My next door neighbor and I adore Tiares. When I gave her my bottle years ago, it became her Signature. Then it sadly became discontinued.
We contacted Voluspa (June 2017) and they were kind in selling to us online. It’s great to stock up, but I’m sure quantities are limited on an out-of-production item.
When the sad day comes when there’s zero bottles left, take note that Olivine Atelier’s “Amongst the Waves” is a near dupe of Tiares.
Amongst the Waves has more generic white-floral (and not specific to Tiare flower), but the dry down’s a good match. [These comparisons are based on the Tiare rollerball and the Amongst the Waves Oil version.]

The review below mine is spot on, except its Tiare Flower not Gardenia, but this is a rich very gourmand deliciously tropical and lush scent, so I can see how it gives off a Gardenia-like vibe. Fans of Madonna’s Truth or Dare, Armani Code, and Sensuous Nude will really like this one. Its got the creaminess of Truth or Dare, the fresh coconut and delicious honey notes in Sensuous Nude or Versace Crystal Noir minus the pepper. It even has the milk note I really like in Tattoo Diesel.
Very rich, like a honey-soaked Pina Colada. I would definitely put this in the Gourmand category, as it is more sweet than floral. The tiare flower stops it from becoming cloying on me , and I love floral-gourmands anyway, so this smelling like a rich delicious frothy milkshake minus the calories…I am loving it. I haven’t really indulged my gourmand side in perfume’s recently so this definitely satisfies my sweet tooth (and without the calories!)
The silliage is soft but perfect for such a rich scent. It wafts in gentle waves a couple of inches from my wrists. A very “huggable scent”
Pros: I got a mini roll-on of this as part of a swap, and feel very lucky as I have looked online and cant seem to find this for sale anywhere (the swap was Canada based, so if anyone knows anything more about this scent do PM me. I am curious!) So for now I will savor my mini when I get sweet tropical ice cream shake cravings.
Cons: This smells so rich, foody and yummy I am now craving a Pina Colada and have to fight off the desire to go full zombie and eat my own arm XD
8.5/10
Edit: So according to Fragrantica’s page on Voluspa, this is a niche designer. Meaning I own my first mini NICHE! (small perfumista squee) I could never actually afford to buy anything niche yet (though I thought about saving up for a splurge on some really nice looking samples.) No wonder this smells so rich and natural, even for such a sweet scent. Its just a creamy dreamy joy and now that I realize I probably wont be able to find or afford any more of this anywhere, I really am going to try to use only sparingly (and probably sniff a lot from the bottle) *blush* This was exactly what I wanted Gold Sugar Aquolina to be. For fans looking for a cheaper and more available scent like this, I would recommend Sensuous Nude by Estee Lauder. Its a bit more spicy and floral, but shares a lot of the sweet notes that make this gem so much of a keeper.

Very tropical. Fresh, wet, alive, monoi-style gardenia with coconut. I love this. The roll-on perfume has a touch more coconut than the spray and the freesia is easier to detect in the spray. Both forms are strong on the lovely, creamy gardenia. So good I nearly cried when I first smelled the roll-on perfume.
