Take original Theorema, remove most of the spice and flowers, tone down the vanilla, tone the oakmoss way, way down, ADD MUSK, emphasize the citrus, et voila! Esprit d’Ete!
Starts out with a familiar Juicy Fruit gum accord, but soon settles into a citrus-musk with just enough vanilla cream to keep it luscious.
If it were released today, it would do very well, IMO. It’s not challenging in any way, unlike original Theorema and its insistence on in-your-face spice and oakmoss (which I love!)

These theoremas are weird in a Shalimar way but without the complexity of Shalimar or the Guerlain koolaid I love. This one is light, does not last and is a blast of citrus and vanilla.

Help!!!! Does anyone here have a 100 ml size bottle TOP they want to sell? Maybe u used your bottle and were not thinking to keep it ? If so please email me I desperately need a small gold top for the bottle I bought that hasn’t come with one 🙁
By way I think this would be my signature sent if I could stick to one perfume , but I can’t so it gets used a lot it’s stunning and smells amazing and expensive hunni stuff!!!

Love love love this perfume. Found it in a large and well stocked perfumerie in Florence, Italy. Smells a lot like Rihanna – Rouge and Marc Jacobs – Decadence. They don’t make perfumes likes this anymore!

This is beautiful , truly stunning ,ive not been lucky enough to get my hands on the original theorema edp and blind bought this version ,I panicked when I read it was lemony I figured bathroom cleaner type Lemon but how wrong I was, its sexy sweet almost edible lemon just at first then calms into jasmine and pink pepper ,I’m not good with notes but they all shine and blend beautifully ! Yummi stuff !!!
I have read reviews that say it’s not long lasting , maybe it was reformulated as mines fairly old and I think fairly strong, but it’s soooo rich and blended perfectly this could easily be in my top 3 perfumes it’s just that good ! So since this Summer version d,ete I s amazing ,I wonder how different this is to the original ? Is the stronger theorema edp better even ?
10/10 for the sent
7/ 10 for projection
6/10 for screaming out that your wearing it !
GOT my mucky hands on the EDP and boy is it lovely I did a separate review, I found that this one is very similar but not quite as spicy more fizzy like champagne, very very similar tho, I live them both if I wasn’t such a perfume flirt I would stay with Fendi THEOREMA forever …….

This is a bright warm citrus creamy sour kind off candy on my skin.I expected this to be a bit more mature and special. slightly more spicy. but this is a summer gourmand almost. sweet lemon pie like somebody mentioned. and that is spot on in my opinion aswell.
Very one dimentional not much is happening during the time i wear it.
It shure is pretty and beautiful. but i hoped for a bit more depth and spicy warmth..
(It should be sayed that i initialy looked for the original because off its resamblense to Nina Ricci Belle de minuit. hoping to explore the same thrill.. I ended up so far with this version)
This is absolutly apropriet for summer times . as it has that sunny bright feal to it.
On my skin this lasts a long long time .
So i guess cemestry has alot to do with the lasting ability on this one aswell

My first encounter with a Theorema flanker is this Esprit ete version. I have to admit I really really like it.the opening burst tries to be fresh but never manages on me. Its a inital smell of fudge, maybe some little dry bergamot and, old school chalk !. It turnes very quickly into a fudge like soft smell, that reminds me of Si Lolita that I also am very fond of. This is more toned down, and I can only tell it must be the lesser notes in this one. I dont prefer one befor the other but maybe Si Lolita is more earthy, a tiny bit stronger and dryer, where esprit ete is smoother, sweeter but also softer. I swapped Si Lolita when found this, cause I think Si Lolita will be easier to find if I need it again.. The Jasmine is hard to detect, as it is more of a soft fudge, earth kind of smell. I could have wished it to be more dimensional, but its not at all on me. Very easy and pleasant to wear and I would say it suits among my top twenty, nice to grab, as for today when first snow sat on the ground when I woke up.
I know it supposed to be the summer version…yes –
but this yummy little fellow works all year round.

Very nice smell on opening, I detect lemon cheesecake with gingernut biscuit base, yes I know these are not listed as notes but that’s what I get. Unfortunately longevity is very poor and so is silage, otherwise I would buy it straight away. Pity as it is a very promising scent, perhaps it would work better layered????
david4708 – :
Wonderful smell, but the lovely fragrance disappears just after a few minutes. It’s a pity that it hasn’t got a longer staying power.
Bought this one as I could not find a bottle of the original Theorema.
алексей зотов – :
Vanilla and Grapefruit? Not sure why I get those main notes, but they make for a lovely combination here. It’s almost a vanilla incense washed in liquid citrus. Very sheer, light and pretty and definitely a spirit of summer.
butkor916 – :
stunning! this fragrance blew my mind when I was 14 and tried a friends mothers bottle. I had known only floral/aquatic perfumes then to smell this which is all light spice, creamy but clear and very delicious.
It reminds me of glittering gold, success, luxury and I only wear it occasionally but any season it can suit
сылва – :
Pretty, but not a patch on the original.
As a flanker goes, it’s a good one. It keeps true to elements of the original so as to be recognisable, yet fixes them up in a light, lemony, voile dress for summertime.
The interest for me is in the citrus-resin-oakmoss combo which creates a very harmonious & balanced scent: warm & light, yet rich, dry & earthy.
Sadly, its longevity & sillage is minimal – it progresses quickly towards its basenotes & leaves me with a soapy suede handbag note.
Great if you find Theorema just too much…but those who love the original may find Ete a little too “diet Theorema”.
hytnik – :
Very warm, very citrussy (more zesty, fresh tangerine rather than the candied fruit in Theorema), with some of the distinctive creaminess of Theorema but less sweet and less spicy.
It’s toned-down quality makes it less interesting than Theorema, but nice in its own right. Theorema is a striking, rich perfume that calls attention to itself, while Esprit in its drydown is a warm, creamy skin scent — truly “you but better.” It seems far more appealing on a chilly day than in the heat of summer. Maybe “spirit of summer” is meant to tell us what it evokes, not when to wear it!
Rhillonna – :
As someone who very much appreciates Fendi THEOREMA, I was delighted when awesomeness sent along an atomizer of THEOREMA ESPRIT D’ETE, which is an apt flanker to its namesake.
This composition, too, opens with citrus, but has pared down the original note list and also combined them in different proportions. The rich, resinousness benzoin and amber so central to THEOREMA serve here more as complements, to embellish the blooming jasmine.
Of course, the inevitable consequence of reducing the basenotes is lighter sillage and less longevity. But these features do make ESPRIT D’ETE wearable in hot weather, where THEOREMA arguably is not. I’d love to have a bottle of this for summertime. (-:

When my Theorema finished… I was so sad to wait for antoher beloved fragrance… Someday I’ill buy it again for a one more time…
DeVal – :
Another wonderful scent from Fendi! I wear this at least once a week.
wolf93 – :
Absolutely gorgous scent!! Not long lasting at all though. I wish it were a long lasting scent then I would ware it. Very lemmony smelling. Pretty and sweet but not lasting in the least.
