    A crazy thing!!
United Colors of Benetton Unisex reminds “conceptual” fragrances like Carolina Herrera Aqua and many others like, in a aquatic sense.
To me the only relation with Mugler Cologne is the green tone and no more.
Very effective fragrance for hot and warm weather, is sharp, green, mineral and very active and addictive, somehow is a jovial and indiscreet scent with a great performance.
Great at day or night, clubbing or beach, for sure no one else will wear this green diamond!
The bottle is amazing and decorative, if you find it a reasonable price, SHOOT!

Ok, this is the Benetton you’re looking for. Young, fresh, green and non generic, happy & summery.
It’s citrus, happy citrus embracing the refreshing bamboo note which is what makes it stand out. A hidden gem, suitable for really warm days!
This will get 4 starts because it’s uber pleasant, it stays on for 6 hours with good sillage and it has one of the most beautiful bottles I’ve ever seen!
I consider myself lucky finding a 125ml bottle of this by accident!

Verde, refrescante, pra mim lembra muito Mugler Cologne, porem com fixação e projeção maiores, por 1/4 do preço.

More citric and woody than United colors of benetton for men. I get more tart semi-ripe bergamot from this than anything else, it’s almost like a tart green apple. And I can’t help but like anything with bamboo, it’s so clean yet lightly woody. Guys or girls can wear this with ease. Check it out if you’re looking for a refreshing slightly edgy fragrance for casual day use.
    Score 6/10

The Green one is refreshing, clear, lightly woody – and neutral 🙂
It was a blind buy because of bergamot in the description, and this note alongside with bamboo is really present in this light scent for everyday 🙂
I used it rather as a body mist as it is too light and a longevity of it is very modest. It’s also good for a gym.

It’s a sharp citrus fragrance (not lemon – I do get the neroli and the bergamot). There’s an undertone of green, pithy wood: a good, though not exact, impression of the scent of fresh-cut bamboo. That’s what distinguishes this typical, albeit long-lasting, pick-me-up cologne and makes for the unisex attribute. Some people have issues with the bottle design but I like it a lot! Works so well Benetton has issued other fragrances with the same design. I am a fan of this house with its inexpensive, high-quality scents.

I love this.another of my work-day scents.Out of the shower fresh and I can’t go wrong with that based on my body chemistry. It’s all citrus to my nose but grounded well enough by bamboo scents (if you’ve ever smelled fresh cut young bamboo, that is-which I love)

Good fragrance. The opening is nice and clean and definitely amongst my favorites.
This is a true unisex fragrance. However, the dry down is too feminine because of the cotton floral notes in it. This is something that I would recommend for a woman instead. Projection isn’t strong or overpowering. This can be worn as a sports fragrance as well.
Considering the price tag, can’t complain what comes out of the house of Benetton. It doesn’t smell synthetic like their other fragrances.
Very nice glass bottle. If the fragrance was linear from the opening and has better longevity, then it would be amongst the best out there. I wish Benetton put more money into their fragrances with better or higher quality ingredients, because they do make great fragrances (I would pay full retail for their fragrances)

This is one of my all time favorites.
    Its very different. Purely Citrus.
But as it settles down, its more sweeter but it retains its citrus notes.
A really good one for summer.
Opening is sharp though but it gets sweeter as it settles down.
If you’re trying it for the first time then don’t go for the opening scent, it’s really awesome after an hour. Love it.
    I recommend this.

Unisex by Benetton is a winner! It is a gorgeous casual frag, spontaneous, modern and clean, and yet with some personality. Sorry gesch, but I found nothing disturbing about it from the beginning to the end. I expected something more punchy refreshing, buy this is very pleasant and chic, in an outgoing Nordic (I would not say Italian) and urban fashion. Highly recommended, what you get for the price is really worthwhile.

Honestly I really dislike Benetton’s frag, but this one is so much more different than the others…All of Benetton’s products are so synthetic, that I can’t stand them, but not this one. Perfect decision for the summer, for office work or just to refresh your body!

My very FIRST “signature” scent was Colors by Benetton for Men (in the opaque black bottle) and I loved their clothes and their socially conscious ad campaigns. It comes as no surprise that, decades later, when perfume has become an all-consuming passion…I would come back to this house and fall in love all over again!!
THANK YOU, ANUP, for the generous decant of this truly amazing scent, and then…for bringing me a FULL NIB bottle of this! YOU ROCK!!
The name itself always “sounded” like something I would wear, personally embody AND embrace. SCENT, in and of itself, has NO gender; so when I saw this one labelled as such, I was so happy…and when I finally got to smell it, I was very pleased indeed!!
The first spray revealed a beautiful balance of a sheer bitter bergamot and a soft smooth neroli. This resonates somewhere between the archetypal associations of masculine and feminine; so far, so good! I can almost see the dew sparkling on the morning grass while feeling the sun cutting through the lingering mists and spreading its warmth on the new day, this is amazing! Its heart is subtly green with bamboo and cleanly fresh with the cotton flower’s softness. This fragrance is very “green”, but also quite subtle, yet it lasts! As the dew dries up, and the mist is gone, freshness abounds and all around me Nature sings her verdant song, yet never overpowers my own. A very nice (and not too synthetic) white musk lingers in the drydown, along with the shady green and ever so slightly pungent guaiac wood and, after many hours, this settles softly, like the perfect ending to the perfect day. This is something that will make you feel clean and pure, like a shower, dancing in the rain or a walk through a shady vale. There are many Houses that claim to make “unisex” perfumes, but I believe Benetton has actually done it. UCOB UNISEX straddles the typical “male” and “feminine” roles by being none of either and more than both. It just is…
    Sillage: okay
    Longevity: average
    Overall: 4/5
It is inevitable that this would end up being compared to Thierry Mugler’s Cologne; they DO have similarities such as: they are both unisex, both built the same and both strive to give you that “clean” citric and light yet subtle floral feeling. I find that COLOGNE is simpler, yet stronger, than this; but this has a “lushness” to it that Mugler’s creation (which I also adore) does not. Both scents are beautiful and worth owning…what it comes down to is which one YOU, personally, prefer.
    Me? I love ’em both!

I got this on clearance at Kohls for $2.60, and i must say that it’s probably the best $2.60 i’ve EVER spent.
This fragrance is so soft and clean.
The neroli is very pungent in it’s composition, and alongside the bamboo and bergamot, smells very green without becoming stringent or “compost” like.
An extremely slight hint of soapy sweetness leaves you feeling very sober and refreshed.
I would recommend this to the person looking to capture that 8’o’clock in the morning feeling!
    I approve.

I purchased this through eBay, at a friendly price.
The reason I wanted to try it, is that I had been given a tester-spray a few years back and -although it was nothing like the perfumes I usually go for- after using one tester, I really grew fond of its freshness, and the unique cotton-clean-powdery feeling. I liked it far more than the “red” version for women [I disliked that one so much, I couldn’t even finish the tester, I just threw it away].
I thought Benetton Unisex would be great as a casual scent for warm weather, fresh and easy-going.
Unfortunately I was disappointed after the first few sprays. Though green and fresh, this scent was really flat, not complex enough, didn’t develop at all, and had little lasting power.
It was nothing like the scent I remembered, and I am really puzzled; how can I have such positive memories of something that smells so plain and ordinary now(?)
Fortunately the bottle is original enough for my taste, I think it looks interesting with the shiny metal top and the bright green semi-transparent bottle inside.
For the time being I’m keeping it for decorative reasons 😉

This is a strange fresh scent. It starts on me with a disturbing bergamot(but I found out I’m sensitive to neroli, maybe that’s it). Soon the bamboo settles.I don’t smell any flowers. On me it’s a kind but at the same time fresh bamboo with bergamot, and then it gets more powdery. I don’t smell the musk or the wood as such, but the smell settles very nicely into a ‘fresh powder’.
I have to say that I find it pretty close to T.Mugler COLOGNE, too. Like already stated by afraafra!
It’s my cup of tea, but I know people who think I should swap it for another frag 😉
