Description
In autumn 2012 Trussardi is launching a new fragrance named Trussardi Delicate Rose, with a beautiful floral-fruity-musky composition created by perfumer Nathalie Lorson. Nature of this edition can be described as very feminine and energetic, created skillfully to highlight its modern character with sensual and elegant shades.
Top notes of Trussardi Delicate Rose offer an unusual, refreshing and very optimistic blend of bamboo, cumquat and yuzu. Lush flowers of rose in the heart are surrounded with elegant white jasmine and airy lotus flowers. In order to soften floral notes in the heart, Nathalie Lorson adds juicy apple to tame the intense, floral character. Base notes contain subtle woody notes composed of cedar, sandalwood, blond wood and musk.
Trussardi Delicate Rose is available in elegant glass flacons colored in pink, in amounts of 30, 50 and 100 ml EDT. On top of the fragrance, the collection includes accompanying body care products. Advertising face of the new edition is Anja Rubik.

It is a safe choice, a nice smell to use at work. People around you will love it. It’s a bit generic, a roses perfume but with class. Given the name, you will smell like roses, but in a good way. I don’t think I will buy this again but if I get it as a gift I will keep and use it all up 🙂

It’s a lovely light and fresh rose scent with a bit of crisp zest. Uncomplicated, yet very uplifting.
Sadly this doesn’t even survive half an hour in the climate I live in (Mumbai, average 35° Celsius / 95 Fahrenheit, easily 80% humidity).
It just makes me feel fresh for the minute I apply it, is slightly perceptible still when I’m still inside in the AC, but as soon as I step outside, poof, gone.
I’d only buy this again if I know I’ll stay for some time in a more European moderate climate. There I imagine it to be the perfect everyday wear spring scent.

It is so beautiful, feminine, a bit powdery. I feel a lots of apples, a bit fresh rose. Excellent for hot weather,so fresh and yet elegant. Could be one of my favorites.
Still, very weak in longevity, too bad.No trace of fragrance in 1 hour…

I agree with all saying that it’s delicate,fresh and ozonic.. at the beggining yes 🙂 but now that I sprayed it 2 small sprays on my neck like 1 hour ago.. different,heavier notes showing of 🙂 it’s for sure made not from cheap materials. I see italian donna wearing this during the daytime 🙂 strooling through Via Condotti in Roma 🙂 and entering Trussardi’s boutique.. elegant one,but staying simple at the same time.. as all italians do.. you can see quality,but it’s not labels everywhere 😉

A fresh and energetic floral fruity scent. Rose is prominent but in combination with lotus, yuzu and apple notes it smells more watery which I appreciate. It’s sporty and elegant at the same time. More suitable for the hot days of spring and summer. As a matter of fact the more I smell this fragrance the more I associate it with spring season. It literally reminds me of spring time: the flowers blooming, the cool air of the early morning, the dew on the green grass and flowers, the blue skies, light clothes, the laughter of children in the park. It’s a happy, girly scent.

I guess I prefer my fragrances more on the light and airy side. This one is just that. It feels fresh, clean and feminine, great for hot summer weather, because it’s not heavy, and is nice in the winter as well – because it will remind you of a beautiful summer garden. The rose note is combined beautifully with some sweet citrus and smells amazing. Yes, there definitely are similar fragrances out there, but I appreciate Trussardi’s elegance and style. Also – the bottle is very tastefully done. The sillage and longevity however are not great and I do wish it would last longer.

Delicate rose is an unusual rose fragrance, the strangest I’ve ever come across and therefore I love it. I have enjoyed Donna Trussardi and I knew that this flanker would not smell anything like it but I was drawn to the peculiar pairing of notes. The top notes are each detectable and come at you in a sweet delicious breeze. There’s yuzu fruit and kumquat and a touch of bamboo wood. It smelled like a fruit stand in an open air bazaar market place in Hong Kong. The sweetness of the yuzu is what most stands out about this fragrance, especially at the first spritz. So I would definitely call this a fruity scent. But then it turns into a floral with mostly rose lotus and a little jasmine. I would still call this as fruity scent however as the yuzu smell never left my nose. But the rose blooms very beautifully and it’s performing a lovely waltz with the lotus. Usually lotus is a strong scent but here it’s subtle. The rose too is very subtle. There is a green apple scent that comes out of nowhere and it smells a bit like green apple scented shampoo but I don’t mind that at all. As the fragrance dries, it’s evident that the fruits and flowers are sitting atop a base of woods. This is a lovely sandalwood and wood dry-down. Everything about this fragrance is just as it’s name implies: delicate, soft, subtle and very sweet. And yet with all the different notes it still does manage to smell like a rose, almost like it all goes back to a rose soliflore. That’s because of the notes in it that can turn rose-scented once it becomes a perfume: apple (which is a fruit related to the rose) the lotus in this fragrance also smells like a rose. Sweet, floral and fruity scent to welcome the spring into your life.

A nice combination of rose with lotus and citrus and (best parf for me)green apple(so delicious.a lovely mixture of sour and sweet)and at last woody scenes…it smells young and fresh and charming…delicate rose is a nice choice for hot days when you want to smell like the princess of nature
It is a shame that this lovely scene can only be smelled on my skin…no sillage!! 🙁

While Donna 2011 turns into a clean creamy scent thanks to the patchouli and vanilla at the end, this stays clean. And delicate throughout the whole journey.

Such a light and uncomplicated little thing. Delicate Rose is a good, easy to wear staple for the summer months, as it’s fresh, feminine and bright, with a touch of sweetness.
This fruity-floral reminds me of Versace’s Bright Crystal in the top notes, and it’s much smoother and less astringent here. The refreshing and citrusy yuzu dominates the opening, before it develops into a very light and watery rose. It’s a little shampooey as well and did unfortunately give me a bit of a headache. Soft sillage; lasts for about 4-5 hours 🙂

12 july 2015: It was on my wish list for sometime before I had an occasion to find and buy it. It’s difficult to find and it is not sold in Sephora. Finally I found it in duty free shop during transfers between Greek flights.
Now I’m a happy owner of this fragrance.
It’s not a loud toilet water. The scent is fresh, subtle and delicate without a huge trail and with moderate lasting power. I reapply it at least once during the day after 5-6 hours of wearing and it is sufficient to feel it all the day long.
It’s a cosy slightly honeyed scent with prominent rose, magnolia and musk. About 1,5 h or so later prominent notes change and I feel better bamboo, yuzu, cedar and woody notes. I prefer the opening.
It’s not my all time favourite but I enjoy it enough to keep in my collection. I bought a big bottle and do not regret my purchase.
Update 19/06/17: it is a perfect fresh scent for summer and hot weather. Finally it has a huge lasting power (more than 10h) and a descent trail. There is no need to reapply it during the day. A very good finding.

And the citrus is very sour, it smells like grapefruit.
I don`t get much rose actually.
Smells kind of masculine and Light Blue-ish.

The association that comes to my mind when I think about this perfume is a Wedding day, because for me it is an ideal bridal perfume. Divine delicate rose petals. Fresh, clean, subtle, innocent and elegant. Pretty good longevity, but it depends on the season of the year. All-in-all just gorgeous.

this perfumme really suits with its name ‘delicate’ rose different from other rose perfumme perhaps they are more bold in certain way

At first it was too much for me, but it turned softer after some time.
I still find it slushy. It’s a matter of taste, there’s a lot of great rose scents and this is not perfect for me.

This is one of those fragrances that breaks my heart. A sales associates spread this on a tester strip for me and I loved it immediately. I was surprised to find out it was a rose-based fragrance as I generally don’t like them and the rose wasn’t overwhelming in this one. Sadly, when I tried it on my skin, it just ended up smelling like sweet milk to me. The lovely top notes burned off immediately but the milky smell remained for hours.

The funny thing is – I’m not just getting red roses from this. It’s more like a huge bouquet of multi-colored and sweetly scented roses that you can’t resist. It definitely has a fruity side to it – but is well grounded in florals.
I am so so glad and thankful I decided to pick this up as a blind buy from strawberrynet.
If you remember an impulse spray from the 90’s called ‘Alive’… this is the exact fragrance!

Light, aquatic, airy rose. The bright and refreshing quality of Delicate Rose is not too sharp, either (no Bright Crystal). It’s a great meeting of the worlds for people who adore rose but are also addicted to the invigoration that only a fruity musk or aquatic scent can offer.
Sometimes I am weary of musk in floral compositions because it is heavy handed but the musk in Delicate Rose is, well, delicate. 🙂 The apple and yuzu balance out the rose and musk perfectly.
Here’s a thought: imagine Delicate Rose was as popular as Light Blue? They are similar but DR is an enhanced alternative. The aquatic, fruity and floral aspects are in full force here, and in more of a graceful harmony.
Delicate Rose is refined and feminine but all-in-all, I would argue, not delicate. Just angelic and charming.

..the initial spray is fresh bright light citrusy lightly florly ..a beautiful fresh connotation of white musks bright crispy yuzu or pink grapefruits and camkunt layered with white florals it smells like British floral bouquets but ever so light not cloying not sickeningly ..diffenetlly fresh and bright and crisp yet sensual and lovely a perfect afternoon tea rose connotation of girly womanly slightly serenely seductive charming in its own innocence and uplifting..a bit of white woods in the dry down ..oh i just wish it lasts longer you seriously have to reapply so much to keep smelling the entire composition from beginning to end all over again its the first time in my life i actually almost finish a 100 ml bottle in a month ..i think it makes for a perfect top layering perfume that freshen up and brighten up any combinations its a bit sweet in a floraly bright white sensual way ..

I am huge fan of moderate rosy notes, so no wonder that Delicate Rose enchanted me totally. Rose mixed with apple and lotus makes this fragrance very, very fresh and charming, unlike many other rosy scents, which are sultry and a bit old-fashioned. I can recommend this fragrance even to I-do-not-like-rose perfume fans.

Today was the first time I tested any Trussardi perfumes and while sniffing my way around a perfume section of an upmarket department store I happened to come across three of them that I liked the smell of in their bottle so decided to test them.
Although I like the smell of roses I’m not normally a big fan of rose’ish perfumes, for some reason, but this one I really like. As the name indicates, it’s a delicate, feminine, soft perfume but it’s not overwhelmingly rosey and is a little fruity and musky in the drydown. It’s the kind of perfume that is suitable for almost any occasion – work, play, weddings, romantic dates, etc – and I really doubt anyone could find it repellant! Ditto the other two Trussardi perfumes I tested.
On my skin the sillage was fine and the perfume has lasted well over 12 hours so I think these perfumes are pretty high quality and they do smell that way.
One thing that I really liked about these Trussardi perfumes was that the bottles are simple and stylish and there’s a little tag around the necks which details the notes, from top to bottom, with a brief description of some of them. The only other perfume I’ve come across where the notes are listed like that is Hard Candy so it’s unusual and I really wish more perfumes came with detailed descriptions of the notes.

This is a very fresh, ozonic and clean rose scent. Like a rose after a cool morning rain. I wouldn’t say it’s the most autentic rose perfume that I have ever smelled. It’s an all over NICE perfume. I don’t get any citrus, I mostley get the same slightley watery, kind of fresh rosy scent. It changes little and stays pretty much the same. Like all rose scents it’s kind of classy and well suited for most occations.
I don’t really understand the ratings for sillage/lasting power. On me it stays on for all day (more than 4-5 hours) and the sillage is also very good during the day. I do like this scent, but since Im not a rose lover I have no crazy cravings for it.
*Scent 6/10 minus for being slightley syntetic and watery. But plus for sillage/lasting power!

I have already had a bottle of it ..now is thinking of another one as I found nothing of the kind except Donna by Trussaardi or Inside Delight (* a real delight ffor a wearer and sniffer ) of the same brand.
It may be inetersting to learn Trussardi brand was launched more than 100 years ago , might be the reason of such perfect combination of different ingredients …

Tried this one yesterday. The opening was so nice, clean and tender I was almost sure I’d have a bottle. I don’t mind rose but on the middle note there’s too much of it for me. I was so surprised how such a nice smell could turn into something repelling like that. May be I should give it another try sometimes later.

This fragrance is pleasant but not very unique. You can name dozens of EDT that smell like Delicate rose. But I must say that I am very pleased that it doesn’t smell like boring rosewater. It’s actually very fresh and suitable for hot summer days. I get a nice mix of rose, jasmine and lotus. However the silage and longevity aren’t that great (at least on me). After two hours it’s gone. I guess Delicate Rose would fit someone who prefers fresh and gentle fragrances during summer and doesn’t want to smell like another citrus lady with D&G Light Blue.

This is ideal for summer. I don’t get woody, though I’m quite unfamiliar with bamboo as a note. I get alot of lotus and rose. I’m not sure i would describe this scent as delicate, there are far more delicate florals out there. It’s more watery, ozonic rose on me. In the opening there is something quite metallic.. It settles very fresh and remains fresh for hours. It lasts well. For me, it’s a keeper.. Very pleased with this blind swap! Thank you smelling_gr8 🙂

I liked it as the delicate combination produces a tender wonderful veil which is long -lasting : I sprayed it in the afternoon as still can enjoy it in the evening…
The composition itself is very elegant and sparlking like the beginning of sunny summer with green meadows full of colourful butterflies and birds singing … Not offensive at all …
To my mind, suitable for frosty mornings and hot summer days at the same time , amazing, isn`t it 🙂

Fresh,refreshing,light,fruity and watery rose. Well suited for hot humind days and summer, inoffensive, poor sillage and not great longevity. Still, it is very pleasant and quite similar to Caron Rose, in fact they could be twins. It is nice bt it is not WOW, which is a shame.
