I love this perfume it really is Oriental. The smell is so musky and wood ,but floral at the same time. It’s perfect for fall ,winter and even for spring.
It was love at first smell and look because the bottle is so pretty.
and it’s very affordable I just had to buy it.

This is a wonderful western Oud scent. Somewhat reminds me of another I tested lately, Judith Leiber Topaz. That one had a ton of sticky tropical fruits and florals with a musky Oud base. Here, the scent doesn’t have as much going on so you can pick out individual notes a little better. Sweet pear, leading into heady Jasmine and that delightful Oud-musk base. Jasmine, musk and Oud CAN smell a little “dirty” or “skanky” and yes this is a little bit of both but Rubis is so well blended, it’s not all heavy or overwhelming. I am very impressed with the Ulric de Varens brand, I understand they are a kind of a drug store cheapie house like Jeanne Arthes but this does not smell cheap and the performance is amazing, great silage here. I definitly want to try more from this house as there are so many intriguing scents in the database, and they get such great reviews.
