So much like La Vie eat Belle but so much more wearable (and natural!)
sger75 – :
too sweet for me

This smells to me like a lovely toned down daytime version of Black XS. It’s fresh and friendly without the heavy muskiness.

I was extremely intrigued by the scent composition. It was a hybrid between Flowerbomb and La Vie Est Belle. I couldn’t fathom how this scent could smell sweet, sweet, sweet. As a gourmand lover, I would expect something along the lines of caramel and cotton candy. The initial blast was an overwhelming scent of flowery violet. It is that strong scent that temporarily assaulted my nose but once it’s settled down, it becomes sweet, powdery and elegant. It does remind of LVEB, just a really great scent to have.

Reminds me very much of La Vie Est Belle! Really great fragrance 🙂 I have the body milk and that´s strong enough to wear as a perfume! Way too strong to wear as a lotion!

i do love Korres perfumes but this is truly for me. It’s sweet but not overpowerly. It’s a very unique and feminine perfum with a great staying power. I can still smell it after 12 hours!as it dries down i get a more powdery & confort scent. It reminds me a lot of la vie est belle.I purchased it recently and became one of my favorites already!it’s a higly recommended perfume!

glitterlust – I completely agree! I tested this with the expectations of a peppery, woodsy floral. Maybe a tad sweetness but it is indeed in the same category as LVEB and maybe Flowerbomb. But for me this is the first in this “scent family” that I actually quite like!
Update: This has amazing longevity, I could still smell it in the late evening. The woody notes are also very prominent in the dry down. Love!

Here is the complete list of notes for this perfume:
Bergamot, Raspberry, Cranberry, White pepper
Orris root, Caviar, Orange blossom
Amber, Musk, Patchouli, Cashmere wood
The red berries are present in the top notes which is where a lot of the sweetness comes from (rather than from violet). Orange blossom is just as dominant as the violet. This does fade out over time to leave a lightly sweetened orris note that isn’t too powdery at all thanks to the amber and patchouli. I can see this fitting into the modern sweet category, along the lines of La Vie est Belle.

I am so surprised by this perfume, not only because it’s good quality and staying power but with the sweetnes- where does it come from?
Velvet orris, pepper and violet does not seem this sweet , more of a powdery sweetnes.
The initial spray is really sweet, towards candy sweet and for me it smells candy rasberry sweet. This note stays almost the whole wear and makes this composition into something I thought it was not.
I don’t say its a bad thing , but my idea of the notes written here on fragrantica and on the bottle, was a softer powdery violet with some boost by the pepper . Its like the initial blast would be a sweet infused pepper.
The top note is actually reminding me of the top of pepper in Tresor midnight rose or the sweetnes of La vie et belle .
When it dries down you get a more soft powdery violet wich is really nice and the drydown is even softer violet/iris /musk , with the while the sweet notes still linger around them.
I really like it even if my idea of it didn’t agree with my first experience of it.
Since I lately added some sweet fragrances to my collection –
This can stay too.
The fact that they are enviromental and skin friendly will probably make me pick it more often.
A sweet treat !

Personally, I think it’s the best perfume Korres has produced so far and the one that lasts the longest compared to the previous ones. Sweet, powdery, feminine and of course natural!
