“All main values of the brand Trussardi are within this fragrance. Strong and diverse, it attracts and wins over as a new fragrant weapon of seduction,” as announced by the brand Trussardi. The new fragrance Trussardi Black Extreme is based on aristocratic notes of leather surrounded with elegant woody notes.
The composition opens with a luminous and shiny union of Italian lemon and aromatic sea notes, which lead to the fruity-gourmand heart in which the main role is played by dark plum providing characteristic, modern charm to powdery iris from Italy. The base incorporates vetiver and patchouli enhanced with leather, contributing to dark, masculine character of the fragrance.
The fragrance is available in a dark flacon shaped like the previous edition for men Trussardi Uomo 2011. The perfume can be obtained as 50 ml EDT and 100 ml EDT.
Trussardi Black Extreme was launched in 2014.

This is a very pleasant but generic warm weather scent with great versatility. Quite misleading its name, this is not “extreme” but very light with low-moderate longevity and soft sillage.
This is not a plum scent. All I get is a soft combo of mild notes of leather, citruses, sea notes, patchouli and faint iris. Where is the plum which I love?…

if by “extreme” they mean it last even for an hour or two, compared to their other flankers giving up around the 20mins mark…then yes, it is extreme AF:D
otherwise there is nothing extreme about it. in fact it reminds me of some aftershave my dad used to wear in the 80s (could be hatrix?) to be fair, they did make a generally oldschool flavour a little bit less old school, so it is wearable, but forget smelling like anything extreme or outstanding. it is still a decent dad smell that is def on the sweet side. it is not a cloying, in the face sweetness, more like a come and go type of underlying sweetness that comes from plum, and can at time also get a bit boozey like those heavy plum spirits of east europe.
all in all it is a safe winter office scenario (suit wearing office is what im talking about) if you are into having a touch of sweet in your frag and not out there to impress, kick ass or get laid:D
the performance is unfortunetely below avrage (but above the recent trussardi miseries that came out in the last 3-4 years)
ps: recently i came accross a frag that is not really a note by note relative of this, but definetely in the sweeter, suit wearing office league. its epmire by trump. all in all it performs way better, and is somewhat easier to take it seriously than this. so if you are on the look out for some winter office frag with some sweet kick to it, i would for sure go with trump empire. just a side note.

Let’s forget about the name extreme, it is not alpha male fragrance, quite sweet in start and floral as well. Iris is very stable in it. It’s not like lipsticks or play-doh kind of iris. It gives powdery vibe. I find it more unisex leaning towards feminine. Longevity is good with good performance. Best for fall and winter season

I can agree with Endymion that the fragrance settles as subtle, although it lasts long and has very own character – not like any other.
I do believe though it is a great misconception in the name – which is almost for sure a marketing failure – that many people connect “extreme” with “intense” or just “strong”/”forte”.
The fragrance is Black Extreme, not Uomo Extreme. It is extremely black, “absolute black” as Trussardi Parfums claim. No one promised it as a strenghten version of Uomo – it’s just less bright, deeper – darker, more velvety (plum and iris), black extreme. Anyway that’s my feeling. I’ve choosen this over the Uomo version. I just find it more pleasing, more opulent and versatile to be honest, because it suits both formal and informal occasion.

I find this product kind of a fraud. Even that it’s called (Trussardi Uomo) Black EXTREME, it’s not even extreme at all. What’s more the original Trussardi Uomo is stronger, longer lasting, has better projection, all the notes are better pronounced.
This should be called Trussardi Uomo Delicate or Subtle or Light, because it is!
Why call something Extreme when it’s weaker than the original???

Heaven in a bottle. Two sprays lasts a very long day! I get complimented a lot with this perfume. Slightly similar to Trussardi Uomo. Gives you a very modern and elegant feel.

Ageless, dazzling, dark impression …….
Refreshing start.. Then, smoky and aromatic sweet …. because of the plum …..
Final stage is clear skin and elegant final chord.

The only problem for me in the name “extreme” ….. ???
I think more “sensual” or perhaps “signature” stance, but did not feel “extreme” the smell !!! But no matter …. wonderful fragrance!
For me the big favorite this year ….. well done!

First of all this is not extreme. Longevity is also average. It is a creamy oriental style cologne. I definitely get rose in the opening. In fact this cologne is similar to Burberry Brit in style but a tad bit more shy. Turns into creamy powdery/floral thanks to Iris note after 30 mins or so. Very pleasant and versatile cologne. Can be worn on summer nights too. I do not get any lemon in this. I prefer the original.

راستش قبل از اینکه اینکار لانچ بشه با توجه به دیزاین شیشه و همچنین اسم غلط اندازش که یه تریلی هم اونو نمیکشه انتظار یه کار تاریک و سنگین و دودی رو داشتم و فک میکردم با یه هیولا طرف خواهم بود اما همون ابتدای تست مشخص شد دروغه ، نه بلک بود نه اکستریم ، من بهش میگم تروساردی شل ، آبکی
استارت کار با بوی لیمو در بستری از روایح دریایی شروع میشه ، نت لیمو تو اینکار اون حالت فرش و شاداب معمول تو کارای دیگه رو نداره و خیلی بی حال و آروم هستش که میتونه بخاطر ترکیبش با نتهای آب و دریا باشه که یه حس رطوبت و نمناکی داره
این حالت حدود ۲۰ دقیقه رو اعصابه تا سر و کله زنبق پیداش میشه و یه دستی به سر و روی کار میکشه و اونو قابل تحملتر میکنهو به فاصله کمی ازون چرم که یکم ازون شیرینی و آبکی بودن اولیه کارو کمتر میکنه
با ورود وتیور تو نت پایانی هرچند ضعیف و معنا هندی رایحه کمی بهتر میشه و همینطور به پایان عمر کوتاهش نزدیک میشه
تروساردی بلک اکستریم یه رایحه معمولی و ضعیف داره و ارزشش نصف قیمتی هست که براش در نظر گرفتن
ماندگاریش حدود ۴ ساعت و پخشش ۱ ساعت

Another scent claiming to be EXTREME.
Well if you consider watery notes underlined by some iris and woody notes being extreme then you might be happy.
I do admit it smells typically Trussardi like.
However I wont opt in as I’m feeling mislead by the word extreme. I’d have expected something else.

Well done modern, masculine fragrance. Unusual, mature freshness of citrus and sweetnes of plum, definitely recognisable in this potion together with woody background with a strong leather accord. Oldschool-deodorant-like beggining of the composition make it true “eau de toilette” making cleanness impression. The core and base on the other hand make it elegant, going out really. So I find it quite universal, suiting well morning grooming of gentleman as well as for evening occasion.
This is somehow masculine version of “Femme” by Rochas to me – tamed, less sweet with the same bohem character, which I find very nice.
The downside is that it seems rather discreet after a while, but I need to test it again soon in milder aura.
EDIT:
It is quite potent during first 2 hours, then subtle, although very longlasting. There’s something extraoridinary with this fragrance, which I love. Definitely test before purchase though.

Starts fresh nice-lemony and understandably attractive but generic.
The combination of maybe plum and iris all merge to give an overriding main note of rose to me.
Definitely very very wearable but quality and blending wise, it’s pretty meh.
And nothing really warm and exotic stands out like blackcurrant or rich amber, just plain but pleasant woody drydown along with the ‘caloney’ ‘rose’ note.
However, the very nice iris note adds much needed interest, depth and dimension to the equally interesting ‘plum’ note there.
But sadly, the ‘fresh’ notes dominate a little too far and the plum/iris combo accord along maybe with leather that could have been taken into something very interesting just never quite occurred.
So it lacks that ‘X’ factor, or ‘Identity’ you get with say, Chergui or Byredo’s Pulp – scent’s I really dislike but have that ‘X’ factor.
Aventus is one I do like with it, that’s where designers like these lose out – it’s too much of a dare and mass-market ‘compromise’ to focus on a ‘note’ strongly and push it out there.
A cut above stuff like Burberry homme, a Givenchy or 2 but if you’re looking for dark plummy dare or mysterious iris, you’re not missing much at all.
Still, the best of the brand and actually as far a designers go, one of the safest and ‘Best’ Quality products.

Not that extreme but quite interesting.
The main note are the watery accords and these are surrounded by leather and patchouly.
This is something for an elegant businessman.

Good scent, very strong! According to me it smells good, and I recommend it! The Sea notes will last until the end and feels. It ‘a perfume that suits, modern and bright!

First minute after spray it smells very cheap,and similar to cheap sport designers fragrances like adidas etc. But after 10 minutes it become more settle and smells very close to Versace Eros, but there is difference, where Eros is heavy and rounded, Trussardi is fresh, fruity – especially citrusy. At the end you can smell very similar citrusy and woody vibe like YSL L Homme Sport has. It is a bit average scent for me, but i can imagine that for some people, maybe young and/or sporty, it will be a good choice.

The new Trussardi “a way” disapointed me,the uomo 2011 version is a decent fragrance but nothing groundbreaking. Let’s hope that this one will manage to fulfill my expectations. The notes really seem very interesting. Trussardi is a legend in fashion and accesorise but we want a proof in perfumerie as well.
