Very similar to Roberto Cavalli Serpentine (which, like Trouble, was also created by Jacques Cavallier) but importantly lacking the overdose of nose-burning black pepper. The citrus is also a bit rounded off in this one compared to Serpentine, and for that reason I find it more sensual. I prefer the original Trouble, which in turn is more sensual than Eau Legere, but this version is certainly not bad.

Oh, where do I start with this!!! I have stopped writing as many reviews cause of lack of time but I had to make time for this. This is beautiful, sparkly but deep and sensual. It is a tease from a seductive beauty. Original trouble is something you smell even before you enter the room. And if you sprayed it in air, it stays in air for days. Which is fine if you love that cause I do too. But this is just the same scent without heaviness. I wear this without worrying about a thing or where I am going unlike original which I only save when I am outdoors at night which rarely happens since I work at night

I was lucky enough to get a 100ml new and sealed bottle of this beauty today and it didnt cost me an arm and leg. Mine says “Trouble eau legere 2006 limited edition, can be worn in the sun”.
What can i say? When i first opened it and smelled the nozzle i smelled a faint unimpressive flowery smell, which must be a trace of lotus or just nothing, because it was actually sealed and never used. So i was bit frustrated that i might bought it for all the wrong reasons. But when i made a first wrist test all my doubts were gone: this IS the one!! It smells just like a more citrusy and less vanillic version of those summer “Cinema” flankers by YSL. Needless to say i love them all. I like the original Trouble EDP as well, however to me it is bit too cloying. This version is just perfect for all reasons. I smell mainly bergamote and a hint of vanilla and amber. No need to write a poem, just smell this beauty and the words are needless. To me this smells very high end and stylish, without crossing line of cheap glamour.
Sillage is moderate and lasting power is up to 5 hrs. Im sold!

I just got this after regretting swapping away my 2 EDP a while back. This is WONDERFUL!!! As already stated it is a lighter more sparkly version of the original. But on my skin this way better. There was something in the original that kept me from really loving it. (Prob why it got swapped) it was lovely but a bit somber and formal. Not my style. But this eau legere is updated, fresher yet still formal but also sexy in not such an uptight way. I loved that as it evolved it seem to grow and all the notes just worked for me. All night I kept getting this sweet vanillic citrus waft pass my nose. Aahhh nice!!!

Like everyone said, a lighter citrus version of the original Trouble. But with the added citrus notes, the vanilla amber sandalwood base turns this into a tropical suntan lotion fragrance. Sexy, what I’d wear on a summer holiday to tropical Tahiti.

Oh, lovely Trouble Legere;I am thrilled testing it after a few months geting it as a decant. Of course it reminds to Trouble but is fresher in citrusy way- but still Trouble with amazing mixture of Amber and Vanilla.
After all, wearing both same time I realized I changed my mind: It’s only a shadow of orig, Trouble: it’s watered down version, onyl candies and citrusy notes are added. Nothing to compare a quality to original.

Yum! Smells just like Trouble, but lighter and more citrusy. The summer version of Trouble, if there ever was one. Even though I own the original, I have to say I kind of want this one too. Why? I have no idea. Just having one would probably suffice!
EDIT: I ended up getting a bottle (even though I own the EDP and like 5 bottles of Cinema- side note, although Trouble smells like Cinema, they are distinctly different, IMO) and I’m happy because I think it will be more wearable in the summer. Plus it’s really hard to come by the original Trouble and since this is so similar, I thought it would be nice as a “back up” of sorts since my Trouble has only maybe 25 mL left.

What is the difference from ‘legere’ (lower) and ‘edt’ ?

There is another version of this that is perfect for use in the SUN! That version has also a gold glitter trail! JUST GORGEOUS!

It really does smell like a lighter, brighter version of Trouble! I really prefer the brightness of this fragrance, but the longevity is about one hour on my skin.
The bergamot seemed to persist through the heart of the fragrance, which I found quite lovely in combination with the amber. It reminded me of my favorite part of the original Trouble — the lemony-floral top notes!
At the very end of the dry-down of Trouble Eau Legere, the vanilla emerged, but also also quickly became a little dusty on me. (This is a problem I sometimes have with vanilla notes.)
I will stick with Trouble, which is more demanding to wear, but has incredible lasting power for the days I am in the mood to wear it!

Does what it says on the tin: Trouble Light. One of the few legere versions to be true to its word.
If you like Trouble but find it too deep, dark & voluble then try this version.
It has an airiness (original devotees may say hollowness, perhaps due to the lotus) that gives you the space to breathe…the citrus lift heralds the entrance of the warm vanilla-amber, a thinner version than before but with the same candy appeal. There seems to be a race to the base notes, which is where TL sits happily, prettily, sweetly for some hours. Ah, sweet nothings.
When I compare them wrist-to-wrist the original wins hands (wrists) down for me. It is rich, daring, deep & unashamedly wicked – a bold beauty on a night out. A babe with balls. TL is like the soft, innocent trace of her left on the pillow when the make-up, attitude & drama-queen heels are removed. Underneath, the tigress is a kittenish pussycat.
12ASSA – :
Trouble eau Legere is Troubles baby sister. It skips right past Troubles strong citrus opening notes into a lighter version of the dry down. My first thought was “Trouble for Spring!”
If you put the two sisters together you would get the younger still in High School wearing pastel t’s, faded jeans, soft pink eyeshadow and flirting with the boys. The older sister graduated two years ago, prefers dramatic black liquid eyeliner, heavy mascara, dark burgundy and black attire with high heels and “men only please.”
My only problem is now I have to go buy Legere to go with my Trouble because it’s “just different enough” to make it worth while.
Rostislav66 – :
I like the EDP but I prefer the lighter version. Actually the bottle I own is “trouble eau legere nacree”, not listed here in fragrantica yet. It opens very lemony but it is still mysterious and elegant like the original one.
Arebmaluarm – :
I could not appreciate it. Though it is pleasant and nice, and I definitely can imagine someone lose it`s head over it, it has some artificial notes that are not becoming at all.May be it is only my skin chemistry (does not make nice with water lily sometimes).
HYBRID – :
this lovely perfume reminds me (heresy!) of what the great Guerlain’s Jardins de Bagatelle would smell like in one’s imagination! (And I love JdB!)
It is beautifully cool and floral fixed with vanilla and amber I believe. Perfect for daytime wear and everyday use. Not enough sillage for eveningwear.
Love this!
