Nice Vanilla…
This is certainly a very real smelling, wonderful vanilla based fragrance. As far as I am aware, This brand always offers good value for money. I don’t find it too simplistic I think it’s a deep, dark vanilla with orchid and I like it. I am not sure if it’s discontinued but if it is it’s a shame for vanilla lovers.

If this lasted longer it would be the perfect vanilla.

This fragrance is intriguing. The initial spray does have a sharp quality to it, as a prior reviewer already said. But it fades fairly quickly and the dry-down is powdery sweet. If you’re familiar with LUSH and the seasonal offering of Snowcake, it smells almost similar to that to my nose! It’s almost like marzipan. Staying power is weak, like a number of Pacifica perfumes; the only ones so far that even stay on the skin is Island Vanilla and French Lilac.

Vanilla Vera Cruz does have a slightly strange, almost sharp quality to it…but in a way that I love. This smells like freshly-made whipped cream, sweetened with plenty of rich Bourbon vanilla extract, and with juicy-ripe, exotic fruits creamed in. There is a mild spice that emerges in the drydown, making the vanilla even richer. Simple and delicious…big thumbs up for this inexpensive gem.

I don’t know if I happened to receive an “expired” bottle, but there is something definitely sour and a tad rotten smelling about this juice at first. I hate to say it, but something remniscent of the little stream of liquid grossness that the garbage truck leaves behind on a humid summer day? But mixed with with a gritty baking vanilla that eventually goes the way of powdery. I just don’t know. This does not last very long and has fairly quiet sillage. I’m usually very satisfied with Pacifica scents – unfortunately not this one.

This is my very favorite Pacifica fragrance. The first time I sprayed it, I thought it smelled strange. It was almost a tad spicy, almost like cinnamon, and a bit greener than I expected. It was later that I saw there was orchid in the top notes, so then it made sense. The orchid fades within several minutes, and the perfume becomes more like a soft, sweet, vanilla marshmallow. It’s a great scent for layering, esp with other Pacifica fragrances. Longevity could be improved. It only lasts a couple of hours on me.
