Lots of tonka and vanilla, some sandalwood with floral and spicy undertones. Misnamed but quite pleasant and longlasting (10+ hours on me).
Weirdly, when I first tried Santal Intense it SO didn’t work for me. I got tons of baby powder, rose and sandalwood. Imagine a diaper changing table set up in the middle of a patch of roses. Ick! I hid the bottle in the farthest corner of my perfume drawer, never to be seen again.
A few days ago I dug it out on a whim and voila, a surprisingly nice gourmand for next to no money.
There’s some resemblance to Yves Rocher Vanille Noire but this one feels drier and a little more interesting.
(I still got one complaint: The top notes are just horrible, harsh and somewhere between fruity-sour and chemical. This might be due to my bottle’s age though.)

well – again a varen’s perfume which could be a delight, if they would put at least SOME staying power to their fragrances.
i’m really quite happy with the scent, but after already 15min.(well -okay it’s more like 45) theres nothing left. maybe have to try on clothes…
the scent itself starts with only slightly detectable top notes, lucky me, but mostly with creamy and mild white flowers. after the creamyness settle more and more the piquant amber and vanilla. but never sweet or gourmand, just spiked up amber and sandalwood. the only thing i have to warn about: it’s a nice scent – interesting and recommandable for everyday, wihthout any chance against comme des garcons or jovoy, but for it’s price very good, indeed – but don’t expect an intense sandal…
