Late 90’s in a bottle. Great longevity. Amazing fresh yet sexy fragrance. I find it uplifting. Just got a new bottle and loving the nostalgia!

This is a 90s masterpiece for the youth. I remember smelling this bright and sunny scent on everyone. There weren’t tons of perfume choices back then. Probably why the ones that I owned seem special. It wasn’t so confusing to pick a few scents to match your mood. I will always love Tommy Girl in all its t-shirt and jeans glory. It’s perfectly carefree, then and now.

    The bottle:
It’s plain but the shape gives it character.
    Inside the bottle:
Fresh, floral and sporty. Thats what this perfume is.
When sprayed you get a strong blast of lemon and white florals with a hint of a rose. When dried it’s still strong but not overpowering and you can smell apple tree blossom and other citrus scents. Longevity is very good it last for a long time should last most of the day.
    Overall:
This perfume is a classic perfect for someone who loves the fresh, floral, sharp clean scents. It reminds me of girls playing soccer I don’t know why just soccer but it does…anyways great for someone who is starting to wear perfume and likes floral. I don’t recommend this one for someone who is sensitive to perfume it might be a little too strong. You can’t go wrong with this one it’s simple and youthful.

I enjoyed Tommy Girl quite a bit, despite the fact there are violets in it. I hate violets in perfumes, yet here I can’t really sense them, so it’s great! I get a straight pear scent at the first spray, which is not listed in the notes, but I totally feel it very strongly. Later as the scent develops, I feel the apple blossom and the honeysuckle, but no citrus. I don’t know why, but I just can’t sense it. Honestly, the eau de perfume is too overpowering for me, I choke as soon as I spray it on my neck. However, the longevity is mind blowing for such a summery scent, it lasts all day and when I wake up in the morning I can smell it on my pillow. I wouldn’t purchase again as it’s a bit too strong, but I enjoyed wearing it. Great for people who like fresh but sexy scents that leave a significant trail.

This is Calice Becker’s masterpiece. That’s saying a lot considering her work for Kilian and the dazzling Oscar de la Renta Luxuries line. But humble, often-imitated Tommy Girl is simply brilliant.
Becker drew her inspiration from the fragrances of tea shops, and while tea isn’t listed as a note, you can smell all the floral/fruit/herbal notes in the mix. Tommy Girl has depth and texture. It’s a cologne, but it lasts forever and has a lovely projection.
Of course, it’s everywhere and ridiculously inexpensive. Don’t let the price or mass-market appeal fool you into skipping past Tommy Girl. It truly is lovely.

Love this for the summer as it is fresh and crisp. It is a good, safe perfume. Didn’t think it was my type but gave it a chance and I must say I love it. It’s longevity is very good also.

As it’s been such a hot, humid summer, I’d wanted something fresh and lemony that didn’t smell like a cleaning product and was cheap enough that I could just wear it and not think about it. So, there I was in CVS with a bunch of coupons that were about to expire, and I decided to blind buy TOMMY GIRL. Although this one has been around since 1996, I’d somehow never tried it. (My cost came to about $6 for a 1-oz bottle, plus the store accepts returns, so this was a no-risk situation.)
TOMMY GIRL works well on hot days and I find that I’ve been wearing it frequently, even though it isn’t my usual sort of fragrance. For the first 10 or 15 minutes, I find this particular combination of mint and citrus (especially the grapefruit) to be a little too astringent, but it gets much better with dry-down. It becomes less bitter and a bit more floral, but remains nicely minty and citrusy. The grapefruit recedes and the lemon becomes more prominent. It stays nice for the rest of the progression and is refreshing in hot, humid weather. Interestingly, when I tried wearing it on a cooler evening, I didn’t care for it. Sillage is on the soft side and many sprays are fine, but overall longevity is pretty good. (Batch code A74 – manufactured in July, 2014)

First spray, I get white flowers, and roses. Nothing fruity or citrus. Then, it turns to this soapy after shower scent. I was thinking not bad. I kept sniffing my wrist during work but the scent faded fast, about less than 3 hours! Still I didn’t give up, kept on using it for 5 days straight (resprayed 2-3 times whole day) and on the 5th day, while I was outdoors for some activities, the sun was unbelievable hot that day and the perfume stays so good on my skin. What I can say is that this perfume is good for hot humid places, and the scent is quite dull if you’re in a cold place.

So clean and fresh that it hurts. In the beginning there’s punch of mint and lemon, you can hardly inhale. Over day I could detect apple blossom, rose and magnolia.
By the way, lasting power on me is excellent I could feel it all working day. I couldn’t ask for more, it’s lemony perfume.

I own a bottle of EDC from 2008 and another of EDT from 2017, upon comparing on skin, I can guarantee you that it’s not the same strength. The newest formula barely is a skin scent 1h in and after 3h, it’s almost completely gone. All that’s left is the faint soapy fresh ghost of what would usually last easily 8h, while emanating throughout the day. All that said, the fresh soapy “ghost” of modern TG is marvelous and smells especially great on a sunny day.

I recently purchased a 30ml of this and BAM! It’s 1998. I’ve been instantly transported back to my late teens and all the summers from my late teens through my early 20s. Total nostalgia trip. I’m not sure if I actually love this or if I’m just drowning in nostalgia at this point. But gosh, this fragrance just feels….good!
After all these years, what amazes me most is that this smells identical to how I remember it. With all the crazy reformulations that occur all the time, this has stayed exactly the same. Sweet floral, citrus, tea, expertly blended. I don’t pick up mint, but it’s certainly refreshing. Just on the very edge of cloying but something in there manages to keep it light. Ok, yeah. I do love it!
This is perfect for spring and summer. I’m so glad I’ve rediscovered this little gem!

If only there was an eau de parfum version of this, or at least of an identical scent. It smells so wonderfully fresh, but it doesn’t last long. What a pity.

This smell reminds me of summer and high school. It almost dissapeared from my memory, until I found it at the Greek duty free shop for 19 euros a few days ago. It was the last bottle at the time and I was thinking a lot, because I have a lot of perfumes in my collection, like, A LOT, but in the end, I decided to buy Tommy Girl. It’s like I am 16 again 🙂

After spraying: apple blossom + soapy water + honeysuckle
After half an hour: scent of a wet tea bag (soggy paper, tea).
    Depressing, gray, migraine inducing.
But I love Tommy Girl Summer 2004 – beautiful crown vetch soliflore (Securigera varia).

I just got this for summer, perfect pick me up scent when I want to feel fresh. It starts citrusy with a blast of zesty lemon so energizing for summer. Soon afterwards, I smell lily-of-the-valley- a freshly picked bouquet which is not listed in the pyramid, though. I also get a refreshing tea note, also not present among this fragrance’s notes. All in all, Tommy Girl is a good perfume for summer, fresh, zesty, clean and with decent performance.

A skilful dosage of honeysuckle (lots of honeysuckle), apple tree blossoms and citrusy roses. It never fails in my perfume wardrobe.
    My refuge.

I love this perfume! It reminds me of my teenage years! On me it smells like an Arnold Palmer (sweet tea and lemonade mixed together) and I think it is perfect for summer!

I was too late to obtain it as it wasn’t available in my local stores for a long time. Just on one trip 2 years ago I got it and since then I have it for summers. In winter it smells quite funny, I could describe it as black tea scent with artificial leather. But as soon as temperature rises to +20 the perfume blooms out apple blossom, rose, violet and grapefruit. Before buying I advise skin test because I have despised Tommy Girl for so long just because made impression from paper card test. For hot summer days this is irreplaceable. I have tried the iconic Cool Water, it’s another excellent option for summers, but Tommy Girl holds the crown and jewels. There’s feeling of more expensive perfume than you pay.

I used this daily back in the early 2000s.
It’s a fresh apple minty fragrance.
Refreshing like you’ve just got out of the shower, and brushed your teeth, and put on newly laundered clothing.
A sprite aroma for the warmer months.
I recall the longevity being very good.
Probably better suited for younger people, but I’d be willing to give it another go (now in my late 40’s) for casual weekend day wear.
A bargain to buy, and certainly pleasant to all who smell it.

Tommy Girl is really nice and I don’t care who hears me say that. I am not embarrassed to like this, even if Tommy Hilfiger is a dorky overrated brand in general. This is a very safe perfume, you really aren’t going to offend anyone with it. I like that the fizzy lemonade/ green tea accord is paired with country florals like honeysuckle and apple blossom. How ‘girl next door’ is that? There’s even a hint of clover or mint.. something that gives it that straight off the farm, aw shucks appeal.

Classic 90s fragrance. Fresh aquatic floral and strong. It has excellent sillage and projection. On me its a combination of citrus roses and jasmine, The dry down is woody and sweet. Its suitable in mainly spring summer and fall.

  22. :

I really love this scent. Tommy Girl has freshness, zest, and a sparkling sweetness that is very attractive to me. It also has a clean smell. I feel confident, young and electric when I wear it. That’s a pretty good bang for my buck, eh?

  23. :

Right off the bat I get mostly lily with a good mix of lemon, which reminds a little bit of Jessica McClintock but slightly more modern and fresher. I feel like it’s good for a day you don’t want anything heavy. If this were an eau de toilette and we’re any stronger I’d hate it, but as it is, it’s rather pleasant and pretty aromatherapy type of scent. They say lemon helps with stress and depression. I would agree. I also feel like this is highly underrated because of its marketing toward younger women. If this had a Diptyque label on it, it would be getting awards in my book. So far I’m enchanted. Simple yet completely refreshing and charming. One of my current favorites 🙂

Having never worn this 90’s classic in its heyday, I decided it wouldn’t be too risky to blind buy Tommy Girl for $20, since it would be relatively free of specific associations. When I first sprayed it felt VERY 90’s, and I wasn’t sure I could pull it off even though I’m fond of that era and its scents. However, as it dried down it won me over in spite of its slightly dated quality, and when I layered it with Jo Malone’s Nectarine Blossom & Honey, it became a thing of wonder… platonic ideal of the girl next door, like Taylor Swift when she only did country. Simpler times.

  25. :

Citrus grapefruit, lemon and mint makes it fresh.
It is only after a while that the flowers gently again … Camellia and apple blossom, makes this girlish fragrance. That’s what I associate.
Due to the poor durability and low perceptibility, it does not suit me at all, it is a safe choice.
To avoid even a little vial, I do not smell a rose even though they are composed. Maybe then they would take a little expression.

Great for scorching days, has a subtle but persistent sillage, lasts for 6/7 hours on my skin and days on clothes, an orange flowery perfume that is sweet enough to be perceptible but not enough to be overwhelming on extreme heat.

Nice, sweet, girly. However, I would not call it extraordinary.

This was my first ever fragrance that I purchased as a preteen.
I remember going to a family owned dollar store and finding a half used bottle of Tommy Girl and wanting it just to say I own a bottle of perfume.
It’s a very inoffensive, clean, fresh scent that anyone can wear.
The lasting power isn’t the best since it is a cologne, it disappears within an hour.
I think I was 11 years old when I first purchased this.
I lost it after a few years, now I’m 24 years old and my father who had no idea I ever owned this purchased it for me as a Christmas gift. I’m thrilled to have it in my collection again (:

  29. :

Another one of my favorites! A clean, light, citrusy scent that you can wear anytime, anyplace. Perfect to spritz on when you’re headed out the door and it’s got the right amount of pizzazz without being over-powering. I’ve been wearing this one and off for about 20 years (yikes, has it been that long??) since it first came out and it is timeless, a scent that will never get old.

  30. :

Like many others here, this was one of my very first fragrances, back in the late 90s. I loved it then, and somewhat suprisingly, I still love it now.
I agree with other reviewers that on the initial spray it can seem a little “chemically”, but within two minutes it becomes a beautiful, soft, feminine and light fragrance that is so easy and such a pleasure to wear.
It’s citrusy and light and just smells clean, kind of like a more floral apple shampoo smell. As there is no real muskiness, it stays very innocent and youthful, however, my partner likes the smell of this on me a lot more than conventionally “sexy” scents.
It lasts very well for a cologne formulation and it’s such a bargain too, so I would recommend anyone to go and pick up a bottle.

I got a 3.4oz of this fragrance a few months ago (from Fragrancenet) for super cheap (less than $17). I bought it after watching a youtube video of a perfume collection; I forget the handle of the youtuber but she praised it as her signature so much so that I decided I had to try it.
I do have to say that I have to agree with AnnabellLee, this perfume starts off super screechy and super chemically; very robust beginning. It’s almost off putting, BUT give it 10-15 minutes and you’ll start smelling this gorgeous fruity, citrus-y white floral! I really strongly smell the apple tree blossom and the mandarin orange and some other floral after the screechy, chemical opening. The smell moves rather quickly to the middle (less than 25 minutes). In the middle I smell a strong amalgamation of undeniable white florals mixed with lemon, mint, and grapefruit. It’s very hard to pick out the florals distinctly though. And last but not least, the dry down is so distinctive! I smell the woodsy notes, I smell something juicy and citrus-y, and I smell something clean almost soap like but in a good way; it’s gotta be the magnolia. It’s so comforting!
Overall, I’ve smelled this fragrance so much especially growing up in the 90’s/2000s. I never realized that what I was smelling was this though. Crazy. I love the way this smells more than I thought I would after the dry down though. To me this is a sporty, relaxed, every day scent for errands, staying home, or the gym. I say give it a test. You can get it at such a bargain that you can’t go wrong.

Wow i didnt realise how old this perfume was and how much my tastes have changed! Have still got a bottle from1997! Havent used alot of it but it still smells really strong. Not my taste anymore but im just amazed that it still hs strong sillage after all these year i can tell its a zesty floral scent.

I was really excited when I looked at its notes and when I tested it on the blotter. It smelled amazing! But on my skin it smells bad! Like stale water in a vase! Damp! I was so let down, I wasn’t expecting such a difference! I was so close to blind-buying this… It smells great, it just wouldn’t work on my skin.

Ah the rich kids got this when it came out back in High School. I only recently bought myself a bottle, having forgotten about it. What a classic scent! So many great scents were born in the 90’s! This is just so fresh, clean, girly, relaxed. It’s the perfect fragrance to wear with jeans, a t-shirt and hair in a ponytail – very classic, girl next door but uplifting! A truly happy and content scent. Great silage and longevity

It’s 1998 and my eldest daughter was 16. This was her smell. Teenage years. Fresh flowers but not too old lady flowery. Fresh clean.
This fragrance was huge in its day but the snobs thought with their wallet rather than being guided by their nose.
It’s now inexpensive enough so I bought a 200ml bottle for my collection because it truly deserves to be called “a classic”.

Apples and tea, light, fresh, perfect for daytime and hot weather. Doesn’t cost an arm and a leg but doesn’t smell cheap. I reach for this one frequently.

Oh the memories with this one! The first time I smelled Tommy Girl, I fell in love with it… I was 18, never really cared about perfumes, so that was my first real fragrance. At first sniff, all I could think about was fresh pears, maybe mangos… Now I know none of these notes are there, so that was the lemon and the white flowers. Very jovial scent, perfect floral-fruity!

  41. :

This is one of the best and classic casual scent. Very fresh, clean and classy at the same time. Eventhough this fragrance was made in 1996 but I think it has eternal modern kind of scent. And more than that you can find it in cheap price. 😀
Also has great sillage and longevity.

This is what I wear when I need to feel “fresh” immediately. Its one of my signature scents for years and I still love it to this day.
A very citrus fresh floral that’s perfect for summer. The citrus in here is not too sour in any way and blends so well with the floral. I also love the touch of green that smells almost like green tea. This is what I wished Elizabeth Arden Green tea smelled like.

  43. :

    4 out of 5

Tommy Girl is surprisingly tomboy-ish these days, where most scents aimed at young women feature gourmand notes or are at least incredibly sweet.
By this, I don’t mean that it smells masculine, but that this scent works well for playing sports or during the summer.
It is a surprisingly sharp scent initially before it dries down to a ‘meadow’ smell, grass and a touch of flowers.
The ‘sporty’ quality to this perfume means that it does smell very 90s-Tommy Girl is close to her sister Gap Grass and her friend CK One in concept. There is something of the grunge scene in Tommy Girl even though she is a pleasant thing.
Very nostalgic for me, and I will always have a bottle for summer.

  44. :

    5 out of 5

Straightforward floral fruity, quite sharp at initial spray, it’s a young scent and I would say very 90’s smelling. I think this is the type of fragrance that greatly depends on body chemistry, or otherwise I think it could smell sour or musty. But if you can pull this fragrance off, it smells like a clean happy girl with a happy day and happy smiles all the way.

  45. :

    3 out of 5

Tommy Girl only works for me in hot weather, in winter it has the habit of burning my nose and suffocating me for some reason. Alas, super sharp on cold weather, only a summer perfume.

  46. :

    4 out of 5

I was not at all expecting to like this–I tend to shy away from citruses, as so often they recall cleaning products. But this is surprisingly lovely; clean and fresh without a trace of harshness or bitterness. I imagine a young, snooty shopgirl working her first job at a luxury mall wearing this (in a good way). This is not unusual or intriguing enough for me to wear, but I’d love to use it on my linens…if only it didn’t make me sneeze!

  47. :

A refreshing tea perfume that lasts all day, fresh, amicable and easy to wear in hot summer, for men or women.
A girl/boy next door perfume, clean-cut and wholesome and a cheesy grin.

I’m not sure, ” I love this” described this best, BUT, its so esdu to wesr everyday!
    floral, but not too much

    Not sweet
    Just right.
Would buy it anytime because i know I’ll use up the whole bottle!

I was looking for a summer scent and was attracted to the display at Meijer. This was one of the options available to try before buying. So, I would spray some on at the start of a shopping trip and then move around the store and see how the perfume interacted with my chemistry.
Usually, I don’t purchase “designer” fragrances. I have never worn Tommy Hilfiger and wasn’t really into the Tommy image.
After trying it for three weeks (everytime I was in Meijer). I decided to get a bottle.
It’s a clean, fresh scent. It wears well as it ages on the skin and doesn’t offend. It makes a nice choice for summer. The image I get when wearing it is of a clean white t-shirt drying on a clothes line and waving in the breeze.

As a young teen me and my friends all used a cheap tommy girl dupe that was only about $15 from the local chemist.
So when i received this as a gift i was not too excited to smell that cheap scent of puberty.
    But!
I was wrong, this is fresh, crisp, so feminine and carefree. Not cheap smelling at all.
On the verge of being aquatic but too floral and fruity to go there.
I smell mostly fresh roses, lemon and apple tree blossom.
I use it now from time to time and even like scenting my bed sheets with it.
If you are looking for something fresh and carefree try this.

I fell in love with this scent, the first time I smelled it. So fresh and citrusy, with a beautiful tea-note. But after wearing it a couple of times, i am not that blown away anymore. First of all TG is strong (edt concentration). Apart from that TG contains a woody-base, which smells weird on my skin; somehow reminicent of sweat. My skin brings out the wood really strong in this one and i am not a fan. I would love TG if the topnotes stayed longer.

This is pretty unique among a wide sea of imitators. Tommy Girl opens like tea, pure, dried black tea, on my skin. After about an hour, the tea softens but never goes completely away but fades into the background as a soft but not sweet floral/lemon combo takes over. I didn’t like this when I tested it in winter but the heat does wonders for it. It’s on my want list now.
UPDATE: Went ahead andbought this. Loving the crisp citrus/tea combo. This is on my list to buy back up bottles for.
This lasts forever on me and is absolutely suitable for work. Really like this!

I don’t get much floral out of this scent, except maybe some honeysuckle. I do find it smells like iced tea, almost. There’s a candle from Bath and Body Works called tea & lemon that I think smells very similar to this. Very citrusy especially in the beginning. Every time I put this on, without fail, I sneeze. But I don’t think it’s harsh or too synthetic. I like this in the heat. It feels very fresh and clean. Not too feminine – this could probably be unisex, at least the way I smell it. I’m shocked people think it smells like rose. I think it is very refreshing. Good for work.

  54. :

    4 out of 5

The comments are very interesting. To me this perfume is the most natural rose I have ever smelled. It smells exactly like the roses on the garden that my aunt had. It is not the heavy rose that smells like the toilet fragnances, but the real thing. It has the same vibe as Ralph Lauren’s Romance when it comes to the rose. I am not sure if I can smell something else. Perhaps the honeysuckle and lemon, but rose covers everything. But in general it is such a nice and romantic sense for a spring or light summer day.
I believe that if someones is looking for a light rose sense he or she cannot go wrong with this one. Of course, everything depends on the skin but it is not that expensive anyway.

Green tea with lemon and a drop of milk, gently supported by a harmonious choir of florals.
Tommy Girl is simply a beautiful summer scent, refreshing and at the same time both uncomplicated and multifaceted.
Despite a large number of florals none of them takes precedence before the others. To my nose they compose a transparently interwoven floral background for the main tea and citrus chords.
A wonderful work at a very resonable price.

  56. :

surprisingly really really weak on my skin
I don’t know what happened but Tommy Girl only lasts on me for hour or 2 hours at most
the scent is nice , simple and clean
it’s opening with strong citrus, a bit sweet from flower quite like Avon Today Tomorrow Always Amour but Avon one lasts longer
I really disappointed by its longevity

  57. :

I absolutely love citrus scents so I really wanted to try this out. Sadly, I found Tommy Girl to be a scent lacking in depth or appeal. It does smell very clean which I guess is a merit in hot weather but not a fragrance I would ever purchase and wear.

Oh, this is lovely. I wanted to try it since I read the pean to this fragrance LT wrote in his review book, but I never got round to getting any as it’s not “my” kind of scent. I didn’t grow up with this or near so I don’t have memories here.
Now I tried it, it’s more my kind of scent than I thought it would be, because it’s basically a gently floral tea, and the tea is pronounced and dominates. It reminds me of Osmanthus fragrances (Different Company, Hermes) I tried tho it’s not the same, but same idea.
If I discount all the horrible imagery of American cheerleader-with-perfect-teeth and clean lifestyle girliness and generally the brand as a whole, and take the juice on its own merits, it becomes very agreeable indeed.

It’s clean and kind of bitter. Grapefruit and cedar notes are noticeable on my skin.

I already commented on this in 2012 (!), almost five years later I still always have a bottle in my collection and most likely always will. Tommy Girl along with SJP Lovely, 5th Avenue (and actually a lot more in my collection) is a fragrance that always fits the bill. A perfume one can rely on. It’s fresh and “pleasant” enough to wear in the office but has enough punch for nighttime. I always get compliments on it and today it’s not that much around anymore, which is a plus for me.
Love it or hate it but TG is a classic for women of all ages. A perfume that accompanies you. At least TG has been by my side for almost 15 years now. It’s citrusy, minty and flowery-fresh. At times we’re always on the hunt for something new and exiting. But there are these moments where we realize that we already have everything we need. 😉

Oh, how I remember this when this first came out. I was in my early 20’s and back then I was likely the target age for this. But I already had CK One, and to me, for some reason, I thought if I had one, I did not need the other. Plus back then I could really only afford one or the other.
Fast-forward some 20+ years. I smelled a tester of this in one of those big-box-stores. It still had a slight vibe as CK One, in that it is somewhat unisex, very clean and fresh and slightly edgy and modern. However, Tommy Girl for me is more feminine. Still the same fresh clean vibe, but softer, not as harsh, not as crisp. Tommy Girl is still crisp, on a scale of 1-10, Tommy Girl is about an 8, whereas CK One is about an 11. Tommy Girl to me is just a softer, more feminine, not as harshly crisp fragrance, but still very light, clean, and very fresh. Definitely a daytime fragrance, and great for Spring and Summer. I think this would also be nice on an occasional Summer evening.
Perhaps they softened the formula of this over the years, as to me, it is much more wearable now and not near as unisex as I remember. I remember this being much more like CK One back in the day, and it just seems softer and lighter than I remember. If you like unisex fragrances, clean and fresh scents, this one might be worth a test if/when the next time you pass by a tester of this. Wears lovely throughout the day, moderate sillage and decent longevity, about 6 to 8 hours; no turning into odd scents like I expected (but then again, this is the dead of Winter. If this changes into a crazy scent in the heat & humidity of Summer, I will update).
I knew a bottle had to come home with me. Definitely a ‘guilty pleasure fragrance’ for me and I do quite enjoy this and the nostalgia that I get from this. And yes I will happily wear this in the Spring and Summer (it is the dead of Winter here right now). In fact, I am even looking forward to it! So glad I ‘re-discovered’ this little old gem.

We’re having a heatwave here in Sydney, and I noticed a distinct lack of heat-friendly frags in my collection (to the mall!). 38 degree (Celsius) heat today had me reaching for this gorgeous Summer scent. I can detect some of the listed notes, but to me this truly evokes a scene of lemon sorbet under a blossoming frangipani tree in the sun. Sprayed liberally and often through the sweltering day, Tommy Girl is refreshing and fragrant and not the least bit cloying. I love it and will always have a bottle handy.

To me it smells like an aftershave for women or a deodorant. very faint and i get no leather at all.
If the jasmine and leather were stronger it could have been an interesting perfume, but the way it is it is just generic (and expensive).

The opening of Tommy Girl is a little strange to me. For me, on first application, it has almost no scent at all. I get a barely detectable chemical floral. After about an hour a scent finally manifests – it’s a generic “clean” scent with a cedar base for me (a hint of honeysuckle). It’s nice, but it’s not particularly interesting. I really wish I could pick up more of the citrus notes that everyone else raves about.
Longevity – I got about 7 hours out of it
    Sillage – soft
    Safe for work/school

I really like this one! So fresh and the lasting power is good too. But unfortunately I have lost my bottle after just one month of owning this little gem. Made me feel so upset as it has probably fallen out of my bag. We only had one month together, one sweet short month. Who knows what future holds, maybe one day we’ll be reunited again. I am keeping my hopes high for that!

Typical daytime fragrance. It’s gonna be my summer scent 2016/2017 (south america). I have more sophisticated summer fragrances in my wardrobe, but I think it’s a waist of money wear an expensive fragrance in hot weather because the perfume evaporates too fast. Tommy girl is just fine, non expensive, has some longevity even in warm weather and it’s good enough for me.

I’ve been thinking about getting this one for years now, every time I passed this at the perfume counter I had a whiff and a spritz, and much enjoyed it. It was just never on sale, and I was not prepared to pay full price for something I consider an everyday – albeit very nice – suitable-for-office type scent. But I just stumbled upon a bargain, and now I own it! Yay!
    I think this sce
