I recently won a dirt cheap bottle of this on eBay and wore it for the first time today. I know this scent. I don’t own whatever it smells like, but I know I have smelled this before. It’s going to drive me nuts. It’s kinda reminding me of VS very sexy noir tease which I adore, so maybe that’s what it is. I don’t currently own noir tease so I can’t do a comparison unfortuantly. This smells very yummy. I love black currant and caramel, They make a delicious blend. Not too fruity or cloying, this is a great scent!

This reminds me of Taylor Swift’s Wonderstruck or one of Britney Spear’s perfumes without the celebrity baggage. I get clean shampoo-like black currants followed by flowers. There’s nothing about this that is remotely “noir” in the beginning because it mostly smells like you took a shower with some nice smelling shampoo. After an hour or so, the “caramel” kicks in, but there’s also a touch of vanilla and possibly patchouli. This never gets overly candied sweet, nor does it ever gets “dark.” I get something that reminds me of a very light version of Tom Ford’s Black Orchid, but it’s a vague resemblance.
If I took the original Burberry, (Which is what Swift’s Wonderstruck and some of BS’s perfume resembles) cleaned it up and took out most of the bottom notes, this is what I would get. It’s not spectacular; it’s pretty and accessible. I ended up with a bottle simply because I liked it. Good thing it’s at a decent price point (about $28).
