I loved this scent…Wish it wasn’t discontinued.Vanille Noir might be the closest to it.

I remeber buying this scent thinking ‘this maybe fun’. WOW I was not dissapointed. Reminded me of marzipan, vanilla. Really did last long. Oh how I miss this.

I would buy this one again in a heartbeat! Just like the 1st reviewer, I never found anything remotely similar afterwards: a unique marzipan-honey-vanilla smell, that never failed to yank me out of a random depression while I wore it. I am going to write to YR asking for a revival of this. A 19 year old back then, I felt so cool and special wearing something this unique and upbeat! And I was told I smelled good enough to eat, so 5 stars all the way for this underrated gourmand YR creation! 🙂

Does anyone know if it is at all possible to buy this? Or failing that a similar scented perfume?
I dont know why they discontinued its production! 🙁

This perfume was launched in 1998, not in the 2000`s
It wasn`t re-introduced to the YR line since then (at least not in Russia, but as far as I had a chance to see the Russian line does`t differ from any other lines of YR products wherever) and I was looking for it for a loooong time. And now yay, I have it!
Yes, smells just as I remember – pistacchio macaroon. Sweet, very delicious, does`t have this burnt sugar note that many vanillas have (for example, the Vanille Bourbon from YR, the Body Shop`s vanilla, some vanillas of CSP, and even some of the La Maison de la Vanille). Not too persistent, which sometimes happens with simpler vanilla scents. A bit reminds of the CSD Vanille Amande when you just spray the latter, this nutty, sweet marzipan scent (the vanilla amande is known to loose this almond note in about 15-20 minutes or even less and then remain just vanilla:( ).
The longevity is average, not bad at all, but not strong.
I absolutely agree – it`s a cuddly, warm, very delicious fragrance, very girly, cozy and clean. I would say it even has a bit of elegance in its sweetness. Definitely makes people want to smell you (or eat you haha))

Vanille Pistache is a limited edition fragrance and it is part of the Les Plaisirs Nature collection.
The fragrance smells exactly the way its name implies:
It is pure vanilla with plenty of green pistachio and is most suitable for the colder months.
Vanille Pistache is sweet and cuddly and actually a really well-done fragrance for fans of pistachio fragrances and sweet notes.
The lasting power is average, maybe below average, the sillage is rather intimate once the initial scent cloud has settled.
