Dumac – :
I’ve checked – there is no review of this fragrance in any language, so I’m first! In fact, there is not much about this brand whatsoever, which is a shame.
I bought it around a year 2000 in France, in Carrefour exactly. It was standing on a shelf like a shampoo and other cosmetics and it was cheap. I wanted to have a bottle of perfume from France, but at that time I wouldn’t spend much money on it, so I bought it.
It’s predictable, nothing surprising as you can tell from the notes and price – just sweet blackberry and vanilla, that’s it. It doesn’t smell like a blackberry from the garden, rather a gourmand one. I loved it, although I must say for a long term it’s very monotonous, but I don’t think it was meant to be every day’s fragrance. It’s more like seasonal Escada, though I don’t like them, this one is fruity in different way thankfully.
The sillage and longevity are very average, as far as I can remember, but I didn’t expect them to be good in this price bracket.
I went back to this bottle few years ago, it annoyed me that there is still a lot left and I wanted to buy a new, different perfume (oh, that times, when I thought 3 bottles of perfume is craaaazy), so I was forcing myself to use it everyday, just to empty it. I even started to dislike it, it was boring.
Now I see on their website, that edts are only €4.99, but… It seems like this one is discontinued, it’s not available. Oh well… It wasn’t so unique, so maybe I will find something similar, actually Le Temps des Secrets Jeanne en Provence is really worth to try if you like blackberry and look for something cheap and widely available.
