Great gym fragrance or out of the shower spray. Smells fresh and citrusy but has no performance power or longevity. Other than that, it’s a solid cheap fragrance you can go crazy with the trigger. Great for warm weather.

TH Bold reminds me of Banana Republic Classic.

Hmmm. I was always a fan of the ‘original’ TH EDT, but this has barely anything in common with it at all, so much so that it’s actually quite difficult to refer to it as a ‘flanker’.
I neither love nor hate this one if I’m honest. It basically has a very linear smell of mandarin / tangerine and very little else .. I’m not quite sure how we’re supposed to distinguish the long list of additional notes from the ‘orangey’ aroma which is there from the off, is very strong initially, then very quickly dies down to a lesser orangey smell !
I guess once again it’s a great ‘out of the shower’ or quick freshen up fragrance (assuming you love the smell of tangerines) .. but as an actual statement or recreational fragrance, it simply doesn’t have enough staying power for either purpose !
In summary I’d say ‘not bad’.

This is a generic and boring citrus based scent with low-moderate performance overall. Super market quality.

Nice smell but not stay long maybe due to spray quality. spray pour little amout of scent so try it twice in one point, believe me. Smell nice and bitter in a way i have not ever feeled it so far. Good for indoor usage!

wow piss poor performance and utterly unispired smell. makes you feel about as original as tshirts and jeans. tshirts and jeans at least are cool. this one sucks. very avrage run of the mill, and completely gone in 20mins

Thoroughly average citrus cologne. Smells nice, but not particularly unique. I wish it lasted longer. Maybe a 6/10?

Tommy Hilfiger BOLD is a gorgeous citrus fragrance that has spice, warmth, and depth; all of the notes are beautifully blended. The spiciness to BOLD is present throughout the scent’s life.
Sorry, gentlemen, but this one is mine! I love it, I think BOLD is completely unisex. The mandarin orange here is concurrently sparkling, bright, deep, and creamy; the combination of notes in this particular creation is, overall, flawless.
This is a cologne and behaves as such; for increased longevity, I make sure to get my clothing in application and that does seem to help.
The spiciness of BOLD gives depth to the citrus body and makes it a brilliant “segue into Fall” fragrance.
    Scent: 9/10
    Longevity: 5/10 (it’s a cologne, not a parfum extrait)
    Sillage: 5/10 (moderate to soft)
I found that this layers beautifully with Al-Rehab BALKIS.

Pleasant citrus scent with prominent orange notes but plagued by poor sillage and longevity.

This is an average EDT. It gives you a nice out of the shower smell. That’s about it. Nothing about it separates it from any other EDT. Very safe scent. Certainly its not BOLD!!! If you are hanging around the house the scent is fine. If you are out and about this wont make any statement at all!!

Tommy Hilfiger TH Bold is a bit of an interesting scent, but at the same time common. It is a floral and mixed citrus modern-day version of a barbershop scent. It opens with a synthetic tangerine. I say synthetic since it does not have the typical metallic bite tangerine can have. The scent then goes into for me a very lavender heavy territory with some powdery white florals with jasmine. As it goes into its base, I get vetiver. Yep, that’s barbershop for you…
TH Bold is one I don’t always pull out of my medicine cabinet it gives me two reactions: 1, why don’t I put this on more often? or 2, this smells like others I have got. TH Bold has this Jekyll/Hyde nature with me to being one that smells good but one that isn’t super unique. It is kind of like combining Sean John Unforgivable’s open (due to the tangerine heavy citrus open) with rue21 Carbon Element’s mid/base (minus the nutmeg.) Sadly I get more performance of the latter for the price of the former.
Overall I think Tommy Hilfiger TH Bold is a nice scent but maybe not a must-buy. I got it on a clearance at $6USD for a 30 ml bottle. I don’t think I’d replace it at all. I find it is nice but other fragrances does what it does and better. For this I rate TH Bold 6.8 out 10.

nice smell: orange peel at the begining. Well, end of the story ’cause there’s no more than 20 minutes of fragrance. Dissapointment.

This I tested with my fiancee and the tangerine top note is really spot on. She came with “I smell mexerica”, and that’s a very caracteristic top note, and at least to my nose a natural one. I get some soapy feeling too, which goes on until the whole scent becomes very skin scent, about two hours later. Fresh, citrus, it never strikes me as a “sweet scent”, and it’s not properly “bold”. Only in the beggining is a little strong, but that soon dissipates. This is ok, considering the last Tommy scents I know, from the strongest (Freedom), to the mild ones (Freedom Sport and the insipid Brights).

This should be change to unisex frag..!!
    —————————————————–

A lovely, strong orange opening that dies down and disappears quickly. I reviewed this on YouTube and found that it hardly lasts on me at all. I even sprayed a good 8 sprays in my car while I nipped into the supermarket, and 15 minutes later when I came back there was barely any trace of the scent in my car!
The orange goes away quickly and becomes very woody feeling. I wish the orange stayed around, it smells pretty boring when it’s gone. Calling this “Bold” is a joke, “Scarce” would have been more apt. Doesn’t project nor does it last – I sold mine.
    Scent: 4.5/10
    Projection: 110
    Longevity: 1/10

Turbo tangerine is how I’d describe this one. Synthetic in every way but differing from the likes of Clinique happy in that this is a wholly more powdered affair and has a orange blossom/neroli core when it settles. This seems to be popular in men’s fragrance at the moment so if you dig that vibe then this could be a cheap addition to your wardrobe, sadly I don’t really. It’s not bad though.

Wearing this today it’s reminded me of Armani Code Sport (in my opinion) as first sprayed, but bits sweeter than Code Sport. As I live in tropical country it’s nice for hot climate. The only disappointing thing was longevity doesn’t last long.

I’m quite surprised by this, been a long time since I’ve picked up a Tommy fragrance, but this one is rather good, very smooth and citrus, nice for Summer days, longevity is an issue, but it’s definitely worth having.

I’m new to fragrance, always was having Hugo boss as my daily fragrance, then I went with my wife to Tommy Hilfiger and I test the Tommy Boy and the Bold, I was actually so amazed with Tommy Boy, my wife too, then when I went home and the fragrance dried down, my wife told me that Bold is much better, I searched and get it from Macy’s on a great discount with Tommy bag as a gift, now after wearing multiple times, I like it so far it is citrus which I like, but it is better for summer not winter, the longevity is questionable didn’t get more than 3-4 hours on cloth, much less on skin, last week I went to the outlet and tried Tommy Boy again and that’s it , I ordered it cause it is much better, much better performance still on my skin after 24 hours.
Edit: after having both for about 2 or 3 weeks, Tommy boy performance differ from the sample I sniffed before I buy it, actually I think it is lighter than Bold, now the Bold is growing on me and I start to like it more, But be aware I’m in love with citrus fresh Fragrance so if that your goal it won’t disappoint you.

At first sniff, on a testing card, I got an initial scent that smelled alot like skittles to me. Vauguely citrusy and sharply sweet. Not necessarily my favorite smell but it seemed unique/original and smelled better than that description sounds. However, when I actually sprayed some on my neck/chest and wore it around the mall, the nature of the scent changed entirely from a candy/sweet/citrus-burst sort of fragrance to an almost completely green/herbal/woody profile. I mean, reallllly herby. Not bad, but it had more intrigue when it came across as a sharp, candy-like scent. I would like to revisit this and perhaps post a more thorough review eventually. However, my initial impression is that, while not bad, there’s really no reason to switch from good old original Tommy to this. Also, given that I got almost two completely different scents from this depending on where it was sprayed means that it should probably be tested thoroughly before purchasing based on first sniff alone.

Nah this one is a great pass, smells
like fresh grapefruit thats all i get,
nothing special at all, kinda disappointing
as i tend to like Hilfiger fragrances.

Smelled this today at my local shop. It is extremely citrusy. Perfect for the summer, so I do not understand why they released this now? Definitely worth a try, but do not expect anything groundbreaking.

Back in 1998 i would’ve given my left nut for this bottle, but now i’m like meh… i hope it’s good though. i still love the original tommy cologne and tommy athletics, the forgotten masterpiece.
