Description

Thierry Mugler presents Taste of Fragrance (Le Gout du Parfum) in autumn 2011, a project that unites the world of perfumes and the world of gourmet cuisine and taste. Four fragrances of the house (Angel, Alien, A * Men and Womanity) are enriched with a gourmand note or “taste enhancer.” Helene Darozze, one of the most famous French chefs, was asked to make recipes for Thierry Mugler treats. The recipes can be found at the official site.

A * Men (“Spicy instinct”) is an oriental woody structure that combines notes of patchouli, vanilla and coffee. This edition is spiced with red pepper. Available as 100 ml EDT.

Top notes: bergamot, lavender, coriander, mint.
Heart: patchouli, red pepper, cedar.
Base: coffee, styrax, tonka bean, vanilla, musk.

Very nice frag. One of the nicest from Thierry Mugler. Yes there is chili but its nice and for effect. And it works well. I do see this scent for more casual wear.

this is pure chili liquid, very strong. Just ignore the 10 mins after spray smelling like a chili flavored savored noodle. the dry down is amazing and this stays on skin for long time. performance is almost beast mode.

No one will ever say that you smell like peppers. If i hadn’t been told that this has pepper in it, I would have never guessed. The pepper comes off as a very sawdusty, spicey, transparent wood smell. Like a spicier, dustier, more transparent, and edible cedar. I also picked up on the vanilla big time before looking at the note breakdown. I love that vanilla is here because that note doesn’t seem to be very common in the A*Men line, but it should be. It goes so well with the coffee and patchouli DNA. This smells incredibly tasty, but it also doesn’t smell familiar. No one will say “you smell like coffee” or “you smell like caramel” or “you smell like maple syrup” or ” you smell like pumpkin spice.” Mugler seemingly created a brand new dessert that can only be smelled. Perfect for the colder months and it could easily be a signature during those times of the year. Screams “cold weather holiday”

    Sentence Summary:
Smells like your favourite coffee shop at Christmas time.
This is my favourite Amen. Don’t be put off by the Chilli note – it’s meant to be there, and it works. I mainly get coffee beans, spiced cake and caramel. It’s a warm, cosy scent, perfect for Winter and Autumn holidays and nights out. Along with Gucci Pour Homme 2, Jaipur Homme, and Eau des Baux, this is one of those ones I also like to chill in the house reading a book with. Excellent.

It’s a spicy chili pepper scent for sure. I don’t really pick up coffee or vanilla, though. There is some sweetness to it but its faint. This would work beautifully in cooler climates because of how warm it is. I find it enjoyable but more in a weird way than anything.
However since I live in a very hot area all year around generally, I feel as though unless I’m under a air conditioner 24/7, this scent would just not work well with high temperatures much- if anything it could be even overbearing if used excessively.
Basically, I feel that this would be gorgeous and even sensual during the winter or places that are generally cooler- than somewhere that goes under 60 once in a blue moon. I like it though- I just don’t i’ll think get a bottle or similar scents myself unless the cirumstances change.

This is my favorite Mugler of all time. Too bad it’s the least mentioned. Beast mode for sure and a bit hard to wear but that’s what makes it so interesting. It has a niche character to it although it’s quite linear. It used to be my Winter signature years ago as it cuts through the Chicago wind and cold temps easily. Very easy to overspray as this is a beast mode scent so a couple squirts is all that is needed.

This beautiful fragrance I use EXCLUSIVELY as a date scent. It’s warmth, it’s fresh-out-the-oven-spice-cake dry down. It works wonders with the ladies. Particularly when it’s cuddle time.
2 sprays on the neck, one on the chest is all you need.
Projection is good only in the first hour and it lasts about 4-6 hours. But if you’re on a date, that’s all you need. This can be worn fall-spring. A bit too warm for the hot weather even though it’s not heavy. But the scent itself is “warm”.
This is 2nd only to the original A*Men in my book. 9/10 and Backup Bottle Worthy

    Full UNISEX with cherries!

Guys this is going to sound weird but I get no coffee or vanilla. Some faint chili. Otherwise all I get is straight up tamarind chutney. Don’t get me wrong it’s awesome, but not what I was expecting…Still a definitely interesting fragrance and worth a sniff

A similar but spicier version of the reformulated A*Men (i.e., the one without the tar note). I enjoy this, but I can’t see wearing it on a daily basis. I get tonka bean layered over chili paste but very little coffee. This makes for a very spicy gourmand combination.

Ekipāža (The Crew) Dzintars is a similar but not so strong version of The Taste of Fragrance A*Men Thierry Mugler. Muck lighter but without so good performance as the A*Men.

Scent – coffee beans, chili paste & vanilla.
Season/Time of Day – I prefer to use this one in the warmer months, day or night.
    Projection – I didn’t get noticed, I didn’t get a compliment.
    Longevity – I get 8hrs consistently.

Pure Chili was retired to my off season shelf yesterday along with Pure Havane and Pure Leather. It reminds me of a really tasty sausage that I used to buy and cook for breakfast.
Of all the Angel Flankers, Taste of Fragrance or Pure Chili is to date my favorite. I really love the spicy chili in your face blast of spice that gives a clear contrast to the sweet and beautiful traditional dry down that all Angel Man flankers have.
Its a broken record talking about performance with Angel Man. All of them that I have tried have excellent quality, longevity, projection, sillage and lasting power. You do not need many sprays of this fragrance and when you put it on then you will be wearing it and noticing it when you go to bed and probably the next morning. You can almost say that it lasts until you shower it off. Pure Chili is no different and it lasts and lasts and lasts and can stand toe to toe with 99% of niche and parfum strength fragrances when it comes to quality and performance.
As for my usage this past year, it wasn’t much. I only pulled it a few times this season. And the reason is honestly price. I own probably a dozen bottles of Angel Man and its flankers and a good amount of similar fragrances. I have 4 from the Mugler line that I have opened and am working on. Of those, I clearly like the overall scent of Taste of Fragrance the best. And yet, I do not own a backup bottle of it and the only place that I know to get one is the Mugler website and its $90. There are a few that I do not own and now they have Pure Tonka as another new fragrance in the line. Mugler lists Taste of Fragrance as a limited edition and we all have seen favorite Mugler fragrances disappear from backstock. And of course there are many fragrances from other lines that cost less that $90 that I have on my buy list and would like to try that seem to make more sense than a backup bottle. I consider $20 an ounce my reference point for designer and at $30 it commands a steep 50% premium to what I like to pay.
Overall, I am going to grade this fragrance out at a 84 or a tick below a solid B. It gets perfect scores for performance. And it gets very high marks based on smell as it is my favorite of the Angel Man fragrances. Unfortunately, I have to dock it quite a bit for price and availability. It costs 3X more than Pure Leather and as a result, I own less of it and I treat is more of a niche special occasion scent rather than a daily wear fragrance. I bought my bottle as a tester but I was lucky. If this cost $40 or less like Pure Leather then I would insta buy a backup bottle, wear this 5X more than I do and it would creep into the territory of an A and it would be a favorite fragrance.
I’ve never had a compliment with taste of fragrance and this might be a result of lower wear frequency and it might be the strength of chili on top. I recognize that this is a gourmand fragrance and there are a lot more people that will respond to baked goods and cookies and the many sweet Angel Man fragrances over a spicy peppery chili. I marked my grade down a point because of lack of compliments but it is a small complaint when this is my current favorite of the line.
Angel Man is a very sweet fragrance and it is easy to find fault with cavity inducing fragrances. But what they do is to contrast the sweetness with distractions so that you get the sweet lovely foody dry down but different looks at the top. Traditional Angel Man has the famous tar note, and pure leather the harsh rawhide. Pure Malt has a boozy feel, and Pure Havane delves into notes of the cigar. But I think Pure Chili is the one that works the best. It takes the sweet but goes in an entirely different direction. I realize that many of the people who wear fragrances are elegant and refined and would consider themselves the top 2% that get talked about in the press. But I am a person that can appreciate a really good bowl of chili as well as a plate of Lobster Thermador and the spoon feels better in my hand than the seafood fork.
I own so much Mugler and so many flankers that sadly I almost have to try to find reasons to pull this one when I own an excess of juice regarding others that are also quite good and more available to find, buy, and wear. I really would like to move this to the front of my shelf but I do not want to run out of this one and it is too pricey for a backup bottle so I use it gently. And honestly, I am happy with Pure Leather and others in the line.
I love a good breakfast sausage but sadly I rarely have it anymore. It costs a fair bit and is harder to cook than just scrambling up some eggs. It is messy and sizzly and it leaves a sausage smell in the kitchen and the house which is nice for awhile but then you kind of want to smell something a bit more clean and fresh. But on those rare occasions that you have a taste for it, sausage is a treat on your plate.

These are only my first impressions. At first blast, very nice! Although not a gourmand, my first thought is how FOODY it is, although I don’t sense any “food” here, except the chili pepper, of course, but I don’t discern the coffee note, either (which is good because coffee sometimes makes me gag, especially in Polo Black and Double Black). UPDATE: Definitely a “new” favorite. I only wish that awesome chili pepper opening would last longer.

Got a sample of this (along with Pure Coffee) after deciding I wanted to get myself some more Mugler. My initial thought with this is that it smelled, in my opinion, papery. That’s not a typo. I thought it smelled like paper. Not a newspaper or a comic book or an old library book, just plain white paper. I guess it does smell a little peppery, my nose just thinks of it more as paper. Under that there’s the usual sweetness of A*Men fragrances … a coffee/caramel sort of vibe. This is a really nice smelling cologne, though not one that smells hugely different from Pure Coffee, in my eyes, which I think is essentially a mellower, vanilla infused A*Men. I’m considering buying it, but my mind isn’t blown. 4/5

    Sweet spicy coffee.
    Like chili sweet coffee.
Formal yet playful. Maybe sexy is the right description.
It’s still within the range of A*Men; sweet gourmand.
It, amazingly, smells very similar to Burberry London at the drydown, except for the coffee.
If you are a fan of the original A*Men, you’ll probably like this.
It is also on of the finer coffee fragrance.

I ordered a vintage Angel for Men original, but the seller made a mistake and I got this one instead. Naturally, I opened the sealed box and tried it on before I return it! D-uhh!
Now, I’m wondering why this wasn’t called A*Men Pure Pepper. It’s Angel with a linear pepper from sunup till sundown and very good longevity. It’s the least sweet of all the A*Mens and reminds me of Thai iced coffee infused with chili, mint and basil leaves that street vendors sell in Bangkok but without the coconut milk. I would like to keep it if I could but the original is what I really wanted.
Update: Oh, man. This is nuts. Now I think I’m imagining coconuts in this stuff. LOL!

I perhaps eought pure malt (blindly ) and love it! However, I just received my taste of fragrance (also blindly ), I sprayed some about 30 minutes ago, and am smelling a tobacco smell?, reminds me of Michael Kors? now I know there is no tobacco in this so I am really confused here..

I really do dislike the first 20 minutes… very spicy, disturbing and distracting. It has this rough unpleasant texture that you can feel at the back of your throat. But the dry down is beautiful! I agree to the “jelly” remark from a reviewer below, but thats not a bad thing. Anyway I tend to wear this one the least from the line because I can’t stand the opening but ignoring the opening I think its a beautiful fragrance.
To put in line from most to least fav from the like I put the original, Havane, Malt, Leather, BMen, Wood, TOF then Shot.
Edit: This one grows on ya! Yes it does!

  30. :

    5 out of 5

I guess to beat a dead horse here like many others say, take away that awful tar note in the original and replace that with a spicy sorta chili pepper kick. And thats a taste of fragrance. The coffee is uped here a bit as well. But theres a lot of that same A*men dna going on thats in most of the flankers. For what its worth during the dry down even though I say this has more of a coffee vibe then other flankers, this actually reminds me the most of pure havanes dry down. But with that pepper, spicy bit still lingering slightly.
That being said I like the dry down as I do most A*mens.. However there is one problem this has for me. Its not that is has chili pepper or is spicy. Its that there is a pasty sorta jelly after effect everytime I get a wiff in this. It dries down but… *shiver* I dunno, it almost kinda grosses me out a bit. Like a chili pepper paste? Chili pepper jelly? I dunno. Something at the edge of every wiff, I get. And it honestly grosses me out a bit. And dont misunderstand I love hot and spicy food. But there is something off about this to me.
Anyway ok smell at the top, and nice smell at the bottom like most amens but not for me.

    Where is coffee?
Too much chilli during the first 5 mins. Awful opening makes me sneeze.
but once it settles, I did enjoy it.
    I’ll give it 4/5

I finally got to try this. Anyone else out there smell Fahrenheit Absolute here? I do sense small differences like a little coffee added to the mix, but find them disappointingly similar as I had built this one up in my mind for a while now.
update. After another chance I really do sense a pretty decent difference from F. ABS. Anyway, potent and warm. Not sure how anyone could dislike this, but far from my favorite out there.

  33. :

My second favorite Thierry Mugler fragrance. Pure havane still my favorite. But this is a delicious coffee, vanilla, pepper fragrance and gets compliments all the time. Underrated for sure.

  34. :

    My storyline for this one:
You walk into someone’s home around the holidays, there is a spicy cinnamon broom in the corner next to the door. You smell the aroma of molasses & allspice across the house, in the kitchen.
You walk to the kitchen, the cake is in the oven, but the shavings of fresh ginger are still on the cutting board.
Later on, the cake is ready, its still warm, you eat the cake while a cappuccino is brewing in the background.
The dishes the pieces cake were served on remain on the table, and you enjoy the aroma of the cappuccino wafting in front of you, while you warm your hands on the cup and enjoy the company around you.
Very well done, outside the box gourmand.
    Warm, inviting, interesting.

I went back and forth on ToF for awhile, but I’ve decided it’s not for me. I don’t think the pepper note is very appealing and it reminds me of a plastic-like smell. Apparently, I have an unpopular opinion, but I say skip this one. Since the original, PM, & PH are all available, why would I bother with ToF?

  36. :

    5 out of 5

About a year ago, I bought a tester of this cologne. Now…I don’t know if the theory that testers are more “concentrated” is true or not, but I am starting to believe it, since this one, lasts longer on me than Amen, PH and PM. All others been standard ones.
This one is very spicy at the top, sweet spicy food…as the name implies. Then it dries down more similar to PH than the others, but there still spiciness there.
PH is my favorite, but this one is a close second, with PM next (extremely over hyped in my opinion), and Amen takes the last place (that opening is way too much).

This one, as my other A*men flankers, was also a blind-buy. It is a very rare one, i had a hard time finding this. So, when i first sprayed it on my wrist, i was a bit dissapointed, i didn’t like the blast of pepper and ground coffee. It was intoxicating. But, after like 10 minutes, that spicy feeling is a bit mild, at this moment, first thing that came to mind was “hm…Pure Havane”. Yes, it has that cherry vibe from Pure Havane. Only this one, is like a sour cherry with pink pepper and coffee. After 30-45 minutes the fragrances becomes very pleasant. At this moment i get a nice vanilla cappucino smell with a touch of that sour cherry. After a short period of time, comes the sad part: the projection drops dramatically, but not at that level that you have to stick your nose on the wrist to get a whiff. Let’s say, if someone will be very close to you, or hug you, it’s there. But it doesn’t have a scent trail. I was expecting a better performance considering that it is after all, a Mugler fragrance. Overall, it was a good blind-buy, not as succesful as Pure Malt and Pure Havane, but i like it. After 3 wearings, i will give this one a rating of 7/10 (i could give a higher rate if the projection was better). So is it worth buying this? Well, if you are a Mugler fan and a collector of the A*Men flankers, you should get it.

I love AMen PM and PH, but this I cannot stand. The spicy opening is way too much for me and just burns my nose. Many people say it lasts a few seconds, but on me it lasts for a few hours. After the pepper smell goes away it smells great and it lasts forever like all TM stuff, but it’s not worth the wait for me. Immediately ordered another bottle of PM and 3 more of PH, I’ll stick with those.

  41. :

Weird and weird and weird, first smell is strong spice, but transforms to the base of Amen with spice/chili. I don’t feel any chocolate or coffee, rather burned sugar, caramel with spice, maybe. The tar note is missing therefore more wearable than regular Amen, but this weird spicy note disturbs me. I feel that I know this scent already from the past. Temporarily I don’t like too much, but I try it yet.
update: I have 5ml little sprayer from this fragrance and I smell spicy Blue sugar in the sprayer cap, more weird…
Longevity and sillage is not as good as Amen, just 3-4 hours on dry skin with moderate projection.
update: I don’t know what happened but I started to like this spicy juice:)

  42. :

Bear in mind that I’ve never been a huge fan of A*man. I found it appollingly, overwhelmingly, unbearably sweet and tiring. Honestly I couldn’t live with it, period. This was, it thought, even worse, because it smells like cheap cherry-chocolate liquor, and despite that- it is much better than the original. A bit spicy too, I could easily imagine real people wearing this, unlike the A*men;) Still- If You want not overhyped, uberclassy fougere scent- L’instant pour Homme is the best You can get in my most honest opinion.

  43. :

    4 out of 5

I’m a girl and I find this fragrance overwhelmingly delicious. I wear it on myself. Hauntingly good. Red chili pepper rings in the opening, but only for a few seconds, then fades demurely into the backdrop of honeyed chocolate. Wish there was more coffee and caramel.

  44. :

    3 out of 5

    This is pepper done right.
Soft crushed pepper mixed with sugary chocolate notes. I know it isn’t listed, but maybe I am confusing it with coffee. At any rate, I do like how the notes compliment each other.
It is still a good fragrance for winter. It’s a great dating fragrance in all honesty. Its spicy with chocolate (like the kind of powdered chocolate in hot chocolate packets)
    Versatililty: 6/10 (dating scene only)
Projection: 7/10 (Closer to the skin, but not just on the skin)
    Longevity: 8/10 (8 hours)
    Compliments: 9/10
Scent: 9/10 (Would have been a 10, if the coffee note was better)
    Overall: 8/10
If you like Thierry Mugler and want to try something with pepper, you will not be disappointed.

  45. :

If you are a fan of spicy frangrances then this is for you. A blend of red pepper and spices with notes of coddee, chocolate, gingerbread cookie is what I get, but not too heavy and lite enough to wear in warmer wheather. I was gonna buy spicebomb but what I get out of this is a much better composition in my opinion.

  46. :

    5 out of 5

Oh no, this is NOTHING like Pure Havane, Not even similar! It’s a totally different fragrance 🙂

  47. :

    5 out of 5

One of the sexist fragrances from the Thierry Mugler line. At first spray i get a blast of liquorice that settles in the dry down with a woody coffee smell in my opinion.

  48. :

    4 out of 5

I like it so far, but it’s very similar to Pure Havane, at least from the first spray right out of the bottle. It is however, a bit fruitier than PH, it’s as if PH and 212 VIP Men had a lovechild. The drydown is as expected from an A*Men flanker.
All in all, I still need to wear it more, it’s out of season since it’s still hot out, but I’m content with it. I just wish it was a bit more different than the other flankers, maybe a bit more on the spice or the sweetness, or the coffee, or all of the above.

  49. :

    3 out of 5

When I sniffed this I caught the coffee right away. It kind of reminded of Pure Havane. This was spicy, sweet, powdery, and also got some chocolate from this. Some liquor in there my nose smelled. I liked it. Too bad it didn’t last much on my skin. Try it.

  50. :

Very strange the mix of pink pepper + coffe… and there is IMO a very evident note not listed: FENNEL… this is a cologne for cold whether solely… for those who likes to try different things…

  53. :

Great spicy fragrance. Very unique and probably not something that’s going to be a daily wearer. This is something of a festive fragrance and is perfect for nights out or for occasions when you want to stand out from the crowd. One of Thierry Mugler’s best and very under rated.

  54. :

    5 out of 5

A Taste of Fragrance is a unique gourmand that reminds me of a hot spicy aroma that sticks to the clothes after dining in a South Asian cuisine. There’s a very brief cherry opening that lasts for about a couple of minutes then the coffee and strong spices rise. ToF is a long-lasting fragrance, veiled by spices, and it dries down to a scent that reminds me of Pure Malt.
While I understand that A Taste of Fragrance has an appeal to people who want to stand out, it is just not my style. It’s something I wouldn’t wear for myself or around others. A solid release from Mugler, nonetheless.

  55. :

    5 out of 5

I am very glad I purchased this! Besides A*Men original this is my favorite cologne by TM. the Chili in this is very stimulating and pleasing.

  56. :

    3 out of 5

I don’t know why, but each time I wear it I have a feeling it has more in common with Burberry London than wih classic Thierry Mugler’s A*Men…
The opening is very spicy. I really can feel the chili, however it’s not listed in the notes… Then, after about 2 hours(during that time the fragrance is very dry and spicy on my skin)it’s getting a lot warmer and sweeter. The chololate comes in. A lot of chocolate. It mixes with the chili, smells incredibly beautiful. It reminds me of Burberry London, but only just a little bit. At the end I get a hint of coffee added.
That’s the second A*Men’s flanker that I know. And I have to say that it’s far better than Pure Shot, although it’s completely different from PS.
Longevity is only a little bit smaller than A*Men’s – about 8 hours. Sillage and projection are comparable to its “father”.
I have to admit that I love it. And I regret it’s only a limited edition 🙁

    Chic, sophisticated fragrance
chili, chocolate and vanilla create a wonderful effect
I like the from first puff
this is not just a state of spirits, decor expensive bar saturated with expensive drinks and tobacco
    Mugler is a magician!

Wow – talk about a complex scent… I’ve been wearing this for a week now and it’s been different each time. The first time I wore it, all I could think of was chili paste and dark chocolate – sensual, seductive and truly gourmand. The second time I wore it, it smelled like chili paste and pure malt. The third time I wore it, it reminded me of the waxy-sweet-pink pepper top notes of Spicebomb, and today, it smells like a delicious cup of mocha cappucino. The weird thing is, the people who’ve complimented me over the past week have described this scent in so many different ways e.g. my lab partner told me I smelled like starbucks, whereas another one of my friends said I smelled spicy and manly (but not like chocolate or coffee).
With that being said, I think this A*men flanker is my favorite right now (can’t/won’t stop sniffing myself) and I can’t see myself getting bored with it like I did with Pure Malt… 9/10

A beautiful combination of pepper, coffee with the touch of Mugler pattern, the patchouli sweet, not gourmand as well, here the pepper is the role gourmandish that has the feel of like Chilli, original, unique and delicious, fabulous!

I decided to take this perfume as my fragrance for reveillon/New year’s eve what you prefer.
Before I sprayed it, I took a shower and used some chocolate and almond body lotion. After I sprayed it, it became a mix of chocolate and coffee (cappuccino) and I made wonders.
I never got so many compliments on how good I smelled. So here’s a piece of advice, try finding a good chocolate lotion (mine is from Marionnaud)and try spraying this little guy after.
    Happy 2013 everyone 🙂

This smells like a spicy sugar cookie. Not my favorite, but not bad.

This fragrance is just amazing. I love the spicy notes in the opening and the amen dry down. But a word of caution……. easy on the trigger with this bad boy. You can easily over spray this one with 3 sprays. I would say one on each side of the neck and you’re good to go.

One of the best of the House of Mugler.
The opening is just espectacular, once you spray you can fell the warm of the spices coming to the edge of your skin (If you tell me, this should be the opening for Viktor & Rolf’s Spicebomb)
After a couple of hours you can really smell the coffe notes which makes this perfume a favourite for the could weather.
Give a round of applause for this little guy

The original A Men is my favorite fragrance but this one is also great. Amazing Fall/Winter scent.

New harleem, Michael Jordan Legend, Rochas man, pure coffee play intense and others are compared to each other as what is the best coffee out their but this is never mention and it should be though these all have a different scent. This one so far feels like a hot latte and the warmest of the coffee frags I’ve tried.

This has been really overlooked, after trying all the Thierry mugler line this is easily the most wearable and pleasant.
Yes it does have a blast of pepper paste but it goes and this turns into the best semi-sweet, cherry, chocolate, coffee, touch of licourice, smell ever.
Its the only one people have really complimented on at work and i think has drawn people in to smell more after a whiff.
Pure malt does its thing but if people don’t know about it they really don’t think much about it.
This has now been totally discontinued and the last few are selling through.
It’ll be a gem in a few years to come.

It doesn’t smell like the original A*men at all, ToF lacks the very essential caramel note, but instead there is a lot more coffee. This one, however, is much spicier and charged with a better longevity and sillage compared to the original. I think the opening is a little foody due the pepper; I can almost taste it!! The original A*men is much more smoother than this, it smells more balanced; ToF is just an explosion of spices mixed with vanilla (This fragrance should had been Spicebomb by Viktor & Rolf). Also during the last hours ToF gets reaaaaally soapy and it really irritates me. Musk simply doesn’t fit in the composition.
I’ve got a lot of compliments with this one, one girl said once that I smells like cloves and christmas.
    Sillage 10/10
    Longevity 9/10
Smell 8/10 (I prefer the original)

I do agree to those who say this is similar to B*Men, but I think the connection to A*Men is stronger. I’m not a fan of B*Men, I found it rank, but I do feel like THIS is what B*Men SHOULD have been.
TM’s TOF is just such an amazing fragrance, It’s easily one of my top 5 fragrances of all time. I regularly reach for this for nights out, whilst reaching for Pure Havane for the day. I keep pure malt on reserve for those days I want to change.

I agree with ArkangeL, this is much closer to B*Men than A*Men. Either way it is delicious.

If I had to describe this perfume in one word it would be “delicious”.
It really lives up to the name “Taste of Fragrance” sometimes I can almost taste the pepper, it’s really good.
At first the pepper note is really loud, but in the drydown it dimin
