Description
Prada is launching new exclusive collection of fragrances called Prada Olfactories containing ten editions: Purple Rain, Nue au Soleil, Tainted Love, Un Chant d’Amour, Cargo de Nuit, Heat Wave, Day for Night, Double Dare, Pink Flamingos and Marienbad. The creations are signed by perfumer Daniela (Roche) Andrier who said that that the scents are all intended to be “potent concoctions of the unexpected, provoking the cinematic experience of a partially remembered dream… It’s a strong vision that is far from cliché. They’re very different from what you’ll find on the market. They’re not done studying the trends of the market and create a bestseller; they are done out of the spirit of Prada.”
The fragrances are supposedly not done studying the trends of the market, but in keeping with the spirit of the house Prada. Each bottle contains a silk purse from Prada materials.
Un Chant D’Amour is a calming fragrance of crisp cotton with neroli and musk.
Available as 100 ml Eau de Parfum for $300.
Un Chant D’Amour was launched in 2015.
Gentosoo – :
I immediately get mimosa: a green, honeyed floral amplified by the softness of powdery musk with a touch of woody vanilla. Pleasantly clean and radiates with a cocooning floral warmth.
Rostikspin – :
deep, heavy musk with touch of neroli.
anton5110 – :
This is like a niche version of infusion d’homme
newlas – :
Whilst I agree with the below descriptions I don’t agree with the outcome, I love the smell and find it the best in the range and one of the nicer releases for the year. The only issue is the price
Reveka – :
Neroli really stands out, and cotton turns it into a breezy beach trip with a couple gummy bears thrown in. It does have a radiant green note that I can’t place. It’s clean and very casual, but not exciting.
zab266intitytek – :
This is very soft and comfortable, green and slightly floral (I guess that’s what they call neroli), the “cotton” reminds me of drier sheets and deodorant.. Overall pleasant but quite unimpressive like the rest of the line
