The tuberose is definitely an opulent floral, so I was wary of it, but I find this beautifully balanced. The overall impression on me is spicy, and the boozy and tobacco notes keep the florals from being too sweet. It’s rich, dark, mysterious, voluptuous. I can imagine it for an evening party, a mess-up-the-sheets night, or a night in with a mystery novel in front of the fireplace.
