I’m always fascinated by middle-East brands that, being outside the traditional mainstream market distribution, are automatically labelled “niche”.
But, over time, I’ve learnt that lesser distribution and higher prices don’t always equal niche quality, and Nishane is one of these.
As for Tuberoza, I approached it with high expectations, being a tuberose fanatic, but I was disappointed. I get more gardenia-tangerine than tuberose here, but most of all I get a synthetic musky base that’s reminiscent of Bond no. 9’s innumerable copies of flowery mess, in an attempt to please the masses.
Sad.

The first time I tried this scent I thought I’d hit the mother load. I was even willing to dish out for the incredible price tag if I found it was as good as it seemed. But then sadly I realized one thing, the musk is uncontrolable. I am finicky when it comes to musk. Sometimes, when it’s subtle, and clearly depending on the type, I really don’t mind it. Other times, when it’s in your face, overwhelming “hey I’m musk” in style, I just can’t take it. This beautiful amazing fragrance is literally clobbered by musk. If only they would remove it entirely it could be incredible. On the up side my wallet thanks them, because wow what a price tag!

Very nice opening flower with orange blossom and ylang-ylang.. melancholic. Unfortunately in the drydown is very confused and I do not like it… Not bad, but it’s not for me!
Sillage: 9./10
Longevity: 10./10
Scent: 7./10
Overall: 7./10

This is a gardenia tuberose with slight peaches, niroli, ylang ylang, sandalwood, and more little white floral. This is very pleasant and superbly blended.
White floral at max with joy.

Tuberose and ylang ylang are the main notes giving the scent a green banana tropical vibe. It is a big white flower perfume with a bold sillage and very long lasting. You must deeply love strong white florals to fall for this one.

If you are a tuberose lover, you should try this one. It’s a soft, modern tuberose heaven. It opens with a nice orange-tuberose harmony. In an hour gardenia, musk and sandalwood take the stage with tuberose. The drydown is creamy, very smooth and definitely gorgeous. The sillage is huge and the longevity is at least 10 hours.

This is the most beautiful tuberose that I’d ever smelled it. I love it! It’s unique, I want a huge bottle!:)
