Vanille Abricot is a beautiful soft, slightly heady, sweet vanilla with just the right amount of fruit and no trace of booze (thank goodness!). To me it feels similar to scents like Esprit d’Oscar, L’Heure Bleue etc.; it’s that good. VA smells definitely more expensive than it is and lasts well into the next day when sprayed on clothes. This one is definitely a keeper. I also own Figue Sauvage from this range and they are beautiful layered together as well.
Lol, just saw that I had written a review already but I leave this one, too, because this scent is truly beautiful, and it shows again that you don’t have to necessarily fork out a lot of money in order to smell good. Fantastic juice!

This is a phenomenal scent . Longevity beast . Projection silage monster. Absolutely a steal for the price . This one is very very sweet and I like it that way . It’s the style and type of sweetness you’d expect out of a Amouage fragrance it’s that good . I get a pure apricot and white peach sugary syrup scent out of this with not much vanilla going on . I actually purchased 2 100 ml bottles of this to give one away as a birthday present but that’s not going to happen im keeping them lol . If this one was labeled as an Amouage fragrance it definitely be worth the $300 . I paid $24 each .

Vanille Abricot is a very nice non-foody and non-boozy vanilla . All notes are nicely balanced together and form a very smooth scent that embraces you in its warmth and lightness; natural smelling indeed and the sweetness is kept in check as well. VA is considerably less sweet than Vanille Bourbon or Tendre Madeleine. This is the right vanilla for anyone who doesn’t want to smell like food. I have to disagree with anyone saying this is syrupy sweet; Vanille Bourbon and Tendre Madeleine yes but not Vanille Abricot. To me sniffing VA right after VB and TM is like a relief to my nose, but then again, some might find even that to sweet but I want to point out the difference. It smells more expensive than it is and it lasts well into the next day when sprayed on clothes; definitely a keeper. VA is also great layered with Figue Sauvage from the same range…yummy…

Mmmm! This is very natural smelling and not super heavy on vanilla. Smells nothing like Csp Vanille Abricot.

(If anyone would like to try this, happy to trade decants for my want list.)
Syrupy vanilla with apricots and peaches. I love Laurence Dumont, but I have yet to find an apricot or peach scent that I like on myself. So for me it’s a no. Good staying power.

Syrupy apricots, soft floral powdery background and lots of vanilla, I think the apricot note is only slightly tart. I do not get any strong peach note, it is mostly Vanilla, as it develops it does resemble vanilla icecream. Simple easy to wear sweet gourmand fragrance, overall powdery and creamy, it’s inoffensive.

Just received a small decant of this. I love how sweet it is on me, like peaches & apricots with vanilla ice cream!
Will comment on longevity later today.

Just received this one and yes, I think I love it. Another very well done scent from the Les Senteurs Gourmandes range.
Vanille Abricot is a very nice and simple peach & apricot scent. The fruits here are not tart, but syrupy and warm. As others already described, smells a lot like vanilla ice cream with apricots and peaches. I am not the kind of person who likes to go out smelling like food most of the times, but I think I can pull this off, since it’s very well crafted. Not recommended for those who dislike sweet.
In terms of development, it is quite linear, which is not necessarily a bad thing. It gets a little less sweet in the drydown with a hint of some kind of floral undertone (roses maybe), but doesn’t change drastically. The sillage is moderate and the lasting power is good, specially if you consider what a bargain this is.
I see this as something that could be worn all year round… warm enough for winter and fruity enough for summer. Simple, laid back and delicious.

I just received my Vanille Abricot this afternoon. I opened the box and sprayed it on immediately. It smells nice, very creamy like vanilla ice cream with a warm apricot compote generously laddled over the top. I like it but it’s different for me. I’ll have to wear it a few times to get myself acquainted with this new fragrance. I’m a big Mugler wearer so I’m used to more audacious fragrances. This one is much more demure.

This smells like Oranzada which is a Polish soft drink.
It’s a pretty and natural syrupy peaches and cream scent. Quite delightful, it also slightly reminds me of Peach Ice Tea, heavily sugared.
It’s very cute and extremely well crafted, smells like a 120EUR scent and it on was on a Valentines discount in M&S for 12EUR. Incredible value for money for 100ml.
I’m very happy with this.
Edit: I’ve changed this from like to love. Especially today as it’s a gorgeous Indian Summer day in Ireland, I’ve applied with a moderate hand and the sillage just has me swooning. In my mind this makes me think of sitting on a bench in the sunshine eating peaches and cream. Yummy.

My second favourite of the Les Senteurs Gourmandes collection! Keep it up and dont discontunue any of them as they are not ubiquitous but are very nice smelling and reasonably priced.

Imagine a delicious cookie, fed to children as a very rare treat, made of almondy/vanilla biscotti body with an apricot jam inside. Washed down with a creamy glass of milk. Well this is that cookie in a bottle. For the gourmand lover. Great lasting power – even from one squirt. Could still smell it lingering after 6hrs.
NikSergeef – :
If I smelled this without knowing I was supposed to smell apricots, well then, would be surprised at the notes. Smells sugary and gourmand, no fault with that. Yet on me it has got some woody undertone that I find hard to put my finger on. Longevity looks OK so far, 2 hours wearing and I can still smell it on my wrist.
Снайпер X – :
A beautiful gourmand scent, sweet and creamy abricots with melted sugar on top! Not too cloying though, as it remains quite fresh and sweet. Abricot ice cream anyone? 🙂
дракон – :
I love all the Laurence Dumont line of gourmand vanilla fragrances. This is a wonderful house producing affordable, delicious perfumes made from fine quality, organic ingredients, free of synthetic, chemical yuckiness (yay!). Abricot Vanille in particular grabbed my attention. I find the combination of apricot and vanilla irrisistable (as in Lancome’s Tresor, one of my all-time favorites). This is a sweet, fruity fragrance, so for those of you who don’t like sweet, this may not be for you. But for those of you sweet gourmand lovers out there, this is delicious and delectable!!! As Abricot Vanille warms up on your skin, it gets much better and the notes blend together in perfect harmony. There are faint traces of floral in the background (rose, perhaps?), but mostly I smell sweet apricot vanilla candy. Longevity – 6 hours + … Tres bon! : )

BEST SMELL EVER!!

This scent reminds me of sun-ripened apricots with frozen vanilla yogurt yum! Its light, fruity, fuzzy, not too sweet, and simple.
A simple review for a simple fragrance isn’t a bad thing. Great for layering or spring and summer days when you want to be fresh and a minimalist.

This is a gourmand scent with emphasis on apricot, best suited for spring and summer. It is sweet, innocent, girly, fruity perfume that is luxurious and very long lasting! It’s also great for young girls that want to smell fantastic. I haven’t smelled any other type of vanilla apricot perfumes that I can compare this to. It must be of natural ingredients as it doesn’t smell synthetic at all. The vanilla note is present but not dominant in this composition. I remember wearing this scent and as soon as I got off the car a man complemented me on how good I smelled. Although it says it is a unisex scent I think is best suited for women.
