Description

“In a garden hidden by clouds, on the mythical Mount Kunlun, Xiwangmu’s peach tree is a cosmic ladder that connects heaven and earth. Once every 3000 years the peaches ripen, and a lavish banquet is held. Offered to deities and royalty alike, it is said that the mere scent of this divine fruit grants immortality. With simple elegance and subdued beauty, Tian Di invites this mystical communion with a ritual in fragrance. Earthy incense, rich green flowers, peach elixir and calming woods culminate to open the mind, purify the body and awaken the spirit.” – a note from the brand.

Tian Di was launched in 2017. The nose behind this fragrance is Olivier Gillotin.

Ginger, star anise, & candy incense peaches.
I have sniffed this blend before somewhere but i just can’t remember which one exactly!!
It has that tingling sweetness with the roughness of the star anise blended with powder sandalwood. Orris is there with bits of olibanum. It has also cardamom, cloves, and bits of nutmeg.
It’s quite beautiful but again, i have sniffed this blend before but i just can’t remember which it was!

I have it. And for me, it smells like a wooden chinese box, full of black tea. It’s very dry and mature.

Peachy sandalwood with a faint whisp of smoke. Mild and unobtrusive, something one could wear any time.

Another Frassai fragrance and I’m shaking my head over the note pyramid again. Peach? Ginger? I cannot identify a single one of the notes listed. Instead I’m getting a smooth, sweet (caramel but not super sweet maybe) balsamic fragrance with a kind of minty melon fresh thing going on.
I’m reminded of Coco Mad. Not because they smell the same but because they do something similar by pairing a plush expensive smelling oriental with a freshie aspect.
I’m in the drydown phase and I swear the mint is starting to take over.
It’s a well made, pretty fragrance and intriguing. Very odd. It’s like it’s subverting the expectations that come up with plush orientals and taking it in a different direction completely.
    Worth trying.
