Very minty and fresh. Perfect for a hot summer day.

I bought it as a blind buy and I actually like this a lot, though it took a bit to grow on me. Very natural smelling compared to any other aquatic scent I’ve smelled. Sweet but not over bearing. Ladies love it. And contrary to other people’s experiences, it lasts a good 7 hours on my skin if I don’t sweat too much.
Might be a bit expensive for what it is. But since I have been using it and liking it, I might just keep buying it. Good compliment getter.

There are no similarities between this and davidoff cool water. There is no citrus in cool water. This is more similar to Clinique happy, also I can see the similarities to ADG as many of you have mentioned. Beautiful uplifting summery marine scent and very well refined. However performance (longevity & silage) is week just like many marine scents out there. I would have definitely bought if the performance was good and probably have rated it in my top 10 because the smell is exceptional.

In my opinion this is a beautifully fresh creation. It has a sweetness to it which can sometimes be interpreted as sugary or syrupy. It wears great on the skin. Overall I really like the fresh elements that come through with the mint. There are similarities to both Bvlgari Aqva Marine and Davidoff Cool Water. Lovely fragrance

This is a fragrance that manages to stay crisp and somehow cool for around six hours.
It starts with a crisp sweet mint, cool aqua, sharp lavender and misty musk and it doesn’t change a whole lot after that. That’s a good thing in my opinion when it comes to a casual summer aqua scent. Sometimes you want a casual summer fresh fragrance that doesn’t change on you after an hour or two.
This one is linear without fading too quickly. This fragrance is better from a distance – up close the sweet mint note overpowers all the other notes. But from a distance – a foot or two – it’s pleasant.
Even though summer is almost over this fragrance has enough character to carry it into early autumn. It’s nice but nothing special – and that’s ok in my book.
It won’t raise your eyebrows when you first sniff it but it might have you feeling a few degrees cooler.
To truly enjoy this one you will need to spray more than twice. The drydown is slightly floral and more noticeable with a generous application. A single spray is still nice but you you might miss out on the nice drydown.

Nice but too expensive in contrast with bottle size.

My husband owns this perfume and I love it, on his skin it smells like cedar/tobacco/fresh I don’t get the citric notes at all. It is very manly and sexy, I can’t stop smelling him when he wears this.

Similar to Acqua di Gio, but without that sour end. It’s more minty too, I love the smell…very nice fragrance! If this lasts long, it will substitute my AdG when I run out of it.
PS.: This has the DNA of Hugo Element and Hugo Man too, may be a good substitute for those as well!

Opens with a nice fresh mint and lemon note but quickly turns into a generic aquatic base. I really can’t stand the aquatic “sport” type note. Tried washing it off and I can still smell it so it’s long lasting if your in to the smell of the base.

A blast of extreme clean. I would not consider this suitable for women’s wear under any circumstances, although I would enjoy nuzzling a man wearing it, and that’s mostly due to the mint note.

bought it for my husband – who usually like Issey Miyake. He’s fine with it, i like it because it smells less “department store” than the other men’s frags. french is best, but still wants to get Fire Island by Bond – tres sensual!

An ordinary aquatic fragrance. I’m usually not a fan of aquatics, they generally smell too synthetic to me. But this one is the least synthetic one that I tried.

Very fresh fragrance with a good projection and a not a very good longevity in a quite ugly bottle as all L’Occitane bottles.
A nice and refreshing natural citric scent with a beautiful mint note, that lately turns aquatic. A unisex fragrance easy wearable at informal occasions.
Anyway I found many other fragrances that smell better and even classier and are better balanced for the same price, and with a far more beautiful bottle too.
I will never buy this fragrance. I like its scent but I don’t love it. For the same price I can find plenty of better perfumes.

The mint in beginning smelled sugary, almost candy-like on me. Nothing that I really care about but, later, it gets aquatic and citric. With soda vibe the scent is kind of cool with a touch of watered down citrus and lots of ice. Remembers me a little of Prince Blanc by Princesse Marina de Bourbon, both in middle notes but this one is more fresh, I think. Good choice for summer.

The top notes of mint and lemon makes me fall in love with this EDT. Highly recomended for fresh scent lovers, it’s simple and refreshing, because it contains pepermint oil in it. Briliant idea for someone who lives in a tropical country like me. However, I wish the top notes could last longer…

I agree that Verdon can be unisex due to it’s light and aquatic nature, but I feel as though it lacks a certain depth of character that I am used to with L’Occitane, especially concerning the mens fragrances.

A lovely natural aroma, very organic, green, fruity, aromatic and watery.. soft but very balanced, nothing in excess. Longevity is amazing, projection without doubts. Relaxing and peaceful aroma near of a green aura..

Frosty fresh, minty fragrance, extremely longlasting.
Could pass as a unisex easily.
As it dries down, it reminds me of Acqua di Gio.
