well.feels like its gonna go by way of chrome azzaro but it stays neroli.amazing how the musk just stays as skin scent and good thing too.the dudes at versace know how to do their stuff. the musk eventually dies down around 2-3 hrs later and goes a bit woody yet still fresh.i like it!

Starts out very fresh and then gets slightly floral as it dries down. almost as if Acqua di Gio turned into a lighter version of Chrome…very fresh, nicely masculine. Longevity surprisingly good for a “freshie”. Can understand why this is on so many people’s top ten list.

An interesting, learning experience with this cologne. Two of my favorite colognes are Chanel Allure Homme Sport and AdG. I have bought Versace Dreamer for years as a good throw-on cologne. I even think Eros is good, just not for me an
