Maison Dorin is synonymous with royal perfumes, as it is praised to be the oldest perfumery in France and the official cosmetics supplier of the Palace Versailles since 1780. After the collections Un Air de Paris and Un Air de Damas, a new perfume line is launched this year, named Un Air d’Arabie. Un Air d’Arabie is a line of four precious and luxurious perfumes, each of which represents a variation on the oriental theme: Rose of Taif, Musk, Amber and Oud.
Un Air d’Arabie combines two different cultures by collecting the traditional Arabic aromas and composing them in French perfumery style. The result is a fantastically sensual journey into the world of fragrances lead by the scents that are unpredictable and extremely valuable.
Un Air d’Arabie Oud combines the scent of western roses with the traditional oriental presence of agar wood.

Good quality, very strong oud scent. I have it but the smell of oud is simply too strong and recognizable to wear daily. This particular Dorin fragrance can be blended with others (use very sparingly) to add a middle eastern dimension. Spray in the air no more than once and walk into the mist.

Ive always wanted to smell this way: like the wealthy arabian woman: distinct and sweet. I tried Aromatics by clinique and it gave me the smell but it was a little too strong. After years of trying different oud notes, I bought this bottle a few days ago and even though its a lot more expensive than your everyday designer perfume, I like the way I smell. I feel sexy yet not over-bearing. This perfume is my dream come true.
