Description

Collection Ti Amo is te first fragrance collection of Italian artist Hilde Soliani of Parma. The collection includes includes five fragrances, each for each letter:

Tulipano
Iris
Anemone
Margherita
Ortensia

According to her words, she wanted not only to compose a sentence by the names of flowers, but the choice of flowers was not random. Each of them carries special emotion or a dear memory. Tulipano reminds of her father’s voice and his warmth. Iris is a symbol of Italian elegance. Anemone is the scent of Parman theatre. Romantic Margherita is the scent of childhood. Ortensia is the kiss of her beloved grandmother.

Tulipano is created on contrasts. It starts with refreshing fruity wafts of bergamot, black currant, lime, peach, kiwi and passionfruit. the heart reveals white flowers bouquet: freesia, lily of the valley, and jasmine. the final notes include woods, oakmoss and musk.

Soft and clean, like you just stepped out of the shower. What a lovely scent and just what I have been looking for. Something less in your face than the Clean brand.

I agree about some shampoo feeling over here, but in a good way. The fragrance is very fruity, a little bit to a sour side. But it also floral and quite radiant, does not collapse into a sugary mess as many sweet fruity florals. It as a good sillage and lasting power. I would call it a spring-like care–free perfume.

Strong impression of girly shampoo, nothing interesting going on here. The market saturation of products like Fructis, Herbal Essences, and Bath & Body Works probably make it impossible to open with passionfruit and avoid this association. Later some soft flowers poke through the fruit and we move to a fine lady’s hairspray. Still boring but it’s an improvement. Certainly not my style. Really though, I am not going to like a fruity floral unless it has something unconventional going on and this does not.

One of the most well-blended, happy, quality fruity florals. It reminds me of a woman twirling around in a field of tulips, although it doesn’t really smell like tulips.
Il Tuo Tulipano smells almost like Herbal Essences shampoo and it causes me to nearly have the same experience of oh-ing and ah-ing like the ladies in ecstacy in the commercials.
I didn’t snatch up a bottle of this while it was readily available because it was so expensive and not unusual enough to warrant the price tag, so I guess I won’t be having this springlike beauty in my collection. Did they rename it Tulipano Red? I am confused.

If you can’t afford the $200 price tag of Tulipano Red, you can sample Fiorucci (the bottle of pink perfume with pink plastic angel wings), a teeny bopper perfume that, to my nose, is more than a little similar to Tulipano.

TULIPANO, from the Ti Amo collection of the house of Hilde Soliani, seems initially similar aesthetically to BVLGARI POUR FEMME. Rather feminine, I’d say, in agreement with other reviewers. However, in contrast to the Bvlgari sweet floral resinous perfume, as TULIPANO dries down, it becomes very fruity to my nose. By the end, I find myself thinking that this is really more of a fruity-floral than a floral perfume. I do not find this composition either woody or very musky at all.
Because TULIPANO is so fruity and sweet for most of its life, I doubt that many men would want to wear this creation, but I do recommend it to anyone who likes fruity-floral compositions, as this one is very natural smelling and likeable. I believe that I smell more passion fruit than peach or kiwi, but there is definitely a fruit-salad facet to this perfume, and it is far more dominant than the tiny floral bouquet which is eclipsed by the fruits, in the end.

I”m coming back to this three weeks later. It is truly a floral woody musk, but with a strong helping of fresh, clean citrus. This is a quirky little gem that deserves a big shout out. I”m normally not a floral citrus gal, but this was put together by a subtle hand and does not wear harsh. It’s not sweet so much as it is green, and it’s very light on its feet. I’m loving it!.
Yet it comes with a big ‘But’that I must warn you about. Tim Tiny. I just can’t get his high pitched soprano voice out of my head when I wear this.
    Oh, tiptoe from the garden
By the garden of the willow tree
And tiptoe through the tulips with me
Oi, what to do. I like the perfume more than I like the song, so tip toe it is.

    This is SO WONDERFUL!
It opens with bubbly gum sweetness and is extremely delicious, I can feel fruits and I can feel freshness of lime. Soon amazing flowers appear which are still extremely sweet, freesia for me is the most noticable. I actually love this very much and I’m surprised of how tasty and mouthwatering this is. It definetely goes to my list of fragrances I desire. If you like sweet perfumes and don’t mind “fruity”, but still search for something not generic and that actually has some quality – go for this. It’s expensive, but, imho, worth every penny. Gorgeous.

I like it a lot! Tulipano opens with delicate and comfortable sweet fruity notes, with adorable white flowers in the heart of this composition. Delightful and feminine, I would never describe it as unisex…This fragrance belongs to women skin:))) Base is warm and sensual, long lasting and delicious…My favorite one.

For me, it’s very feminine fragrance, I can’t imagine it on man. The fragrance is smooth floral with the fresh slightly sweet fruity opening, then I smell calm and pleasant floral notes. The scent becomes warm.
I think it’s a very comforting harmonious scent.

I won this perfume in the contest for the promotion of Soliani perfumes. The perfumes start very mild and powdery and later you get hints of citrus. When i sprayed it on my wrist the citrus is more apparant. The citrus smells very natural and pleasant. Recommended for a sunny day in spring or summer.
