Terre de Lumiere Edition Or has the exact same notes listed as Terre de Lumiere; so it’s just the bottle that is different. As a scent it didn’t surprise me a lot, even though weird scents are welcome. Applied at 11:25 and at 12:30 I would smell only a hint of sweetness close to the skin. Initially it has a better sillage.
With an opening that reminds gasoline, I would also smell pineapple, leather, woody notes and lemon. Quite a niche scent. After 10 minutes it softens nicely into a vanillic and honeyed drydown. A lot of musk too.
Not the best, not the worst. If it’s a luminous earthy scent? Well sure. But you gotta like these sorts of perfumes. I don’t have a problem with quiet scents close to skin, but I demand a good longevity. This one is way too fleeting and way too quiet. As a scent it’s decent, very appropriate for office and for sensitive noses. Also for young ladies who want to start wearing perfume but don’t want to fall into heavy florals or orientals or sugary perfumes, Terre de Lumiere is balanced and a modest option

I was pleasantly surprised after I tried this one today. Maybe I was expecting some dreary Body Shop type concoction, or something cheap like Bath & Body works (down, down, I’m not a hater of B&B, but cummon! they are cheap even tho they smell good).
Instead of either of those things I got a very bright gorgeous scent. If a woman wore this around me I would be very distracted and take many deep breathes around her. I am quite surprised there are few loves and only likes in the votes so far.

To me this one seems to veer off trail from the regular L’Occitane offerings. Pleasant enough but something common that could be found at any mall department store.

I was walking in the mall when I smelled something very pleasant. As I walked closer I saw L’occitane’s sales rep handing out samples. I took one and it smelled so good I had to go back and sprayed it on my skin as well. First the citrus gives a very nice balance to the sweet notes but after that fades away the honey and the almond remains on my sking and that is just too sweet for my liking. Another note was also bothering me and I realized it was lavender. Since I am not a big fan of lavender this perfume will not come home with me. It’s a nice fragrance but nothing special.

Just tried this in a sample package. I love the sweet smell and it really does remind me of Victor&Rolf Bonbon. I’m def going to buy this.
