    Armaf Ventana (from Sterling-Parfums website):
Top Notes: Bergamot, Grapefruit, Mandarin, Lemon, Red fruit
Middle Notes: Geranium, Lavender, Patchouli, Vetiver
Base Notes: Cedar, Precious Woods, Labdanum, Amber
    Dior Sauvage:
    Top Notes: Bergamot, Mint, Pepper
    Middle Notes: Geranium, Lavender, Patchouli
    Base Notes: Cedar, Labdanum, Amber
Ventana has great performance as it has lasted over 12+ hours on skin, and the sillage is remarkable as there were people able to smell it on me from afar. Ventana works year round. Casual, office, date-night settings would be well-suited for this fragrance. Day and night works just fine. Superb product by Armaf.

Armaf nailed it again. It smells amazing.
This is as close as you can get to Dior Sauvage.
The best Sauvage alternative for the buck.
    The sprayer is very good.

i think it’s the best clone of dior sauvage

I picked this up because I’ve seen many reviewers on Youtube talk about how this fragrance is the closest clone to Dior Sauvage that they have come across. Sauvage was the first fragrance I bought (only about 2 years ago) and is still my signature, and I’m pretty happy with the fragrance Armaf has created.
As I am currently wearing Armaf Ventana on one hand and Dior Sauvage on the other, this seems like a good time to do a comparison. First thing I noticed, when the alcohol smell had gone, was that Ventana has more of a fruity top when compared to Sauvage’s rather peppery scent. On the drydown is where more of a resemblance to Dior Sauvage starts to become clear, the fruitiness starts to blend in with a more fresh kind of vibe with lavender, vetiver, amber and cedar starting to come through.
30 – 40 minutes in and it was difficult to tell the difference between Armaf Vantana and Dior Sauvage but there were some differences, Sauvage kept it’s pepper notes strong while Vantana has more of a fresh kind of smell to it, almost powdery to me but the similarities between them are still rather close and pulling closer together as time goes by.
After an hour it was very surprising how similar these fragrances actually became. Vantana still smells the fresher of the two, but Sauvage has lost some of the strong pepper, making it smell fresher and bringing it closer to Vantana.
Overall, I do like this fragrance. In terms of this being a clone, I’d say it gets to about 85-90% similar to Dior Sauvage, not perfect but there is a strong similarity between the two which becomes more prominent as the fragrances develop. Having said that, I would still choose Sauvage of Vantana just because of the strong pepper that was lacking in this fragrance, but as I managed to pick up 100ml for £25 I do see this being a fantastic replacement for everyday use and saving me roughly £55 per 100ml which will be greatly appreciated considering these fragrances are extremely versatile.

Yes, is very close to Dior Sauvage.

This is damn close to Sauvage. On clothes it smells different, much more peppery. I actually prefer Ventanas opening over Sauvage’s, it’s sweeter and almost fruity. But it lasts maybe 4 hours on my skin, where I get a full work day out of Sauvage. For the $30 I paid for Ventana I’d say just pay the little extra for a used bottle of the real deal on Facebook groups or something. If you don’t mind reapplying Ventana really is great. I’ve heard great things about Reyanne Tradition’s Gentle Elsatys so that might be another clone looking into.

Don’t listen to the below reviewers that’s say this is a Mont Blanc Individual, they are miles apart. How you even class them as similiar is beyond me.
Any reviews claiming it only lasts a couple of minutes is probably more reflective of the amount of time they put into the review than the fragrance itself lol
This is a clone of Dior Sauvage, to the untrained nose it will be indistinguishable.
If you love Sauvage but can’t afford it, then this offers great bang for buck.
The bottle is a real let down, it’s cheap plastic and tacky.

Don’t know what the guys below are smelling lol this stuff lasts 8+ easy on my skin and on clothes til I wash and that’s no exaggeration!

I agree on the fellow below, I tested it today, took the paper strip with me home and there was nothing on it after an hour. Performance sucks, good I didn’t bought it…

    Really disappointed by this one.
It smells lovely after the 1st ten minutes but disappears within an hour.
Longevity and sillage are poor, excellent scent when you can actually smell it.
Not worth the UK prices for Armaf and won’t be buying it again.

I am probably one of the only people on this site that hasn’t sampled Dior Sauvage so i’ll dodge that comparison for starters.
I have to say, I own Mont Blanc Individuel and this doesn’t smell the same to me.
This opens up very fruity and reminds me of something by Escada, it’s got that rich and slightly sickly element to it but it’s not unpleasant and works quite well in the warm weather.
Sillage is moderate but becomes soft after 1 hour.
The lavender is prominent in the mid stage but the dry down is nothing to write home about. This scent is like a slowly deflating balloon, petering out after about 5-6 hours into a faint and uninteresting skin scent.
It’s a nice enough scent and light enough for regular use, plus it’s cheap to buy also. I have two 8ml samples but wouldn’t buy a full bottle of this as it’s not that impressive to me.

I gave my GF a blind choice between this and Savauge EDT…She chose Ventana on both the opening and after the drydown. Lasts me a whole work day in the AC. Good scent.

This is a Mont Blanc Individual clone.
Not my favorite, to be honest.
ETA: Ok, so it is similar to Sauvage. Lasts through a workday with 4-5 sprays. Wold like to pick up another bottle…

Nice scent – very closer to Dior Sauvage. This one doesn’t project or last as long, but for the price, it’s still worth a purchase. It is a little harsh, but still good.

This is really close to dior sauvage. But still distinguishable from sauvage.
My GF can tell the difference and she prefer dior sauvage.

Dry down is very much like dior Sauvage. I asked my wife could not tell the difference between the two she said they smell the same. The opening is the only thing different between the two. Ventana has a very strong opening that mellows on the dry down.

I’ll try to give my review. This perfume is basically Dior Sauvage clone. Which smell synthetic, but somehow had a good reactions by women. Overall i think this is better than sauvage, price wise. If you are some broke ass dude who want to smell good (if you like sauvage), this is obviously for you over over priced Sauvage.
    Scent : 7/10
    Sillage : 7/10
    Projection : 7/10
    Longevity : 6/10 (for EDP)
    Cheers

This gets me lots of compliments. Everyone who compliments believes it’s Sauvage.
    High sillage, long lasting.
Want a fresh, inoffensive great performing fragrance?
    Can’t lose here.
Don’t fear the Sauvage haters, more people love it than the 30 or so snobs here that scream from the roof tops how horrible it is.
I keep referring to Sauvage because this is 99% Sauvage.
    8/10

Just got the bottle. Here are my 2 cents
    Scent: 9/10 (10 minutes into the dry-down, 99% Sauvage-like just a bit sweeter)
Projection/Sillage: 7/10 (need the help of breeze to let others smell)
Longevity: 7/10 (Lasts about 5 hours on my skin)
    Cost: 20/10 ($29 CAD…)
Overall: 9/10 (If you are fond of Sauvage but feel like Dior is ripping you off, just buy this. I love it)

I just got my bottle, batch from 02/17. First initial spray was just like Sauvage. After 1 hour now it is undistinguishable from Sauvage. Someone said this smells synthetic but Sauvage doesn’t smell natural either so they are basically the same to me. I have tested few times Sauvage on skin and it is just unbearable for more than 1 hour, it is very strong and overwhelming. Ventana on the other side smells the same to me and i would say even better than Sauvage, probably because it’s not so loud and headache inducing. Still testing performance but i think for that price it will be acceptable. I would recommend you to buy this if you want Sauvage, cheaper and better version.

This is very good – opening reminds me of pencil shavings in a great way.
I don’t like the drydown as much as the opening, but nevertheless it smells very clean and fresh.
Longevity seems to be okay, but not as good as Sauvage.
After the top is gone it smells pretty much exactly like the Sauvage mid and drydown.

  23. :

    4 out of 5

well I m pretty much satisfied with the scent quality. its really close to Dior Sauvage and the longevity is very good. If it is reapplied, the fragrance quality remains the same. within this budget its overwhelmingly good.

    1. Bottle – Not your typical cologne bottle. Metal, plastic and leather. Nevertheless good sprayer.
    2. Fragrance – Clone of Dior Sauvage EDT. Very good clone in fact what I am about to write might be considered blasphemous. ITS BETTER THAN SAUVAGE. The dry down is amazing! Opening feels like CDNIM
    3. Longevity – Excellent. EDP. 6-7 hours.
    4. Silage – Moderate to excellent. 2.5 ft. Advice – Spray it on skin rather on clothes.
    5. Price – Dirt cheap 9$
    6. Overall – 8 / 10 (A bit too common these days because of all the needless Sauvage Hype)
    7. Should you buy / skip – BUY. HELL YES

I was excited to get this at first, but I’ve soured on it for a couple of reasons.
Yes, this is very similar to Sauvage although the opening is pretty harsh. Smell them side-by-side and the difference in quality will be obvious. It’s not unpleasant, but it leads to top-heavy performance; Ventana is very strong for the first hour or so and then fades quickly.
Which leads me to my next point. Armaf’s “Pride of Armaf” fragrance is also a Sauvage clone, but a much better take. It’s not nearly as synthetic and lasts longer than this one. It can also be had for around $30 so I suggest you get that instead 🙂

  26. :

    4 out of 5

This really is a Dior Sauvage clone in a much cheaper price. Although it is a EDP concentrate but the performance is way below Sauvage. I only get 2-3 hours of performance out of this parfume. But judging the price i think it’s a fair trade.
The scent is very similar to Sauvage but you will notice a different quality out of this two. You will get a very much synthetic comparing to Sauvage. But it’s still good for your daily rotation.
Scent : 7/10 very similar to Sauvage but with lower quality than Sauvage
    Sillage : 5/10
    Projection : 6/10
Longetivity : 4/10 only last 2-3 hours until it become skin scent and disappear completely for the next one hour.
