Topanga Canyon, part of the Backpacker’s Cologne series, is an all-natural limited-edition, trail-foraged fragrance that takes us on a springtime hike through the coastal mountains of California, where we’ll find endless wildflower meadows, creek-carved mountain swimming holes, fragrant sage, wild lilac blossoms, sticky gooey springtime plants and rain-dampened Oak.
Topanga Canyon is Harvest # 2404-1 and will be available starting June 1, 2014, in four formats: Oil-Based Wilderness Perfume in a hand-numbered run of 312; Wilderness Cologne in a hand-numbered run of 304; Solid Wilderness Cologne in a hand-numbered run of 296 and Wilderness Beard and Face Oil in a hand-numbered run of 308.

I don’t know if anyone’s actually tried this and instead just disliked it based on the notes or whatever.
But I do own a bottle. It’s fresh, piney, but not floral. For something natural, it’s stuck on my arm for 24 hours which is impressive.
It’s one of those colognes you’d want to wear while camping so you’d smell good, but bugs wouldn’t be on you all the time. It’s very inoffensive and light, yet strong. It’s certainly unisex.
It’s not a creed or guerlain, but it’s pretty good. It’s a natural and they’re very different. It’s unique, woody and makes you smell like a tree.
