Description
Versace has launched a new fragrance for women on April the 1st, 2007, called simply Versace. Donatella Versace wanted to launch a different kind of fragrance, that would be trendy, fresh and feminine, but at the same time classic. A blend of soft and fresh flowers is dedicated to a woman of a new millennium. Top notes include a freshness of the morning dew along with purple wisteria and tropical, succulent guava and white lilacs. Its heart is composed of wet and translucent flowers; Angel Wing jasmine, lotus flowers, orchid and azaleas. The drydown is built of vetiver, cedarwood and musk. The package suggests innocence and warmth of the scent.
The elegant bottle texture is clean and clear, as the fragrance is. Bottle stopper features a frosted crystal Versace Medusa image on each side with her mesmerizing ancient Greek motive. It is available in 30ml, 50ml and 100 ml bottles. The fragrance is accompanied with bath and body line. It was created in cooperation with International Flavors and Fragrances Company.

I layered it with its relative Bright Crystal and I was in cloud nine of heavenly lotus. Can’t ask for more than that. For some reasons, lotus from this one and Bright Crystal stands out more prominent on my skin than other flowers.
Gadfet – :
I love it. One of the best Versace fragrances. Light, fresh, summery, subtle. In such a cute bottle.
Bamboo (bamboo shower gel) + honey + linden blossom.
It has something in common with 5-th Avenue. Both are non-intrusive and elegant.

Just like @Czhan8 mentioned, I’m a little confused too. I saw two boxes of this perfume online, with the EXACT same square bottle design, but the printings on the boxes are different. One has “Versace Pour Femme” on it and the other just has “Versace” only.
I checked the Versace forum in here and did not find any specific version of this same square bottle that has “Versace Signature” written anywhere, just this “Pour Femme” version. I only found “Versace Eros” that has “Pour Femme” on the bottle. But that one is a different fragrance and has totally different bottle design (in round shape).
Not quite sure which one is which 🙂

Elegant, feminine, CLASSY!
If I can only wear one perfume for the rest of my life, this is IT!

I had a bottle of Versace pour Femme passed along to me by someone who didn’t care for it. I can understand why people think it’s nothing spectacular. It is merely a pretty, innocuous, fresh, light floral, but I actually received compliments on it from strangers, and even from my husband who rarely gives fragrance compliments because he doesn’t like most perfumes (he’d rather smell fresh, clean air). I can recall the lilac and a magnolia -the lightly scented purple kind, not magnolia grandiflora – but no floral note dominated. It’s a pleasant, pretty, airy, summery fragrance. I like the bottle, too, with the Versace medallion in the center. I’d probably wear it again.
Adding: Stelala is right! It’s wisteria I recall, not lilac. Wisteria smells soft and a little elusive. Lilacs are quite different.
serboz – :
Melons and Summer. The notes don’t mention it but it’s a fresh melon aquatic Summery perfume that won’t blow your head off in the heat. It’s a love for me.
balextert – :
Pretty! Nice even in cold months, very fresh floral bouquet. Why didn’t I try this beauty earlier? I like so much the lilac and wisteria combo. Longevity is about 6-7 hours.
vla15996578 – :
Summer test
This is a soft sparkling all rounder
It’s not sweet
It’s not fruity
It’s not woody
It’s not floral… you get where I’m going, it’s softly unassuming and innoffensive
I’ve reviewed this before and had a bit different result due to seasonality
I don’t put this one into any particular category except maybe a soft fresh aquatic floral, but it still doesn’t fit.
It’s not definitively any one category
Seems like a good allrounder

I blind bought a huge bottle of this for half price, and boy was it a good choice! A natural scent for everyday wear, no one can be offended by this, it’s fresh and sits close to skin. At first it blasts me with its sweetness, a bit sharp at first. After the alcohol has evaporated it’s a delightful, lush, creamy flowery scent, with a touch of fresh, ripe guava. The orchids and the wisteria are the most prominent for me, I really don’t know how to describe it other than some super nice smelling shampoo/soap, something so delicious you want to just lather yourself in it. A timeless classic, with a grownup drydown; most notably vetiver, which I LOVE. The only downpart is the longevity, which for me is around 2-3 hours at most.
f4Lt – :
Hmm – I have one bottle of Versace eau de perfume (picture as in the profile)
But I believe my Versace is not “Pour Femme” as there is not written in the packaging box.
When i visit Versace counter & sniff at Versace pour femme – the smell is exacly different from mine.
Therefore I believe there’s confusion here as the profile picture might not represent the title of the perfume.
I wonder if my Versace is signature Versace
Cheers,

I see that the majority is disappointed or has many negative things to say about this EDP, but I won’t necessarily agree. It’s about taste, people. You may expect more, but some of us prefer exactly stuff like this. I’m impressed by the femininity and the fresh floral sensation. It’s juicy, but just slightly sweet and more floral. Smells like spring. And it screams “young elegance”. All i need for it to be improved, is the longevity. Everything else is amazing 🙂
Mefad165Bessinepome – :
What it this? The most boring, common and pretty expensive floral perfume there is. Why pay money for this when all those 5-10 euros florals at the supermarket smell more or less similar? This is just meh. I would expect more from such a designer house. It is not bad, just nothing special about it to make me pay the full price
zakevgeniy – :
A classy elegant clean floral which smells more expensive than it is. I find myself occasionally going back to this one and missing it. Try it if you like J’adore.
irik43034 – :
Very harsh and synthethic like all other Versace headache inducing bitter sharp you name it really dunno why I even bother…
Yan – :
This is a romantic floral fragrance. Very pleasant and not overly sweet. I think this has a sense of quality but I can see how some might find this too generic. This is not a bold scent but a beautiful flower bouquet that won’t offend anyone. Perfect for the days when you want to just seem elegant in an understated way.
kuren83 – :
Blind bought this yesterday as I was thinking of a perfume for my wedding day. This is the first time I deeply feel in love with a perfume. I usually do not prefer jasmine but the fresh opening of guava is so mouth watering to me! And it reminded me of some perfume that someone gave me and I was always seeking for it but now I found it.I live in a tropical climate and this perfume does not change to sour or weird even when I sweat.
Edit : it had that faint fresh soapy kind of smell after 7 hours of application on my wrist. The longest lasting perfume I had in my collection.
SITNIKOV – :
I am saying yes and no to this smell, kind of nice, elegant and quite attractive, but also quite ordinary, somewhere already there and common.
I think when it’s cooler I’m more into it, and when it gets warmer out of them, there’s an irritating note like fake jasmin but no jasmin there. It has already appeared in many fragrances that kind of “something common note”. After 3 samples I will not be testing anymore.
And longevity is just average.
Tpox – :
For me, Pour femme is the absolute reminder that you shouldn’t blind buy a perfume; no matter how nice the notes seem. and also that ” people who like this, also like…” column is not to be trusted!
I’ve been on a search for a floral perfume that includes wisteria for a long time. When I was a kid, our neighbour grew wisteria and it had my favorite scent in the world ( and still does. whenever I pass by wisterias, I can’t help but stop and bury my nose in them.)
I know there aren’t any fragrance that have wisteria as the main note in my country, so I settled for a fragrance that had this lovely flower as ONE of it’s notes.
Anyways, I ordered this perfume blindly (since It was already discontinued and wasn’t available in the shops for testing)
When It arrived and I sprayed it on me for the first time, it just smelled… weird. and wrong. absolutely no lilacs, no jasmine or wisteria… just a mess of lots of crushed flowers combined. and what was that, cucumber? that wet fruity top note that resembled cucumber was strong at first and never completely faded away. And that made this fragrance unbearable for me.
Was the guava note creating that unpleasent green, mushed fruit feeling? I’d had perfumes with Guava before and It never smelled like this. Was it the combination of all notes that created this strange scent? Who knows?
All I know is that I’ve never been put off like this before by such an innocent looking perfume. mean, I SHOULD have loved this! It SHOULD have been a simple fresh floral.
Anyway, I tried it a few more times on different occasions ( as I do with all the other fragrances that I don’t like at first) but every time it just made me uncomfortable and I ended up wishing that it would fade away already. pour femme is the only perfume that never passed my ” second chance” test!
It now sits on my drawer, beside her far more lovely Versace sisters, almost full, and being used as air freshener by my roommate sometimes!
ssw.28 – :
Very soft, not a big projector. Try this when you don’t have others to try in the same day, if you buy it spray it all over.
The main accords look right, I find it a bit aquatic compared the the others I’m trying.
I’ve got Versace; y d intense, versense, and others so it’s too much, it’s not giving this s real chance.
honor777 – :
Watery sweet floral themed fabric softener. It is subtle and rather … glowy. It has an interesting feeling, modern, light, warm, clean, blends seamlessly with the skin. Such a silky fragrance but many, including me, may and probably will find it boring way too soon. Conformist and pedestrian, yet something in it makes it almost irresistible. If Versace Pour Femme were converted to a soft drink, I would most likely get addicted to it.
Baben36 – :
This beautiful and elegant perfume always makes me feel special, pretty and chic. Everything about this perfume is classy from the simple but elegant golden bottle to the alluring and graceful floral bouquet, which is not overdone or overpowering. The combination of tropical fruits and floral notes is done just right. It is bright, pleasant to wear, harmonious and attractive. It is like a magical formula that captures the sunshine and happiness of the spring. It makes me smile and think about happy things in life.
The composition masterfully includes the notes of melon and guava, which make this perfume warm and slightly sweet but not overly sugary. The fruits are balanced well by the cool accords of the fresh lilacs in the beginning. As the time progresses the scent evolves into a bright bouquet of lilacs, jasmine and orchids. I love how this perfume reveals different sides when I wear it. Sometimes I feel strong orchids and sometimes I catch waves of jasmine. The scent does not have a complex development pattern. It basically stays floral but in the base note I also smell a bit of woody notes. The lasting power is at least 7 hours. The sillage is just perfect – noticeable but not suffocating or allergy inducing like in many other floral scents.
Overall score is 8.5/10. I love wearing this perfume and it is one of my favorite spring scents for a daytime.
fromN – :
First off I would like to say that Versace is one of my favorite fragrance designers. Rarely am I disappointed with their perfumes and I blind buy many of them. Pour femme was another blind purchase added to my cart to get free shipping. Yet again Versace has formulated a quality feminine fragrance and made it affordable… One of the reasons I love this house so much.
In reference to the review, here it is. The opening is a strong blast of notes, as usual with Versace. In this case the notes are purple florals, lotus, and jasmine. Drydown is somewhat less intense but an exotic fruit note emerges and mixes with flowers. I have never smelled guava. This is probably what it is. Black currant adds to the fruity side of the fragrance. Pour femme has a musky presence throughout and suggests an aquatic component as well. This isn’t surprising since the male version (Pour Homme) has a strong aquatic feel. I never get the wood notes on my skin. The scent is all lilac, wisteria, jasmine, and lotus with a kiss of fruity musk.
While I really like Pour Femme, there are better Versaces out there. In comparison, Vanitas is a strong white florals contender and Versense is a great citrus frangrance. However this is neither a white floral or citrus scent. Rather it’s a sweeter fruity floral that makes me think “purple”. My suggestion is to go with the one that works best with the skin type. Pour femme is loud, not as soft as Vanitas, and probably a highly seasonal scent relative to other Versaces.
Good spring or summer scent for casual wear. There is nothing spectacular about Pour femme that would make me reach for it on special occasions. But I would say the same for Versense or Vanitas. The perfume is just one of those that makes you reach for it because it smells good and you’re in the mood for something different, something feminine and floral. The sillage and longevity are both moderate. With that said, this will be added to my warm weather rotation; alongside my other spring season Versaces.

I love this. It’s gorgeous. I love Versace.
Pour Femme is beautiful; fresh and alluring. Elegant. Feminine and womanly. Really a perfect perfume.

I hate myself for skipping this lovely feminine floral for such a long time, there was a tester bottle of this for couple of years in a department store I used to pass weekly but I never stopped by to give it a try
At last,I received a free sample of it when I bought other perfumes
My favorite perfume genre is oriental floral or oriental vanilla durind cold months and florals in spring and summer,so obviously I’m a floral girl,I’m into white florals(magnolia, lily, gardeni,…),roses, and some soft powdery violet florals(heliotrope, lilac, wisteria,…)
Versace vasace pour femme is a lovely modern floral, this floral bouquet consists of lilac,wisteria,Jasmine,orchid,lotus..some fruit notes(guaca),not so dominant to my nose but adds a unique twist to floral combination and some musk and woods as base notes..florals are bright, subtle, soft and delicately sweet..very pretty, simple, feminine and elegant, smells like pure spring and as in you are sorrunded in a small garden full of radiant flowers..as someone said in previous reviews flowers are fresh, also warmed by sunlight, thanks to the warm, musky, cashmer base
Versace pour femme is a youthful floral scent, for young, elegant ladies,it’s really longlasting on my skin and has a good projection without being overwhelming.it can be a far cousin of Guerlain idylle, but less sharp, not smelling the same, the same feeling of smelling a huge flower bouquet
If you’re into floral scents and especially like lilac, don’t miss this one
❤❤❤❤

Poor longevity and sillage. Albeit it smells nice but I’m totally dissatisfied with my new purchase.
UnMaria – :
A screechy synthetic floral. My first dislike from Versace and I have quite a few loves in this brand. A scrubber.
taganov22 – :
Impressive, expensive, ladylike scent for all seasons! Fresh flowers (lilac, jasmine, wisteria) and an undefinable light fruit sweetness. With two small sprays I got hours of spring wafts. It is now the 7th hour and the drydown is turning beautifully to musk, vetiver, lotus and smth. like patchouli. Great sillage and longevity. We had today 2 *C in western Europe and it was 5 meters around me. I am curious how it evolves in warmer weather.
Edit: it is just as beautiful in warm weather, just lower longevity and sillage, because it evaporates sooner.
2pac – :
Versace Pour Femme and Versace Pour Homme have to be the most perfect match in perfumery.
They are absolutely outstanding fragrances.
catorganin1970 – :
Agree with comment below. This is one very easy to like but not a cheap easy perfume. I tried a couple others today looking for fresh daytime fragrance. This one stands out. I like it immediately on paper and when spritz on my skin as well. After the fresh flower notes disappear, it’s a sweet skin scent trail. Perhaps I will buy after I ended my Narciso For Her EDT, that’s my current daytime perfume.
старик – :
Well, this one is easy to like! A fresh, clean floral scent which is excellent for spring/summer or office wear. It doesn`t blow me away, but I often reach for it when I`m not entirely sure what to go for. If you`re looking for a decent day time scent, this is worth checking out. Not too sweet or cloying at all (I am a little sensitive to sweet smells).
jah_228 – :
I love this fragrance…vibrant, FRESH and ELEGANT are the words to describe this floral treasure. I sprayed myself in the office and I got positive comments from colleages stationed around my desk. Its a fragrance that I can take from morning to evening. What’s good is I don’t have to spray much. With its moderate sillage everyone will surely notice how AMAZING you smell. How I love this creation from Versace especially that my most adored Nymphaea has a strong presence in this composition at least on my skin. Lasts more than 7 hours on me which is a real plus when selecting a perfume. It just saddens me that the local parfumerie does not carry this anymore.
Versace Pour Femme’s olfactive notes based on Versace’s website:
A floral fragrance, unique, fresh and sparkling. A transparent radiance reveals fresh dew drops sweetened by a lush hydroponic guava, and icy hints of blackcurrant, all of which harmoniously fuse with touches of wisteria. The sumptuous and floral heart represents the true signature of the perfume… A sensual floral explosion of light and vibrant flowers; Orchid, Lotus flower and Nymphaea, delicately emphasized by a gentle marriage of Jasmine (“angel wing”), and Azalea (“white lights”).The fragrance is enveloped by the softness of a veil of musk, wrapped up by the preciousness of warm and delicate Kashmir wood and Cedarwood, revealing their magnificent sensuality…

Beautiful floral. Very lady like and soft. A fave forever and ever.

This is so summery and elegant. i get lilacs and froot, when i smell this, but not in a teenager kind of way, in a formal woman holding a glass of sweet expencive champagne kind of way. the bottle is so classic and elegant, and fits perfectly to the versace brand. a beautiful scent.

Versace Pour Femme EdP is a great spring/summer/fall scent. Very nice mix of Wisteria, Lilac, Jasmin Cashmere wood & Musk scent. Not to girly, not too sweet. timeless – both the teenager and the adult woman can wear this one. Flirty, chic and a bit sexy. Longlasting on my skin, about 5-6 hours.
jxn281elipseskism – :
This perfume to me is like happiness and a sunny day in the beginning of the summer. The lilacs are blossoming all around you, you beginning to get a little tanned by the suns warm touch on your skin and it’s hot but not unbearably sweaty-hot. The fruits are definitely there and they are sweet and mellow, ready to be eaten, instead of overripe and mushy.
The flowers are spreading their light colored white, pink and purple petals in the air! It’s a beautiful and most pleasant time to be around.
This is exactly what Versace pour femme feels like to me. A warm, bright and happy day with lots of good things to come.
adik2041 – :
I really wanted to like this. I really did. I tried it today after reading the notes – cashmere wood, musk, jasmine…All favourites of mine. Your reviews were promising and the shallow side of me was drawn to the classy, elegant bottle.
I opened my sample and let my nose investigate. Synthetic lilac and something fruity. “Okay, let’s not be too hasty, first impressions and all that…let’s get down to business!”. A dab on each wrist,a stroke under the collarbones and away we go..
Oh no. No no no. Memories of something sinister from my teenage follies came flooding back – and they did not smell sweet…they smelled of Red Jeans. Damn. That same fruity nausea reared it’s less than pretty head. Now, I’m not saying this smells like Red Jeans – it doesn’t. But it has the same synthetic, alkaline fruit note that I and many others hated. Nevertheless, I powered through..
An hour later that high pitched note is still hanging around. The lilac is there too but it’s not a natural, summer garden lilac. And shying away behind the Rubicon juice box guava is a mild mannered, non indolic jasmine.
Now, six hours in, I sit here sniffing my wrist. An hour or so earlier a tired, breathless musk caught up with the top notes. And a rather pleasant musk at that. But now, my skin is barely scented save for a lingering touch of guava.
Now, I know my review will likely offend those who love this fragrance. I’m not trying to throw insults around, I’m really not. But this composition is definitely trying to insult me! It doesn’t like me. I don’t think any of the Versaces do. My skin’s chemistry just isn’t cut out for this scent. I’m not saying don’t give this a chance – do! This is a well liked fragrance and I’m glad I gave it a go – for it’s sins against me, it has an interesting catalogue of notes and it’s longevity is pretty fine.
Try it. A juice that fought a war on me may well find peace on you.
seliv – :
I like this. It is a very soft floral that smells classy and elegant. For me, the fruits in this don’t really jump out but remain quietly in the background. Flowers are the ones that take center stage but it is not a flashy show but more of classy jazz act. If you don’t mind a very close sillage, it’s perfect for the office. You can smell yourself but others will have to get very near you to do so.

Maybe I am the only one, but it reminds me of a mellower version of Dior J’adore. 🙂
jej696Unlogrere – :
It’s always matter of taste, but in my opinion, this one is overwhelmingly floral. The lilacs note is annoying for me. It is supposed to sweet and fresh at the same time. Well, it’s cloying. I think it’s the composition of lilacs and jasmine what I find annoying.
kostello717 – :
This one is a different floral for sure. If you want a change from the usual jasmine, gardenia stuff, this is the one for you. On me this one opens with a really sharp guava mixed floral. The guava is rich and lovely and I think this is the only fruity note which has not made me gag ! The guava does not last though, to my great disappointment, and then it is pretty much lilac. I don’t get any jasmine and I do not have an idea what wisteria actually smells like because I live in the tropics and have not even seen it! A bit of lotus is there of course but it is a predominant lilac scent. It is very subtle, very close to skin and can be worn anywhere. Definitely not an evening scent. Unfortunately it doesn’t last long, hardly 3 to 4 hours even after applying generously. For me longevity is very important. So even though I like this very much, may not buy again, unless it comes in a big sale or something.
dnipro43 – :
I wanted this to be one of my favorites, but I wind up pushing it to the back. For me, there’s just not enough ‘oomph’. It could be my skin chemistry, but it is too subtle at first, then the dry down reminds me of metal (?). Obviously, it would have the absolute best of ingredients, but it smells a lot like a Walmart knock-off to me. Strange.
I’ve had my bottle for, like 6 or 7 years. And it smells exactly like it did the first time I opened it. So it’s quality stuff, if you like it.
katerrrina – :
I find this Versace very similar to Tommy Girl.
Very feminine floral. Although rose is not listed in the notes, I can get a vipe of rose throughout the course of notes timeline.
Rasperovky – :
Lovely perfume, but to me it smells very like Versace Bright Crystal, but is much longer lasting. Very feminine & delicate…Floral, but not in an overpowering way at all. Versace is really easy to wear & would be suitable for casual & formal occasions.

This is one hell of an awesome, sensational fragrance, totally stunning.
Had it before and think i should buy again since Xmas specials are now on, as this one is pricey.
Very sensual and feminine scent, very soft..,not too much gardenia, or fruit, but a creamy blend, perfect for day or night, and the sillage and longevity excellent. Lovely fresh creaminess.
This gets 10/10 from me, for pure sexiness and outstanding quality. One of the best Versaces for me, together with Vanitas.
herachi88 – :
Heavy and also a bit sultry on my skin. However, it is quite feminine, tempting, good for a person who wants to stay out from crowd.
Mokegeotsu – :
Bought this yesterday at Marshall’s and to me the top notes of this smell very similar to Kenneth Cole Black. The notes these have in common are lotus and jasmine I believe. I bought this blind and its not at all what I expected. I thought this would be a soft floral w/ a spicy edge but it is totally different. This is a very soft but sophisticated juicy floral. I am usually not a fan of fruit and/ or tropical fruit in perfume but the fruit in this is what gives this scent such a pretty aroma. I’ve never smelled a floral that contained a non citrus fruit that was as well blended as this one so it makes me appreciate the fruit. Also the lasting power is not so good on skin but lingers on clothing but I will have to test it further.
I don’t really know if I love this yet! I like it, its an ok pretty scent but I’m thinking this one may shine in the spring and summer. Its winter now and I am using it but I think I will try this again when it becomes a bit warmer 🙂
Edit: I decided I’m going to return this one. This is a pretty scent but it was missing something for me. I usually like a spicy edge or some masculine notes mixed in my florals and this one just didn’t work on me. I said above the top notes are similar to KC Black and I still feel this is true but the KC does more for me so that’s why I’m returning it. This is still a very nice scent just not for me!
Etoile – :
Beautiful and not *too* floral for me. I find it similar to G by Gorgio Beverly Hills. Perfect for everyday wear, it is crisp yet somewhat fruity. I think of pears and raspberry.
Definately an elegant frangrance, which could not be describe as dark by any means. (imo)
Despite being fairly light I think it should be used sparingly. There is for me a tendancy to overspray this perfume and I have found sweet musky undertones that can make me feel a bit overwhelmed and headachy if used too liberally.
Aleksei37 – :
Spring in a bottle! Such a care-free scent that I’ve received compliments on. My only complaint is that it doesn’t last long enough on me, but this is a very floral, green, inoffensive fragrance to wear in the spring (or if you’re dreaming of spring) 🙂
admiral321 – :
It is the only Versace perfume that I like. It is a lovely Spring & Summer perfume. I have had 100 ml bottle of this fragrance. After running out of it I cannot decide whether to buy it again or not. It is not so special to me, but I am still thinking about it. It is fresh, clean, wearable floral scent in a gorgeous bottle. I love that prominent lilac note in this perfume. Perfumes with lilac note are extra attractive to me. The only downside of this perfume is its lasting power. Versace Versace is a very feminine perfume. She is soft, calm, delicate. She is mature, grounded & down to earth young lady. She is not showy or flashy at all. She is expressing femininity in a subtle way. And she has a glow about her.

It is a hot, hot summer day in Florida… and this suits perfectly!
Such a sunny, bright fragrance! Quite fruity and white floral. The wood gives it a sophisticated undertone. It is perfect for both casual and formal occasions. Sillage and longevity seem average- above average.
I rarely find a fragrance that I feel this enthusiastic about.

Floral, Green, Berries, Guava, Vetiver: all mixed so lovely, so well. I love a perfume that has notes blended so well it is hard to discern one from the other 🙂 It is extremely womanly, airy, effervescent. I am so surprised that I rarely see this in stores, and all I see are the “crystal” family, which I am not a fan of. This is stunningly feminine, sensually sexy, luxurious, but not at all shy, Floral perfume. Love it, it will remain in my collection for a long while. There is a uniqueness in this that can make it a signature. I love the way it makes me feel, and consider it Versace’s best.

I do appreciate them on others though ,

The description says soft and fresh flowers and that is exactly what the scent is.
Really delicate , I would say this shoudlnt be offensive to those even most adverse to perfumes in the office or other work place.

Wow, i’m excited! Another perfume to bring up a wonderful memory!
Its warm and sunny. I’m about 15, laying in the grass without a blanket, feeling the prickle if grass on my arms and legs. The stream is gurgling over rocks near by and when the breeze blows it is cool and damp. I brought my horse up on his long lead and i can hear him cropping grass and i hear his soft, snuffling breath as he eats. I feel his hoves on the ground and every once in a while he touches me with his velvet nose. My mother has the largest lilac bushes i have ever seen to this day. They were like small trees.
