I got a shower gel of this fragrance. It had golden glitter in it! I felt guilty of using something so childish and not-eco-friendly, but I have to say I absolutely loved it. This smelled like a milk-chokolate-vanilla-cookie-candybar named Suffeli that is sold in Finland. So sweet and delicious, not just vanilla. I wish I could find this as a perfume… YR quite often recycles its products, maybe they’ll launch this again (as new…) some christmas.

I expected a simple mono-note vanilla from the description. however, there was a very clashy floral note to it.

Nice simple Vanilla. Safe for work. Nothing standout, yet nothing offensive either. I wish it lasted a bit longer

This, to me, smells exactly like Aquolina Chocolovers, except it doesn’t last as long on my skin.

Got it last week. It smells divine, just like Yves Rocher Vanilla Bourbon body lotion that I had and loved many years ago. I still don’t know why I had only the lotion, but remember my friends telling me how nice perfumes I was using and couldn’t believe that wasn’t a perfume, it was just body lotion!

I really love vanilla fragrances, but this one has a strange odor. Almost a synthetic burnt sugar smell, not really a vanilla. Even when just spraying it into the air it has an odd odor. Reminds me of Bodycology’s Vanilla Cupcake body spray with a strange chemical back note. The Bodycology actually smells better!
Really wanted to like it and hoped it compared to the more expensive Vanille Noire. Not even close. Have the small bottle of Vanille Noire and LOVE it. Will have to go ahead and break down and buy the full size bottle even though it’s a little pricey. 😉
Wish I hadn’t wasted money on this one…

Like the other reviewers, I get an orange note from this, even though no orange is listed in the ingredients.
Speaking of ingredients, this smells just like cake mix. It’s quite pleasant for every day, especially in the baking season of Christmas.
It also seems to be a cat and dog magnet, if that’s your thing.

This is very nice, simple vanilla. Yet it has this nice orange that reminds you of orange chocolate.
All in all a nice vanilla with a little twist. Good for the Christmas season.

I’m a huge vanilla fan, which is frankly the only reason I bothered to buy this one. It’s really nothing special, a shade darker vanilla with an orange twist (at least I’m getting orange, although it’s not mentioned in the notes).
Quite pleasant if you like plain vanilla, a safe, inoffensive scent.

Well , this is now a tradition in the Yves Rocher company , almost each season has its boring limited edition -______-
So this 2013 fall, we have this disapointing “Vanille ColectOr” … And it’s really a waste of time and money , it has really NOTHING special . Just take YR’s regular “Vanille” , remove the little touch of magic that makes it so special and popular , and you have this ” Vanille CollectOr”
That’s it!
