Basically, this reads on skin as a sweet floral. To me, it is pure frangipane. That’s the combo of the sharp fig leaf and sweet pineapple with a creamy coconut. This is not a fruity scent other than in the sense of how ylang can come across fruity because of its sweetness. The vanilla is detected in the middle but this is not a vanillic/gourmand fragrance. It’s a pretty floral on my skin on a cool spring day.

It’s okay. I don’t get any coconut but some vanilla. I find it masculine

Has anyone seen the Vanilla Collection set by Susanne Lang anywhere or has one to sell themselves? It has been discontinued and i can’t find one anywhere and would love to get one. The set includes 9 little roll ons of all her vanilla creations like vanilla coconut, vanilla champagne etc.

I tested this with the smell and taste of Malibu, one of my favourite summer drinks in mind, and maybe that was a mistake, because I prefer smelling Malibu! This fragrance is pleasant, but not interesting enough to me I’m afraid. I find it smells a bit cheap and too light, but still it’s very recognisable coconut. Nice for summer though. I agree with Gosha, it does smell like tropical fruit with a zingy note. I guess I’m not one for zingy notes…

This is quite adorable! Very simple, clean, warm and somehow tender. Like some other reviewers (on the LuckyScent.com), I am getting more of pinaple/coconut combo than vanilla, particularly at the beginning, but it’s just so fresh and the light, innocent sweetness seems to be perfectly balanced by the very gently soursweet tropical spiciness of the fruit (or maybe it’s the ginger that adds the zingy note…?). Yes, it might bring out a few memories of coconut sun tan lotion :-), but in a subtle, yet contradictorily luxurious and I almost dare to say “opulent” 😀 way. A pretty tropical fairy. 🙂
