I recently purchased Avon’s True Life For Him as I was tired off using my more expensive colognes on a day to day basis I wanted something Light and cheap for my after Work activities and so ‘True Life For Him’ was that purpose purchase.
The notes sounded like it would be a very simple plain cologne. Orange, Pineapple, Cedar, Violet Leaf, and Musk.
On the day I received it, I was at work and I already had on “New West by Aramis”, I was curious to know what the fragrance will smell like so I opened it up and Put 2 sprays onto my inner Elbow, the initial blast was an alcoholic knock down, but within 10 seconds it dissipates and I get this waft that is extremely familiar and Nostalgic for a odd reason, and then a few seconds in it hits me Carolina Herrera 212 Men, and CH Men in one but toned down. I usually hate Non originality and would lash out and go all out critical, but I Love both 212 Men and CH men so I have just gotten a major soft spot for True Life For Him.
True Life is a Zingy, Grassy, Woody Musk fragrance with a hint of sugar (that’s where the CH Men comes in).
It lasts for about 3 to 4 hours Max with a soft to close to skin radiation, I frankly do not mind re-applying through the day. Avon has hit it well with this well priced cologne and I for sure as hell hope they don’t discontinue it ever as I found a new. Casual spring and summer weekend cologne that I like a Lot.
Heck it may be Avon but do not Judge Avon badly I’ve smelt a few of their fragrances which I think are absolutely Top notch (the only problem is the Longevity, but who cares when its so well priced???).
True Life For Him is 212 and CH men mixed and seeing as that I adore those, I am Liking This.
I call This The CH Men-212 Men Combo Eau Fraiche.
True Life For Him gets a 72 out of 100.
