Togliatti – :
I don’t get any of the ginger nor pepper notes. This is basically a sunny/citrus fragrance to me and unfortunately it is very weak and does not last on my skin at all, barely half an hour before fading into nothing.
Anyway, at first blast on my skin this smells a little bit like Clinique Happy——-if only for about 5 minutes, then fades into a timid shy whisper-when-she-talks distant-cousin of Arden’s Sunflowers (for me, anyway).
After half an hour I can’t really smell this on my skin at all, only if really straining to sniff. Spade’s team really played it very mild on the sillage and longevity with this “Truly” lineup. All of the scents are fairly inoffensive, office safe, and all are barely skin scents with poor longevity. They are all ‘nice enough’…..but honestly, they have the sillage and lasting power of body mists. As always, this might smell different on different skin and to different noses. *shrug*

Simple and uplifting. Thankfully, no vanilla was added to this zesty orange.
If you liked the idea of Twilly, but found it too convoluted, give this a try. Surprising longevity for a citrus fragrance.
After having been disappointed in her earlier launches, I’m looking forward to trying others in this “Truly” line. There seems to be something for just about every taste.

This scent is dry and fresh with a blast of orange peel. It does not become sweet, but remains fresh and clean. I would not say it has a masculine edge though, but I can certainly say that it’s not girly!

Christmas 2017: The Kate Spade TRULY collection mini perfume-set arrived at the same time I was welcoming a new friendship into my life. ‘TRULY Joyful’ captures that soaring elation in a bottle.
It’s a dry orange (as opposed to sticky sweet), similar to Arancia di Capri. And although it’s targeted to women, this clean refreshing scent will work equally as well on men. The treatment of Ginger is similar to the one in Annick Goutal’s Le Jasmin. All 4 perfumes in the TRULY collection are a delight.
I am most thankful to Fragrantica for bringing fragrance-minded people together, and cultivating new relationships. And a Big Thank You to Curlykitty8 for being my friend! I’ve learned *so* much about perfumes from you. The last year has been a crash course in perfumery, and so much of the newfound knowledge is thanks to you. Love the Kate Spade TRULY gift set! :o)

I absolutely love this, my new favorite ginger fragrance and the liveliest dance between ginger and orange (peel). But the longevity is quite poor.
