Yesterday after a shower I tested Dorin Jasmine. The temperature outside and inside was about 22 degrees (a summer in Netherlands). Wow, this jasmine it is gorgeus and super strong at first. Please don’t test it at office!!!. A blast of strong, dirty, animalic jasmine (with a fecal note). It is so natural, not perfumey at all. I thought about washing it out because my boyfriend say it was too much and it filled the entire room. Anyway a few minutes later it calmed down and turned into a skinscent. In the drydown a thought came to my mind: “I knew it reminded something else”. Of course the earthy mud soil as in Lily and Spice from Penhaligons. Today after 12 hours I can still smell it, faint but with that earthy note, cosy. I am glad I dind’t wash it off but next time I will have it only for myself.

very jasmine but i wonder if it’s Damascus Jasmine cause as far as i know it is that Damascus Jasmine isn’t that rancid like the Indian Jasmin! so it’s for jasmine lovers.
