The vanilla at first spray (and lessening over the hours) is straight-up cooking vanilla – the kind that comes in the brown glass or plastic bottles. But on clothing, say a day after spraying, the vanilla smells just like instant coco powder (that you add to water or milk and drink.) Dusty and not at all like its puffy cooking vanilla in the beginning.

I love Molinard’s simplicity, but this one may be a redundant buy if you already have the Patchouli fragrance which I love. Patchouli had more silage and longevity, while Vanille Patchouli sits very close to the skin and fades out to a hint of regular Patchouli with an underlying vanilla tone. Don’t get me wrong, I loved it (gifted it), but was expecting more vanilla and less patchouli.

Sweet smelling fragrance. I liked it, not as much as Vanille Fruitee but VF is more feminine, though it states is unisex, I’m not sure if I could pull it so this one might suit me better, the only issue against buying it is that it reminded me immediately to my Muglers, so it may be a redundant scent. It does seem to have good longevity judging by the paper strip’s lingering smell.
Warning: forgot to review it the same day, I think is being now like 2 weeks.

Im having a hard time to get my grips on this one. To me its a herbal, sightly medicinal dark scent based on vanilla. The strange thing is that i get ALOT of licorice in it, thats not even listed. Am I really the only one?
It is slowly growing on me though. Very unisex. Good sillage and longevity.

Lovely! A dry, herbal cooking vanilla and patch. Balanced. Not a dirty hippie vibe at all.

I do not care for this. I am unable to smell anything other than benzoin and sandalwood, with the benzoin being prominent. It reminds me vaguely of a pine forest. Try before you buy. I do agree that it seems masculine, but then we can all wear whatever we like these days. I am a big fan of the new Molinard Patch, but not this one.

@ Chazas You are definitively right with the niche quality of Les Elements. I’m into Cuir & Ambre. Alone or layered.

Very well blended luxurious smelling patchouli and vanilla, it is unisex but rather more suitable for men but of course a very feminine looking woman would manage to wear this as well. Good price for niche quality and sillage was perfect!

New line of unisex Les Elements Collection from Molinard 2015/2016 is not so popular and hard to find, but Vanille Patchouli and Patchouli are absolutely incredible and niche quality, at very good price.
